Sonic woke up he blink a few time before he realizing where he was sonic grubs his head as he find himself in sitting on the couch "ugh!... What happened?....." Sonic grunted as he finally realized where he was. He was in tails house he also notice that still a werehog but cover with bandages mostly on right arm ,on his leg and on his chest even on his forehead sonic look around and notice the two tailed fox standing in front of him tails nussel the werehog as tears began to drip to Sonic's chest "Sonic!! Thank good your alive!!..." Tails said as he began to cry with tear dripping to floor sonic response as he hugs tails with a weak smile endracing him with his Large furry arms.

Shadow on  the other hand was watching them in one the house windows he feel guilty for what he have done as if he almost attack him with own hands that night and he no idea what happened him. did he got attack by something in the woods? In he wasn't to sure what happened to sonic at all. Sonic notice him outside of the window he tilt head as he saw the same figure that in he saw in woods that night. Shadow transformed into a bat and flies as the sun rising on the horizon.

Dawn was rising as skies turn into like greyish color. Tails suggest that sonic should stay at bed till his wounds heals tails also closed the windows and pulling down the curtain so the lights won't disturbed his while rest. However shadow was still not found. They tried look for his but failed even soldiers tried but they were found dead at the morning. But sonic in the other hand was still in his werehog in his room not leaving it for a second he keeps hiding his identity after that wolf attack him even that now his wounds healed his still in his room in the same form. Tails would come by the bring him food and talk with but never go outside ever again hoping that no will see him or attack him as this beast.
