Nalini's House

Anubhav was on bed and a nurse and doctor both were attaching various instruments to his body. Hassena was standing there looking at them.

Doctor: maine saare instruments laga diye hai, saari medicines humne yaha rakhe di hai! Nurse yahi hai, aap ko Kisi aur cheez ki jarurat ho toh unhe bula dijiye ga.

Hassena: ji Doctor. Hume Kisi bhi cheez ki jarurat padegi toh hum nurse ko inform kar Denge.

Doctor left and Nurse was outside the room.

Hassena sat beside Anubhav and held his hand, interwoven them together. She caressed his hair and placed a kiss on his forehead. She wiped her tears. Suddenly, her eyes fell on numerous photo frames across the room.

She very carefully, took out her hand and walked towards the photo frames. She took a frame in her hand; it was of Nalini and Anubhav. She smiled at the brother sister duo. She took a look on other frames of Karishma, Nalini and Anubhav together, Karishma, two old ladies probably Karishma's and Anubhav's mom, Nalini and Anubhav together. None of the images included their father's pictures. She understood that Karishma, Nalini and Anubhav lost their fathers at very young age. Hassena's eyes were teary as she too lost her father at a young age.

She found a one more photo frame in a half opened drawer. She opened it and found a picture of Nalini with a other man.

Hassena: yeh aadmi kon hai? Inka boyfriend toh nahi hai? Par unhone kabhi bataya nahi. Khair mujhe kya unki personal life se?

She put the the frame back in the drawer and heard a knock on the door.

Hassena: Nurse? Aap Yaha?

Nurse: voh actually, sponge bath dena hai. Isiliye.

Nurse was going to go but Hassena after thinking said,

Hassena: koi baat nahi aapko sir ko sponge bath dene ki jarurat nahi hai. Hume dijiye hum sponge bath de denge. Aur hum bata de hume sponge bath dena ata hai!

Nurse: ji, agar aap keh rahi hai toh!

Nurse handed over the materials to Hassena and exited the room.

She awkwardly opened his shirt and removed it. She very carefully placed a plastic sheet under him, precaution for not getting the bed wet from the water. She gently caressed his face. She rubbed the soap on his body and dipped a sheet in water to wipe the soap. She wiped the soap and dipped another sheet in water. She took his hand in her and kissed it gently; wiping it. Once she was done, she removed the plastic sheet under him and again dressed him.

She came out and called out Nurse.

Hassena: Hum ne sir ko sponge bath de diya hai. Agar aapko koi medication karna ho toh kar lijiye.

Nurse: no ma'am. Koi medication nahi karni, sham ko ek base doctor ayenge tab sab check karenge.

Hassena: thank you Nurse.

She came back to room. She sat beside Anubhav.

Hassena: aapko pata hai humne usse aapko sponge bath dene se mana Kyu kiya kyuki hum nahi chahte the ki voh aapko choue. Hum jaante hai thode over possessive ho rahe hai, par kya kare? Hum Aapne emotions ko control mein nahi rakh pa rahe hai. Aap please jaldi se thik ho jaye baas!Aapki, Karishma Singh ki aur Nalini Madam ki tasveer jab dekhi tab hume yeh ehsaas hua ki aap ne bhi Aapne abbu ko Bohot choti umar mein hi kho diya. Aap jaante hai ki hamare abbu kehte the ki aapni jindagi mein kabhi bhi haar mat Manana. Hum jaante hai ki aap bhi apne abbu ko Bohot miss karte honge. ( Gets teary eyes ) agar aap aaise hi rahenge toh kitna bura lagega aapko aaise dekhkar. Please jaldi thik ho jaye.

In the hospital,

Nurse: tum kon ho? Chodo mera haath.

Yes, it was Nalini.

Nalini: tumhe kya lagtaa hai ki hum police vale sab bewakoof hai.

Karishma and remaining all came from behind and nab her.

Nalini: saare hospital staff ko instruct kiya gaya tha ki koi bhi iss ward mein na aye. Toh Tum Yaha kya kar rahe ho jara batane ka kast karenge?

Nurse: chodo mujhe!

Karishma pulled her towards herself and slapped her tight on the face.

Karishma: Amma, agar ek aur kantap Aapne muh par nahi chahti na toh batao ki kisne bhej hai tumhe Yaha? Bata raho ho ya lagau ek aur kantap.

Nurse: Batati hun. Please maarna mat. Mujhe yaha Aatish aur Sanjana ne bheja hai. Unhone Mujhe dhamki di hai ki agar maine DSP Anubhav Singh ko nahi maara toh voh mujhe maar denge. Please mujhe bacha lo.

Nalini: kaha hai Aatish aur Sanjana?

Nurse: voh dono.....

Hassena was sleeping on the bed, when the door bell rang. Hassena opened the door, it was a person she didn't recognize.

Hassena: aap kon aur Yaha kya kar rahe hai?

Person: voh actually, main IB officer hun. Dakshesh Parekh, Yeh mera ID Card. ( He forwarded the ID card )

IG, Commissioner walked inside after them.

Hassena: Jai Hind Sir!

"Jai Hind!"

D. Parekh: Dekhiye hum Yaha Anubhav ko dekhne aye hai.

Hassena: chaliye!

She guided them towards the room where Anubhav was kept.

IG: yeh kya haal ho gaya hai Anubhav ka? Doctor ne kya kaha?

Hassena: sir, doctor ne kaha ki voh Abhi coma main hai. Agar ek mahine ke andar unhe hosh nahi aya toh... ( She stopped in mid sentence as her voice choked in her mouth ) toh voh hamesha ke liye... ( She stopped and wiped her tears )

Commissioner: aap himmat rakhiye Hassena Mallik, kuch nahi Hoga Anubhav ko.

D. Parekh: kya aap Hassena Malik hai? Mission Jeet mein humne hi Anubhav ko aapko aapne pyaar mein phasane ke liye kaha tha. I am so sorry!

Hassena looked at him.

Hassena ( smiled with teary eyes ): Aapne unhe hame Aapne pyaar mein phasane ke liye kaha tha na, par khud tot gaye...

D. Parekh: kya matlab?

Hassena: Jane dijiye na sir.. aapko pata hai Aapke iss order ne unse inka pyaar chin liya hamesha ke liye. Kabhi kabhi sochte hai ki galti hamari thi, unki thi yah Aapke diye gaye order ki..

Mr. Parekh looked at her in confusion. Commissioner and IG looked at each other...
