(Y/n) POV

'So that's how we get to the Wave...' I thought. 'When the time got to zero we teleported to the closet place to the Boss?... Hummmmm. For now I should just see what happens.'

"Phila, Doluh we should go to another place while we wait the Heroes defeat the Boss monster." I say to them. "Yes!!" They answer.

I prepare my staff and say "Greater Invisibility". A few seconds later we turn invisible and I say another spell "Greater Levitation", soon I feel my body lighter. With my staff I guide them to a higher place to see the Heroes play their part. Doluh breaks the silence saying "Only three Heroes rushed to the monster, the Shield Herois going to the right". "Hm? Why would he go there?" I asked, Phila answered "If I remember correctly, there is a village nearby". "So the Shield Hero, who is considered a low life and monster to the people, is going to save them." I pause for a little and give a little laugh "Hahahaha! I knew it! He isn't a bad guy! We shouldn't trust rumors!" I exclaimed. "Let's wait and see how it goes." I decided, the two demi-humans nod, but we're invisible so I didn't see it.

--After a while--

"Those three are so weak! Way too weak! Just what are they doing in there? Playing with the monster?" I started rumbling angry. "At least the rift is closing, no need to be upset with them (Y/n)!!" Said Phila to calm me down. "Phila is right (Y/n) and we should go back to the city soon, your spells effects are ending." Reasoned Doluh. I sigh and say "Sure, thinking too much about them will do me no good too. Let's go back"

--The next day--

"-n)! (Y/n)! Wake up!" I hear someone say while shaking me. "Five more minutes..." I say. 'I just want to sleep mooore' then the next thing I feel is a cold floor against my back "Urf! Why?!" I exclaimed know fully awake. "You didn't wake up, so I did this" responded Doluh with a amused smirk on his face. "Happy that you woke me up?" I sarcastically asked him while getting up from the floor. "We should go eat something downstairs, Phila is waiting for us" said Doluh. I answer with a "Okay~" and start to get ready.

Soon we find Phila, she was at a table waiting for us, or the food. "(Y/n)! Doluh!" She shouted when she saw us. Morning Phila... Did something happened? You seem giddy" I noted when we neared the table, she had the 'I heard something' face. "It seems that yesterday, after the Wave, the Lance Hero and Shield Hero had a duel over a demi-human!" She exclaimed. "The Shield Hero had that raccoon girl as a slave and Lance Hero saved her!" Phila continued, I looked at her and thought 'That demi-human didn't seem to be saved tho...' Then our food, that Phila already asked , came and we started eating. "I didn't notice she was slave, she had no signs of being one too" said Doluh. "Maybe there was a reason to that. I don't think the Shield Hero would have one just for fun" I continued Doluh thoughts. After that we ate in silence, but I could see that both were worried about that girl 'Makes sense, they are demi-humans and Melromac isn't a place that good for the' I thought.

I sigh and say "If we meet them I can ask about it" both relaxed and lighted up. "Thank you (Y/n)!!" Exclaimed Phila. "I think her name is Raphtalia, when we met at the blacksmith, the Shield Hero called her that" informed Doluh. "Alright, after we finish our plates we can walk through the city, see the shops and search for an adventurer quest, we still need to wait for Doluh armor anyway" I suggest for Phila and Doluh. 'Might as well search for him' I thought while we finished eating.

Heya!! I'm back with a fresh chapter!!
Now I will explain the spells presented.
-"Greater Invisibility" can make 3 or more people, of the caster choice, become invisible.

-"Greater Levitation" can make 3 or more people, of the caster choice, levitate.

Both of the spells are from D&D, but with a modification that I thought for the situation. As the Staff Hero reader-kun can easily learn and cast any spell, be it like Naofumi and his shield or by leveling up. Reader-kun has offensive spells, but he is mainly a support and healing. Because of the staff he has affinity with all elements, different from the others heroes.

Now, what should reader-kun mount? The birdies or lizards?
(Pls answer, I want to make him buy one egg in the next chapter)
