This is set in the Dreamswap Multiverse. 

I'm lazy to put DS in their name so I have this sorta-warning.

Paperworks.

Dream has been stressed and tired lately.

He hasn't slept for 3 days straight. (No he isn't- lol)

He kept drinking coffee. (( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) jk- not for now-)

Dream looked at the pile of paperworks he had to do.

He also needs to fill up forms about the concerns about the meme squad's havoc.

They have been shoplifting too much recently. Probably because Christmas is coming.

Dream was never bothered about Christmas. The meme squad's mischief is a much more concerning matter.

And this other factor that annoys him.

Blue.

Ugh. He's another pain in the back. 

He kept annoying and distracting Dream while he's busy.

"Hey Dream~" Blue flirted. He's annoying Dream again.

Speaking of the devil.

"Blue. Please go out of my office, I am clearly stressed and tired with this mountain of paperworks." Dream explained.

There was silence for a while.

"Dream there is something I have to tell yo-" Blue said before Dream talked.

"I don't have time for your annoying jokes and flirts. I have paperwork to do so get out of my office." Dream said while flipping the pages while signing them.

Blue left with no complaint at all. That was strange. Blue never does that.

Meanwhile with Blue.

"How can I be stupid?" Blue cried at his house in Outertale.

"I c-clearly wanted t-to spend time with h-him.. I-I only just realized that I l-liked him." Blue sobbed more.

"I knew today wasn't the perfect one to confess. I missed my only chance. I can't face him anymore." Blue cried.

 Blue cried at his heartbroken self. He felt pity at himself. He's crying.. He really fell in love with Dream.

A week later.

Dream's POV:

I finished all my paperwork at last! There were no more piles for now. I can take a break like my right hand man advised.

I took a nap already.

...

It was weird but Blue didn't show up for the past week.

I..

I missed his presence.

His flirts, his voice..

Ugh! I think I fell for him..

But after our last interaction..

He might avoid me.

Anyways,

I have been feeling a negativity spike from Outertale.

I decided to find out on my own.

Outertale naturally has happy citizens.

I didn't find anytime for the past days to find out,

I finally have time to investigate.

Some time later..

Third Person's POV:

Blue is depressed. Over the past few days, he has just been crying and crying.

No, he didn't get too extreme that he thinks of oofing himself or oofing his ulna's bone marrow.

He's just sad and has insomnia issues. (( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) my multishipping butt-)

Dream's POV:

I finally found the area of the source..

A house?

I knock on the door.

Someone opened it.

Third Person's POV:

"Dream!? How'd you find my house?" Blue asked with his shocked 'happy' voice.

Dream clearly knows he isn't happy.

He can see his eyes swelling and his nose as well. 

Not to mention Blue's voice is raspier than usual.

"Tell me.. Why are you causing the negativity spike?" Dream asked, concerned?.

"I-I did?" Blue asked back.

"Yes you did. Mind telling me why?" Dream said.

"But before that, mind inviting me inside? It's kinda awkward having a conversation on your doorstep." Dream added.

"Oh yeah-" Blue said. He gestured to Dream to come in.

Dream sat in Blue's sofa.

"Now, tell me." Dream said to Blue.

Blue is sweating. He clearly doesn't want to talk about it.

"Why do you need to know?" Blue looked away from Dream.

He can't look at Dream straight? in his eye lights.

"I need to know." Dream protested.

"I'm not much of an importance. I only invited you in because I have to, you are the 'Lord Dream' so I cannot refuse that." Blue said sarcastically.

"I NEED to know." Dream raised his voice higher.

"You are going out of my house. I don't want to see you again." Blue said.

"WHY ARE YOU SO DESPERATE TO KNOW?" Blue added.

"I NEED TO KNOW WHY ARE YOU FEELING BAD CAUSE I CLEARLY LIKE YOU! ISN'T THAT OBVIOUS?" Dream yelled.

Dream covered his mouth. The words slipped out of him.

Awkward.

"Y-You like me?" Blue said breaking the silence.

"..." Dream looked away. He is embarrassed. 

"This is a sick joke, you don't like me." Blue said.

Dream looked at him.

"Get out of my house." Blue ordered.

Dream looked at Blue.. Then left his house.

"I-I can't- he is clearly tricking me. He's playing with my feelings." Blue said backing to a corner.

Blue curled up and sobbed at the corner.

Dream is still in Outertale. He is just outside of Blue's house.

He was rejected. Dream cannot comprehend that thought.

Dream looked back at the house as he can hear a faint sob coming from Blue.

The negativity affected him. It worsened.

Without a second thought, he teleported back inside to see a sobbing Blue.

"Shh- I'm here. Don't cry.." Dream said, with a reassuring hug.

"D-Dream..? W-Why are you back here.. I-I told you to leave me alone." Blue replied.

"I am the cause of your negativity right?" Dream looked at Blue.

Blue looked away.

"H-How'd you know?" Blue asked.

"The negativity coming from you worsened when I 'confessed' to you.. I didn't have a proper confession-" Dream said.

"I-I like you back... I can't help but feel you're just playing with me. I was supposed to confess that day." Blue said.

"Y-You do?" Dream said shocked.

No wonder the negativity spiked after that day.

He wanted to talk to Dream. But he refused.

Dream felt bad.

"I'm sorry I made you feel that way.. I was just stressed and.. tired from all those paperworks." Dream explained.

"So.. are we a thing now? I mean we confessed so-" Blue wondered.

"I guess so.." Dream said while hugging Blue.

He really fell for him, and so did he.

*Bonus*

Error can't help but worry for his BFF.

After all, Blue helped Error and became his bestfriend.

He visited Blue's house to hear sobbing.

Dream appeared in his front door, so Error hid.

Error watched the scenes happen in front of him.

He takes a picture of Dream and Blue snuggling. What a cute couple.

Nightmare would be proud that his brother found love.

Error proceeded to come back to the meme squad's house and continued his day like nothing happened. 

He can show the picture to them later.
