At Nandini’s home,

“Khadus, sadu, grumpy, heartless all these words fall short for him. Aiyappa uski problem kya hai mai kya use current deti hu, humesha mere sath hi who aisa kyo karta hai? Mean kahika apne dad se vi respect se baat nahi karta. I just HATE him, mujhe uski shakal kabhi nahi dekhni” said Nandini in anger as she complained about Manik to her Aiyappa.

She was moving to and fro in her room. Cabir entered “Nandu, you were so good today, I am proud of you but itni sadi hui shakal kyo bana rakkhi hai, my cutie” said he as he pulled her cheeks.

Nandini removed his hand “apni sade hue dost se pooch, humesha meri mood ki band baja deta hai” said Nandini .

Cabir laughed “Oh! You mean jo tera pati hote hote reh gaya, wow my behna is so sanskari shadi cancel ho gayi fir vi uska name nahi legi” he said teasing her.

Nandini became more angry “Cabir tu mere haton se hi marega” she said as she hit him.

“Okay I am sorry meri jan, accha yeh dekh tere lie koi courier aya hai, court papers hai kholke dekhle” said Cabir.

Nandini went to the dressing table “woh dad nei mere lie koi property buy ki hai, usi ki papers honge, I’m not interested tu hi open karle” said she.

“Okay, dekhte hai uncle nei kaunsi property buy ki hai tere liye” said Cabir and opened the envelope.

“OMG!” yelled Cabir as he read the papers. His eyes had almost popped out.

“Arreh, kya hua? Itna shocked kyo hai?” uttered Nandini.

Cabir took a deep breath “mai toh bas shocked hu, tu dekhegi toh teri jaan chali jayegi, bechari Nandu kitni acchi larki thi” said he.

“Nautanki kahika, thik se bol na kya hai?” said Nandini impatiently.

“Okay, apne dil ko tham lo coz now you are not Nandini Moorthy, you have became Nandini Manik Malhotra, yeh marriage certificate hai tum dono ki, now you are married legally” said Cabir as he stared the papers.

Nandini’s head spun by hearing that “Cabir, tujhe sharam nahi ati aise masak karte hue, show it to me” said Nandini as she snatched the papers away from him.

Nandini’s mouth fell open on seeing the marriage certificate she passed out on the floor.

“Nandu!!!” yelled Cabir.

At Malhotra Residence,

Mr. Malhotra was smiling happily in his study room when the door banged open and Manik came inside. He threw the marriage certificate on his dad’s table “What the hell is this? You forged our signatures and got us married legally? Is this kind of a joke?” he yelled angrily.

Mr. Malhotra smiled and kept the papers safely in his drawer. “Dear son, 1st of all I have not forged urs and Nandini’s signature, you both have signed it willingly; ha yeh baat alag hai that you both were not aware that these were your marriage papaers. This is what happens when children don’t listen to their parents” he said casually.

“Dad! How can you do this to us? This is illegal I’m calling the lawyer and you will face charges of Fraud” said Manik.

Mr. Malhotra gave him the phone “ go ahead, but beta tum kabhi vi yeh prove nahi kar paoge that I did this without your consent. So the only way left for you is to divorce her but who vi 6 months se pehle nahi ho payega, so now be a good boy and bring your wife home” said Mr. Malhotra as he tapped on Manik’s shoulder and left the room.

Manik started breaking things in frustration “Dad! This is not fair, I am never going to do what you want!” said he in angry voice.

At, Nandini’s house,

Nandini was lying on the bed as she opened her eyes her mom was sitting beside her.

“Mom, yeh sab ek bura sapna hai right I am not married to Manik, bolo na Mom please” said Nandini.

Her mom waved on her head “beta kash yeh sab jhooth hota, but tu fiqr mat kar, I will get you out of this mess” said she and went to Mr. Moorthy.

At the hall, “How can you do this to my bacchi? Shadi koi khel nahi hai, it’s for life time” said Nandini’s mom.

“Maine sab kuch soch samajh ke hi kia hai, pata hai tumhe usne, he sent goons to torture Nandini agar uss din Manik sath nahi hota toh pata nahi kya ho jata, Cabir nei jab mujhe bola toh maine investigate karvaya and got all the details. Woh jail se azad ho gaya hai and ab who Nandini ke peeche ayega and will try to destroy our girl. Agar Manik Nandu ke sath hoga toh that guy will never dare to eye her and I have told all these to Malhotra and he has promised to take care of Nandu. I know she will be safe there issliye maine jaldi se yeh shadi karva di. I love my daughter more than anything else” said he with glassy eyes.

Nandini’s mom hold her husband’s hand “itna sab kuch ho gaya aur tumne mujhe bataya vi nahi, thik hai I will accept this marriage but mere kuch conditions hai” said she.

“Apke saare conditions hume manzoor hai bhabi ji bas hume apni bahu de dijiye” uttered Mr. Malhotra as he entered along with Nyonika.

Nandini’s mom looked at them blankly, Nyonika came forward to her “hmm I am happy, ab tumhari sabse pyaari cheez mere paas hogi, but don’t worry I will not take out my anger on her” she said.

“I will never let you do that,” said Mrs. Moorthy.

“What? Mom I thought aap mere side thi, mai uss ghar mei kabhi nahi jaungi, I hate Manik and I don’t accept this marriage. I will go to court” uttered Nandini.

Mr. Malhotra smiled “dono sochtei vi ek jaise hai, ekdam perfect couple, hai na Moorthy, please tell her that she or Manik can’t frame nor they can get rid of this marriage for 6 months” said he.

Nandini had tears in her eyes “uncle, papa, ap logo nei mere saath aisa kyo kia? Maine kya bigara hai aplogo ka” she said innocently.

Mr. Moorthy and Mr. Malhotra both felt bad by seeing her like that. “Beta, we are not your enemies we want you guys to stay happy and trust me your happiness lies in being together. Ok fine just 6 months uske baad agar you feel like you hate him then I will help you get divorce. Please, be my daughter-in-law, I beg you” said Mr. Malhotra as he waved his head on Nandini’s head.

Being the kind of emotional girl Nandini was she could not turn him down, she knew that saying yes would ruin her life completely but she just could not deny his pleas. She just sat there silently.

“Wow! ap log toh master gamers nikle, my poor sister got framed into your trap, arreh Marriage is such a big word and what about  Manik? will he accept her? Never ! being the kind of person he is he will misbehave with her, hurt her and will make her life miserable. I am sorry I can’t accept this foolishness. According to the law they both need to stay together, fine Nandini will go to your house only if Manik comes to take her and promises to behave properly. I can’t see Manik here so come back when he is with you, otherwise not! And now you can leave” said Cabir on a serious note.

Nandini smiled sadly by seeing the caring nature of her brother.

Mr and Mrs Malhotra left the house silently.

At Malhotra residence,

“she is your wife and you will have to bring her home” said Mr. Malhotra to Manik.

Manik smirked “Oh so Nandini denied to come here, I knew that. But I am never going to bring her here, it’s my choice” said Manik.

Mr. Malhotra put his hand on his heart and acted as if he was having a heart attack “Manik!!” he said in a shaky voice.

By seeing him like that Manik got worried “Dad” he uttered and took him to the bedroom.

The doctor came almost immediately, the doctor was a friend of Mr. Malhotra and he said as he was taught “Manik your dad just had a minor stoke, don’t make him sad, keep him happy high blood pressure and tension is not good for him, just obey him” said the doctor as he left.

“Don’t you love your dad? Why can’t you listen to him? What will happen if he dies?” uttered Neyonika.

“Just shut up, you don’t dare give me lectures about love and care” said Manik as he went out from there.

Neyonika felt sad and said “the plan has flopped".

At Nandini’s house

“Wah! Mere sher tune toh aaj kamal kar dia” uttered Nandini as she hugged Cabir.

“Maine yeh apne liye kia, agar tu Manik ke ghar chali jati toh barbadi meri hoti and tu ro ro ke Meenakumari ban jati” said Cabir.

“Tu humesha masak hi karega, meri jaan abhi vi shant nahi hui, what a blizzard in my life” uttered Nandini.

“Nandini, can I talk to you?” uttered Manik as he knocked on the door.

Both Nandini and Cabir looked at Manik shockingly .

Manik came inside “Cabir, can you please, I need to talk to her in private” said Manik.

Cabir nodded and left the room.

Nandini could see that Manik’s eyes were red, but she did n’t ask him anything as she knew he would insult her. “Look Nandini, we are in this weird situation, due to the stubbornness of our dads. But my dad is not well, he just had a minor stroke” said Manik softly. “Oh no! Manik is he okay?” asked Nandini with concern.

Manik smiled sadly “he is fine, Nandini you care for everyone, please care for me and my dad as well, for his complete recovery, we need to do this marriage thing. But don’t worry, we will not be a couple, we will just stay under one roof to make him happy, only for 6 months, then we will be free.
Nandini, I know you hate me but please do this for me” said Manik pleadingly.

Nandini felt very bad she held Manik’s hand “Manik, please don’t talk like this, we can do it right afterall only for 6 months…jhel lungi iss monster ko” said Nandini.

Manik smiled and said “thanks”.

Nandini packed her bag and went downstairs with Manik. She looked at her mom and dad sadly, her parents hugged her.

“Listen Manik I am agreeing to this marriage but I have some conditions, so my conditions are: you two will stay in separate rooms, every weekend Nandini will come home and tum usse battameezi nahi karoge.” Said Mrs. Moorthy strictly.

Manik agreed.Chachi did the bidai rituals and Manik and Nandini left from there.

At Malhotra’s Mansion,

Mr and Mrs Malhotra welcomed them with open arms. “Finally you listened to me” said Mr. Malhotra, Manik was silent he just went up to his room. Neyonika called the servant to keep Nandini’s bag in her room.

“Beta, you must be hungry, what will you have for dinner?” said she sweetyly.

“Thanks aunty but I am not hungry, can I just go in the room?” said Nandini, sure dear go upstairs it’s the 2nd room” said Neyonika.

Nandini went up “meri
toh bhukh hi mar gayi hai, pata nahi maine kyo ha keh dia, mujhe no bolna ata hi nahi I am such a fool” Nandini kept blabbering and mistakenly went to the 1st room instead of second, which was Manik’s room, it was dark.

“Lights on karke kya karu, my life is full of darkness, so jati hu shayad better feel ho” said Nandini as she climbed the bed and lied down.

Suddenly she felt someone’s arms over her, for a moment she thought it was an illusion. But then the arms caught her strongly and she was pressed against someone’s bare chest “don’t leave me alone” whispered a voice, Nandini knew that voice it was Manik’s . He hugged her more tightly, Nandini felt so relaxed in his arms that her hand went automatically to hug him back. She noticed that he was asleep and was murmuring in his sleep state.

He kissed her on top of her head and tightened his grip over her body. Now, there was no gap between them.

Nandini uttered “Manik, what are you doing?”. He was silent, then she shook him. He got up from his sleepy state rubbed his eyes and turned on the light. “Nandini! Tum mere bed pe kya kar rahi ho?” he uttered.

“Mai galti see aa gayi in your room, but tum, you are so vulgar even in your sleep, Aiyappa, agar mai tumhe nahi uthati toh pata nahi tum mere saath kya karte” said Nandini as she got up from the bed.

“Huh! Hello don’t drool over yourself, just because we are in this situation don’t think that I am interested in doing ‘vulgar’ things with you” said Manik.

“Tumhare irade kitne nek hai, I know that, you are nothing less than a rapist! Kaise kiss kia tha mujhe” uttered Nandini as she touched her lips.

Manik was angry he got up from the bed and grabbed her arm “kyo vul gayi kaise kiss kia tha, fir se karke batau?” he said as he leaned close to her.

Nandini pushed him and ran to the door “tum kabhi nahi sudhroge, Mr. Manik Malhotra” said Nandini.

Manik smirked “try me, Mrs. Nandini Malhotra” he said and then realized what he had just uttered “shit! Did I just accept this marriage? What’s wrong with me!” uttered Manik as he held his head in confusion.
