'This is the kitchen, living room, foozball table, eating area' Joey said proudly, as he and Chandler showed Celeste around their apartment.
Celeste looked around at the slightly messy, but no doubt cozy apartment she would spend the next few weeks in.
'This is so kind of you - I mean I'm a total stranger!' She said, not really helping her case at all but otherwise grateful for the boys' kindness.
'Don't worry about it, trust me I know what it's like to spend your first night in a big city like this' Joey said reaching to put a hand on Celeste's shoulder. She couldn't help but notice Chandler eyed Joey up suspiciously, having gone awfully quiet.
Joey seemed to sense Chandlers suspicion and saved the situation by offering to take Celeste's coat.
'Thanks Joey'
'Right well, I'll set up the sofa bed, who's sleeping where?' Chandler piped up after an awkward silence.
'Honestly I'll use the sofa bed, it's the least I can do' The girl said, so desperate to repay the boys.
'No you've have a shit day -
'Chandler it's fine -
'No but -
'Honestl-
'GUYS' interrupted Joey
'Let's alternate, I'll use the sofa bed tonight, Chandler tomorrow, then Celeste after that and so on' said Joey with a proud smile
'Joey, I say this with love, that's the most logical thing that's ever come out of your mouth' Chandler joked
'It's a great idea Joey' Celeste said wanting to demonstrate her gratitude.
The next hour was spent organising, Chandler set up the living room so that they could sleep on the sofa and Joey presented Celeste with miscellaneous objects left behind by ex girlfriends and one night stands that he thought she would find useful, (half used cans of deodorant, a Blondie graphic t shirt, and a pink hairbrush). And after the three of them had organised the apartment to suit the new living situation they decided to visit the girls next door.

'So I think your Aura is yellow Joey, you're in tune with your creative and artistic side and you have a positive outlook in your relationships, don't you agree Pheebs?'
Celeste was sat cross legged by the table in the girls apartments, Next to Phoebe, and below Chandler, his legs brushing against her back every now and again.
'Completely, when I had my aura reading done they said I was purple because I was in tune with the divine, which makes sense because of my past lives' Phoebe explained passionately, and Celeste was captivated by her enthusiasm and was sure they would be great friends.
'Does the colour of your aura let on anything about your love life then?' Monica enquired
'Well it can, depending on how you interpret it' said Phoebe Wisely
'What's my colour then, I wanna know!?' Monica wined
'I see orange' Pheobe said straightforwardly
Celeste burst out laughing instantly, falling backward into Chandler who was sat on the sofa above her, making him jump slightly but smile at her sudden outburst.
'WHAT DOES THIS MEAN' Monica screamed eager to know what her Aura had in store for her.
'It means sexually deviant' Phoebe said unbothered.
The room erupted into laughter, Although Ross looked slightly uncomfortable at the thought of his little sister's aura.
'So what exactly did you get up to with Fun Bobby then Mon?' Chandler said jokingly
And everyone once again descended into a fit of giggles.
'I should get my aura done' Rachel said dreamily.
'I wonder if it can enlighten me about my sex life aswell, I mean Paulo is a very passionate lover -
Ross laughed uncomfortably,
'I love it when we share' he said shaking his head at the ground.
Celeste looked around to Chandler slightly resting her hand on his knee to face him, as his breath quickened at her touch,
''You'll have to fill me in later' she smiled with a hint of curiosity at the groups dynamic,
Chandler leaned down so as to whisper gently to her ear,
'Oh I definitely will - later' his warm breath breezed over her neck.
They shared a mischievous smile and Celeste grew impatient at the thought of all the groups gossip she wanted to hear.
'Well kids I gotta go home, I have a big day tomorrow!' Ross said jumping up to grab his coat
'Oh yeah what's going on?' Rachel inquired
'Just a conference about the preserved remains of an Australopithecus they found in Ethiopia'
As soon as he said this the whole group started to yawn and pretend to fall asleep, as Ross rolled his eyes at their joke.
'I'm sorry my job is so boring!' He said slightly offended but smiled at their laughter.
The group began to joke around once more and they spent the rest of the night enjoying beers, Monica's food and each other's company, especially that of their new friend.

'Right I'm gonna fall into bed I think' Chandler said yawning (for real this time) 'I've got work in the morning aswell, God being 24 is thrilling!'
Celeste giggled,
'Well, Bonsoir!' Said Celeste sleepily, gazing at Chandler, who was leaning against the doorframe of his room.
He was captivated by the way she would hold eye contact. Her eyes would look at him with such warmth. He usually felt awkward with prolonged eye contact but with this girl he'd known for about 10 hours he was completely comfortable.
As they gazed at each other almost knowing what each other was thinking, but suddenly a deep New York accent interrupted,
'I think that means goodnight...In French'
Celeste couldn't help but share a small laugh at Joey's confidence,
'Well done Joe, your intellectual capacity holds no bounds!' Chandler said sarcastically.
And as Celeste walked towards Joeys room she would be using, she smiled to herself.
She didn't feel so alone anymore.
