Anubhav was walking back and forth infront of Operation Theatre in a Hospital. He was in his Uniform. A middle aged couple and a man walked towards him worried expression all over their faces.

"Kaha hai Hassena?", The man asked Anubhav holding his collar. "Kya kiya hai tumne uske saath?", The man asked angrily.

"Dekhiye, jara dheere baat kijiye. Humne kuch nahi kiya hai. Humne toh ulta unki Jaan bachayi hai. Aur ha hum iss sheher ke SP hai isiliye tameez se baat kijiye!", Anubhav said calmly, coming out from his hold.

"Hum iski taraf se maafi maangte hai lekin yeh toh bataye ki hamari Hassena hai kaha?", The women asked.

"Doctor unka ilaj kar rahe hai, kuch keh nahi sakte. Lekin hume pura yakeen hai ki voh Bach jayegi.", Anubhav said assuring.

The elderly couple nodded. Soon, Doctor came out from OT and all of them ran towards him. They started questioning him about Hassena's health.

"Dekhiye, abhi voh khatre se bahar hai", Anubhav was relieved listening to him. "Unke lungs mein paani chala gaya tha toh usse humne nikal diya hai, lekin unke saar par ek gehri chot aa gayi hai toh shayad uss chot ko recover karne mein time lag jaye. Main kuch keh nahi sakta, hosh mein ane tak ka wait karte hai!", Doctor said and walked away.

After some time,

Hassena was still not in her consciousness. Anubhav was waiting till he make sure that she is okay.... He was in waiting room when his mobile rang. It was his mother, he recieved the call.

"Ha Maa, boliye...."

"Kitna time lagega tujhe Anu... Reshma intezaar kar rahi thi, uske Maa Baba bhi. Tujhe kaha tha na vakt par ghar aa jaana...", Maa said angrily.

"Maa hamari baat toh suniye darasal hua yeh ki aaj jab hum investigation ke liye gaye the tab hume ek ladki talab mein dubte dikhi. Hum usse hospital le aye isiliye nahi aa paye...", Anubhav explained.

"Baap re... Voh ladki abhi kaisi hai?", Maa asked concerned.

"Voh abhi thik hai Maa ... Baas hum unke hosh mein ane tak ka intezar kar rahe hai. Jaise hi voh hosh mein aa jayegi hum ghar aa jayenge... Abhi aap rakhiye aur khaana kha kar so jaeye, hum akar khaana kha lenge aap chinta maat kijiye.", Finally, after convincing his mother, he disconnected the call.

He got up from his place and walked inside the general ward where Hassena was kept. He walked towards her and eyed her curiously....

After some minutes,

The elderly couple and the man entered the room where Anubhav was still there. This clearly irritated the man.

"Dekho, hum hai Hassena ke paas abhi tum ja sakte ho!", The man said rudely.

"Sameer, yeh kya tarika hai kisi se baat karne ka?", The elderly woman scolded angrily. "Dekhiye hum aapse maafi maangte hai lekin kya haina Sameer aapni Aapi ke liye kuch jyada hi overprotective hai!"

"Nagma ji bilkul sahi keh rahi hai. Aapne hamari Hassena ki jaan bachai hai iske liye hum aapke sukragujar hai lekin abhi aap jyada taklif na lete hue yaha se ghar jaeye aur Aram kariye. Hum Hassena ka dhyaan rakhne ke liye hai yaha!", The elderly man spoke.

"Hum samajhte hai parantu hum Inke hosh mein ane tak ka intezar karenge. Kya haina utni hi hamare dil ko tasalli ho jayegi", Anubhav said smiling.

"Ammi...", Sameer spoke suddenly pointing towards Hassena. "Aapi ko lagta hai hosh aa raha hai. Hum Doctor ko bula laate hai", Sameer said and went out to call the Doctor.

After 30 minutes,

Doctor came out from the ward.

"Aab Miss. Hassena ki halat bilkul thik hai aap unse mil sakte hai lekin jara dheere baat kijiye!", Doctor said and went away.

All four entered the ward, Anubhav stood one side and other three to other side. Hassena looked at all of them.

"Anubhav... Aap vaha humse itna dur kyu khaade hai hamare paas aeye. Aur yeh bataeye ki (pointing towards rest three) yeh sabhi kon hai?", All of them were shocked listening to her.

"Kya matlab? Tum hume nahi jaanti. Toh tumhare hisaab se yeh (pointing towards Anu) kon hai tumhara?", Sameer asked angrily.

"Oh hello! Tameez se baat kariye. Shohar hai voh hamare. Hum aapne shohar ko nahi pehchanenge ko kise pehchanenge", Hassena said sternly.

"Yeh aap kya keh rahi hai Devi ji. Hum aapke pati kaise ho sakte hai? Hum toh aapse pehli baar mil rahe hai!", Anubhav said fearfully.

"Kya Ganda mazak kar rahe hai Anubhav! Aap aapni Patni ko aaise kaise bhul sakte hai. Aap bohot gande hai hume aapse baat hi nahi karni", Hassena cried out making all of them shock.

In Doctor 's Cabin,

"Hassena aaise kyu baat kar rahi hai?"

"Lagta hai unke sar par jo chot lagi hai yeh usi ka natija hai", Doctor said.

"Lekin Doctor abhi kya karna hai?"

"Abhi sirf ek hi raasta hai, jaisa voh samajhti hai vaisa hi rehne dijiye. Thode hi dino mein usse sab sach yaad aa jayega...", All nodded though they were not ready for this.

"Aapni puri zindagi mein aaisa ajeeb memory loss ka case maine pehli baar dekha hai", Doctor said when all of them left.

Two days later,

Anubhav make Maa understand about the situation and Maa agreed to help Hassena.

Anubhav took Hassena to his room. Anubhav closed the door. When Anubhav turned he felt someone has wrapped arms around her. He smiled and wrapped his arms around the figure tightly.

"I love you Anubhav...", Hassena kissed above his chest.

"I love you too"

They broke the tight hug and he pressed his lips against hers.
