"Run, Cap, this is my fight"
"I'm not leaving you, not just yet"

Faye had finally been released from the infirmary room but was still stuck at the avengers building along with the rest of avengers due to them all being targeted by Hydra and their 'special weapon'. She was no walking down the stairs with all her gear together seeing as they had found where Allison was along with her team of Hydra. She hit the last step and she started to hear whispers. She paused and looked in the direction it came from, slowly heading towards it.

"Help"

"Please help me"

The avengers watched as Faye walked past them with confusion written across their faces. Faye didn't even bother noticing them, not that she cared much, she just wanted to find out where the voices were leading her to.

"Please, Faye, she's taking control, I need you to help" It was Allison's voice that had lead her to an empty room full of absolutely nothing. Her voice was different, it was actually Allison's voice, Faye knew it was. Her voice sounded just how it did before she died. She stared at the wall ahead of her, head tilted in confusion.

"Allison?" Faye's voice croaked out as a hand came and touched her shoulder causing her to jump back and turn around to the person. It was just Steve. A look of worry written in his icy blue eyes that Faye loved so much. Faye justed nodded at him, telling him that she was okay and the two left with the others to find Allison.

Faye managed to let her be the first one out although they were a hesitant because of what happened last time. Allison stood across from Faye outside the building that Allison had died at. They stood in the same place she had watched her fall. Right now it was just her and Allison, the avengers were hidden close by so if Faye was to get hurt, they would jump in to action.

"Remember this place, Faye? I know I do" Allison spoke with a smug smirk plastered across her pale face. Faye said nothing, just glared at her. Faye knew what was going to happen, it was either her death or Allison's. Faye rather die first then let her best friend die again and be controlled by someone possessing her or at least that's what Faye inferred was happening to Allison.

"I'm not going to kill you, Alli, I'm trying to help you" When Faye used that nickname a look of guilt and sadness flashed across Allison's face but was quickly replaced by a smug look.

"I know but someone's gotta die tonight and it has to be me or you" Allison stepped closer to Faye, who backed away with a worried and scared look. "I choose you"

Allison smirked before pushing her hand forward in the air in Faye's direction. It was like Faye was hit with a force, a very strong force because before she knew it she was slammed into a wall. She reached her hand up to feel her head and as she perdicted, she was bleeding.

As if it was an instinct, Steve ran towards Faye. His eyebrows furrowed and his face covered in worry as he looked Faye up and down for injures. Faye opened her eyes up and leaned closer to Steve. Without any warning, she pressed her lips roughly against Steve's, one of her hands pressed against his cheek. No fireworks went off like they say it does in books. It was like her lips belonged to him and him only. They fit perfectly together. Faye slowly pulled away and looked up at Steve who was confused.

"Run, Cap, this is my fight" Faye's eyes were no longer the normal green color they usually were. They were now a white color, the same color that Allison had saw the night she first encountered Faye. They changed back to the normal green color causing Steve to furrow his eyebrows.

"I'm not leaving you, not just yet" Faye glared up at him but he just pushed the look to the side and pulled her up with him. Faye looked around, everyone was fighting and Allison stood to the side with a satisfying smirk on her face. It was like she wanted this to happen and thats when it hit her. This was exactly what Allison wanted, for all us to fight and get distracted while she does whatever the hell she had planned to do.

Without an warning, Faye took off running in Allison's direction who was now walking off into an abandoned building. Faye came to utter stop and rose her hand in the air in Allison's direction. She didn't know exactly what she was doing but all she could was let whatever power was surging through her hand at the moment flow out. Faye slowly opened her closed eyes and lowered her hand. The mess that played out in front of her was caused by her. Allison was laying in front of a now dented wall with blood splattered around her in a puddle. Luckily, nobody around her was hurt only minorly injured.

"Allison..." Faye was terrified of herself by now, she was scared she had killed her best friend, again. She wasn't suppose to kill her, she was suppose to save her from herself. Faye shook out of her state and ran towards her best friend that laid in her own blood and crouched down beside her. Faye's hands trembled as the hovered over Allison's head and pushed her bangs to the side, gently. Faye flenched back with tears in her eyes when her friend started coughing up blood and spitting it out to the side. Her blood stained her pale skin.

"Its not your fault......Faye" Allison croaked out with a weak smile plastered across her now pale and lifeless face. It was the real Allison, the one she knew before she became what she was only a few moments ago.

"You'll always be my best friend and I love you" Sobs escaped Faye's lips. She didn't understand how her best friend could be sitting her smiling like she was having the best day when she was dying. Allison was just that kind of person, to smile even when the worst was to come.

"Keep smiling, Faye, Steve's a lucky guy" Faye let out a sad laugh as more sobs and tears came out. She didn't want Allison to leave her again. This wasn't what was suppose to happen, she was suppose to go home with her best friend back and alive. I guess nothing can ever can go the good way. Faye watched, sobbing loudly as her best friends breathing had now stopped and her hand fell out of Faye's and onto the concrete ground. She reached her shaky hand down and closed Allison's eyes. Something flashed in Faye's eyes. Her crying and sobbing had stopped, almost as if she had become emotionless. Faye stood up and looked at Steve and her brother who stood behind her with sympathetic looks. Steve took a step towards Faye but she gave him a look that told him to stop.

"My best friend is dead, she's dead because of me, again" Faye slowly said but he face stayed emotionless.

"Faye, she was a bad person and it wasn't your fault" Her brother, Tony, said and she slightly glared at him before turning back to look at absolutely nothing. She began to walk past the group.

"In end, I'm always going to be infinitely and utterly alone.." Her voice trailed off and before they knew it, she was gone.
