As Zora logged in to Gun Gale Online, he saw multiple players and in some cyber futuristic town.

Zora: It's a lot different than ALO...Go figure, killing people is the point of this game.

Man: Holy Crap! Then that means you've got a M9000 Model! I'll give you 4...no! 5 for it! Sell it to me! Come on! Sell it to me!

Zora looked over and saw it was a man hassling some random woman.

Zora: Hm, she looks familiar?

???: Sorry, but this is a default avatar, it's a converted one...I can't exchange it for cash...

Man: Oh? That sucks.

The girl looked at Zora and walked over to him.

???: I started to think you'd never showed up...

Zora instantly recognized the voice and looked completely shocked.

Zora: What the?! Kirito?!

Kirito: Yup...

Zora: What are you doing here?!

Kirito: Helping you on your investigation...

Zora looked even more shocked that Kirito knew about it.

Zora: Huh?! How do you know about that?

Kirito: I kinda eavesdropped on your conversation with Kikuoka. I was supposed to meet with Asuna at Ginza when I saw you walked into some fancy restaurant so I decided to follow you, and I heard all about Death Gun.

(Flashback)

Sora: Alright fine I'll do it.

Kikuoka: I'm glad to hear it. I'll send the specifics later on.

Sora: Sure...

Sora then stood up and left Kikuoka, and he looked over at the table behind them.

Kikuoka: I take it you heard all that?

Kikuoka saw it was none other than Kazuto as he was sitting behind him drinking some coffee and Kazuto looked at him annoyed.

Kazuto: I can't believe you went and ask Sora for help. You do realize he still in so much pain after losing his sister in SAO, and now you asked him to investigate some murder mystery in some other game!

(Present)

After Kirito explained to Zora, he looked at him annoyed.

Zora: So you were stalking me?!

Kirito: Hey, I'm not gonna let you do this on your own. You saved me in SAO, helped me save my girlfriend in ALO. You helped me clear things up with Sugu, even when your suffering inside. That's why it's my turn to help you. I mean, that's what brothers for, right?

Zora looked at him annoyed before taking a deep breath and sighed.

Zora: Oh, alright! I guess you win. Even though I don't want to involve anyone in this. But thank you for being here, Bro.

Both Zora and Kirito smiled at one another and the two of them fist bumped and the two of them start to explore the new VR games.

Kirito: If we want to get Death Gun's attention, we have to make a name out there first.

Zora: But let's go get some equipment first.

As Zora and Kirito explore the area, they heard some players gossiping about them.

Player 1: Damn, where'd he find that beauty? He must be the luckiest guy in the world! I wish she'd come my way.

Zora smirked and Kirito looked annoyed.

Zora: Congrats, Bro. Or should I say, Sis now? You're now the worlds biggest trap.

Kirito: Knock it off! I didn't get to choose this! Though I wish they made me a little more soldier.

As they were walking, the two of them continued to look around for some weapon shop, but ended up getting lost.

Kirito: We're totally lost.

Zora: Some shortcut, Kirito.

Kirito: Can it! Why don't we as her for help?

Zora saw it was a girl with blue hair, white scarf and green sweater and he nodded his head and the two of them walked up to her.

Kirito: Um, excuse me? Can you tell me where...?

Kirito stopped talking and looked a bit tensed up and Zora looked confused and the blue hair girl looked at the two of them annoyed.

???: Yeah, what? Your first time in the game, huh? And I take it you as well? Where do you want to go?

The girl said while looking at Zora and he just nodded and Kirito looked nervous before he spoke up using a girls voice.

Kirito(girl voice): Yes. It's my first time. We're looking for a place to buy cheap gun. Oh and we also need to find out where the Governor General office is.

Zora looked at him shocked and the girl just smile at them.

Girl: Oh, sure. I can show you.

Zora: Sorry, miss. Can talk to her for a moment?

Zora then grabbed Kirito and whisper at him.

Zora(whisper): What are you doing?!

Kirito(Whisper): It's the best option we have!

Zora(whisper): What are talking about?!

Kirito(whisper): Please! Just...play along!

Zora(whisper): I think it's best if you tell her the truth. If not your gonna regret big time!

Kirito(whisper): Don't worry, it won't. I'll tell her later.

Zora looked at him annoyed.

Zora(whisper): Don't blame me if she finds out about this!

Kirito(Whisper): Thanks...

The two of them turned back and looked at the girl.

Girl: You guys ready to?

Zora: Sure am...

Zora and Kirito then started to follow the blue hair girl and she looked back at them.

Girl: By the way, why do you guys want to go to the Governor General office?

Kirito: We wanted to sign our self up for an event, called Bullet of Bullet.

The girl looked at them shocked.

Girl: BoB? Okay but, the two of you just started playing today, right?

Kirito: Yes.

Girl: Yeah, I don't know. Both of your stats might not be high enough for that...

Zora: Don't worry, we converted. So all of our skill have been transferred from another game.

Girl: If you say so. So anyway, you guys pick quite of a game to play. It's all grimy and stinks of Oil.

Zora: Well, the two of us have only fantasy games up to now. They're fun, but I thought I tried a cyber game for once.

Kirito: We were also interested on what gun battles are like.

Girl: Really? It takes guts to want to start with BoB right of the bat like that. Let's hook you guys up with a gun then. I know this great market. It's down here.

Kirito: Okay!

Zora: Lead the way...

After a few more walking, Zora, Kirito, and the blue hair girl reached the market and the three of them walked in.

Zora: This place is massive.

Kirito: And it looks like this place have everything.

Girl: Yeah well, the two type of weapons that are mostly used in GGO are optical guns and live-ammo guns. An optical guns are more lighter and more accurate, but it has a straw-backs, if your opponent equips their defend shield, it only does half the damage. For one on one tourney like BoB, a live-ammo guns is the best bet.

Kirito: Oh, Okay...

Zora: Right...

Girl: Alright, let's start with your stats, highest one first.

Kirito: I guess my strength is the highest, and speed after that.

Zora: For me, it's a combination of Strength, Speed and Dexterity.

Girl: Your and STR-AGI type, and you are STR-AGI-DEX type, huh? Okay, you guys have two choices for your main weapon. Either a heavy assault rifle or a large caliber machine gun. Which ever one you guys choose your also gonna need a hand gun for a back up weapon. Oh wait a sec, you guys said you just converted over, didn't you? Do you guys have any credits?

Both Zora and Kirito pulled down their menus and saw they only had 1000 credits.

Zora: Let's see...It says I have a 1000 credits...

Kirito: Same for me.

Girl: Everybody gets that when they start, if that's all you have, the most you guys can afford is a small ray gun. And for a live-ammo gun is probably a revolver.

The girl then looked at Zora and Kirito.

Girl: Listen, if you guys want, I could loan you guys a money to buy a gun?

Both Zora and Kirito shook their head.

Zora: On no, that's sweet of you, but we couldn't.

Kirito: I know, does this game have anything in it where a new player like us could earn some money?

Girl: I don't recommend them, but there are casinos and gambling games. Like that one.

Zora, Kirito and the girl walked to the area and saw the gambling game called "Untouchable ".

Cowboy AI: Hey chicken, come on!

Zora: What kind of game is that?

Kirito: And how do you play it?

Girl: You enter through that gate, and go down the ally dodging the NPC's bullet. The idea is to get as close as you can to them without getting shots. If you can touch him, you earned all the cash everyone suck in to it since the last time it was beat.

Zora and Kirito looked up and saw it was at 1,001,500 credits and they looked completely shocked.

Zora and Kirito: All of it?!

Girl: 1,001,500 credits, huh?

Zora: Now that is a heck of a lot of money!

Kirito: Th-That's a mind blowing amount!

Girl: Well no one's beaten it. Once you get 8 meter away from the gunslinger, he switches to this wicked fast-quick-draw mode. By the time you see the bullet lines, it's to late.

Kirito: Bullet-Line?

The girl then got to Zora's face.

Girl: Look, another suckers step enough to add to the jackpot.

Zora, Kirito, and the girl along with a group of players watched the player attempted the game and as he was running, he stopped and did a pose and Zora and Kirito looked confused.

Zora: Why is he doing that?

Suddenly, a shot pass through and Zora and Kirito looked surprised.

Kirito: Was that the bullet-line?

Girl: Yup, is a defenses system assist, we all have it. Accept for a sniper's first shot, bullet-predictions-line always showed up in the targets field of vision.

Zora: You don't say...

After the player got to the 8 meter line, the Cowboy AI turn to his quick-draw mode and the player got shot and lost the game, adding more to the pool.

Girl: See. The ally is so narrow you can't move to far to the either side, and your force to charge the gunslinger straight on. That's as far as anyone gotten.

Zora: I get it now, if I wait to see the bullet-lines it will be to late. A piece of cake then.

Zora then started to walk towards the starting point and the girl looked at him shocked.

Girl:Hey where are you going? He's not serious is he?

Kirito: Nope, he's dead serious alright.

Zora then started to game and the other players all started laughing at him.

Player 1: 10 credits the new beginners get it out of the gate!

Player 2: Let's stick around and watch him get annihilated!

As the count down started to go down, Zora got into position and as soon as the door opened and the countdown hit zero , he sped out the of the gate with an unimaginable speed leaving a gust of wind leaving some of the players surprised.

Girl: So fast!

Cowboy AI: I'll kill you!

The AI aimed his gun at Zora and he saw 3 red lines hit his body.

Zora(mind): So this is the bullet-line.

Zora then jumped out of the way and continued to sped down at the cowboy AI.

Cowboy AI: You loser!

The cowboy AI once again aimed at Zora's head, body and hand and once again, Zora effortlessly dodge it and made his way past the 10 meter mark and everyone looked completely shocked and Kirito just smirk.

Girl: Your kidding?!

Player 1: He past the 10 meter mark!!

Player 2: That is one fast kid!

Cowboy AI: Die you varmint!

The cowboy AI then shot multiple shots towards Zora's whole body and Zora effortlessly dodged it again.

Cowboy AI: Go to hell!

Zora: Looks like someone out of bullet!

Zora saw that the cowboy AI quickly draw out an energy pistol and shot Zora from 2 meters away leaving everyone in the room completely shocked, but Zora jumped out of the way

and Zora landed in front of the cowboy AI and tagged him and won the game.

Zora: Looks like I win.

Cowboy AI: NOOOOO!!!

Money then started to shoot out of the building behind the cowboy AI and everyone other than Kirito looked completely and utterly shocked that Zora won, and Zora collected all 1,000,000 credits and he walked out and the girl and Kirito along with some other players walked up to him.

Kirito: Nice work!

Girl: O my God! I never seen reflexes like that. And that speed and reaction time of yours is insane! I mean, at the end, you dodge his laser from about two meters away! At that range, the time between you seeing the bullet-line and the shot fired, well that's it, there shouldn't be any time between them?!

Zora: Well, since it's a game of dodging bullets. I just predicted the bullet-line. You know, predict the predictions!

The girl and the other players looked at Zora completely shocked and Kirito just smirk.

Girl: You...You predicted the predictions?!

Cowboy AI: Huh?

(Timeskip)

After winning the money, Zora, Kirito and the girl went back to the shop and Zora and Kirito was looking at the different guns.

Kirito: I'm confused of this specs of this assault riffle.

Zora: Not only this thing is ginormous so why is the caliber of the bullets it fires is more than a sub-machine gun?

Girl: I'm confused about how someone like you can dodges bullets like a ghost and not know that? You guys converted from another game, what you play before this one?

Kirito: Nothing special. Just one of those typical fantasy game is all.

The girl gave Zora and Kirito a look.

Girl: Hmmm...so you said. Well during the BoB prelims, I'll get an Idea on what you guys can really do. As for the assault riffle, you wanted to know why it uses a small caliber?

Zora: Sure.

Kirito: Yes.

Girl: It all goes back to the M16 from the US. They design it for precession and  penetrative power, but using a fast small caliber round. You don't need to know that stuff though.

Zora: Actually it's pretty interesting. Thank you for telling us.

Girl: Sure. Now that you got 1,000,000 credits, you guys can buy pretty much whatever you guys want. It all comes down to what you want and what you think will work fast for you.

Kirito: What does work for me?

Zora: I'm sure we'll find something.

As the three of them were walking, Zora saw something that caught his eyes, and it was some sort of handle for a sword.

Zora: What are these?

Both Kirito and the girl look at it and Kirito looked at it with interest as well.

Girl: Oh, those are photon swords.

Kirito: Photon?

Girl: It's a beam of light, that's a way in a particle. Photons swords is the official name, but people call it laser blade or beam saber and something else I can't remember.

Zora: Oh cool. You can use a sword here?

Girl: Yeah, if you want? But nobody really uses them.

Kirito: Why don't they?

Girl: Well I mean, because you can't use it unless your close to your target. And if your crazy enough to get that close, you'll get shot full of holes.

Zora: So basically it's good, as long as you get close enough.

Girl: Yeah I guess, but even with yours skill at dodging.

The girl then looke at Kirito.

Girl: And I'm presuming you could do that as well, if there is a full auto gun firing at you...

As the girl was talking, Zora went ahead and bought two Photon Swords and a little robot came over and gave it to them.

Zora: Here you go, Kirito.

Kirito: Thanks...

Girl: Oh well, I guess when it comes to combat, everyone got their own style.

Kirito: The way I see it, if this place sell something, it must be okay for battle.

Zora: Including this.

Both Zora and Kirito activated their Photon weapons and Kirito had a purple energy blade shot up and Zora was blue.

Zora: Wow...

Kirito: Come on let's try it?

Zora and Kirito then walked over to an open space and the two of them got into stance and the girl looked at them surprised and saw that it look like they're used to it.

Girl(mind): Hey...they looks like they know what they're doing...

Both, Zora and Kirito did the motion for a sword skill, and Kirito did a "Horizontal Square", while Zora did a "Pentagonal Star" and a purple square and a star  shape appeared and disappeared and the girl looked impressed.

Girl: Wow, those are your fantasy game skill? Not bad...

Zora: Oh hey, I wouldn't go that far...

Kirito: But we know some couple of move. But sure is light...

Kirito then went to put his photon sword at his back and the girl looked at him confused, while Zora just deactivated his.

Zora: Wrong game...

Kirito then realized it and got embarrassed and deactivated his sword.

Girl: Well looks like you guys are dead set for your main weapon. But you should have a sub-machine gun or a hand gun in your inventory too. It will distract your enemy, so you can get closer.

Kirito: I see...

Zora: Sounds like a plan...

Girl: How much do you have left?

Zora then pulled down his menu and saw that he only got 700,000 credits left.

Zora: About 700,000 credits...

Girl: Woah...those photon thingy are expensive. You got 700,00 credit huh, still a good amount though. You guys still need to get a protective gears and some kind of weapon and ammo for it. What's cheap but good?

Kirito: I'll trust your judgment with all that.

Zora: For me, if it's for the BoB, a live-ammo should be our best bet. I'll go for accuracy instead of power since we have to get close.

Girl: Nice insight, I was thinking the same thing. And I know just the perfect one for you.

The girl then walked over to the pistol area and pointed at one of it that called " FN Five Seven".

Girl: The FN-57.

Kirito: What's Five Seven?

Zora: I think it's the bullet caliber size.

Girl: Correct. 5.7 millimeters. They're smaller than the 9mm Parabellum bullets, but they still pack a punch. They're similar in shape a rival bullets, so they got the edge and both precession and stocking power.

Kirito: I'll guess we buy that one than.

Zora: You sure know your stuff. I'm impressed.

Girl: Thank you.

Zora: Do we need anything else?

Girl: Yeah, you do. Your gonna need a holster, some extra mag, protective gear, and you should get yourself a defense field, and range time...

Kirito: What's that?

Girl: You guys never fire a gun, haven't you?

Zora: We have not...

Girl: Let's change that.

The girl then took, both Zora and Kirito to the firing range and Kirito and Zora was plugging their ears from how loud it was.

Zora: My ears hurt.

Girl: If you buy a gun from the shop, you can test it here.

The girl then set up a target and both Zora and Kirito took out their pistol.

Girl: Know how to hold it?

Kirito: I guess...

Kirito then aimed his pistol at the target.

Kirito: It's lighter than I though.

Girl: That's cause that model, was made from reinforce plastic. The recoil isn't to bad on it. Still you should gripped it with both hands and keep your left eye open.

Kirito did as she said and a small circle appeared and got bigger and smaller in front where he was aiming.

Girl: So right now, you should be seeing a green circle in your field of vision.

Kirito: Is it suppose to be shrinking and expanding like that.

Girl: Yup, it's called the bullet circle. Your offensive assist system. Your bullets will hit the target random inside the circle.

Kirito: How do I boost my accuracy?

Girl: I guess the easiest way, is to get closer to your target.

Kirito: What else?

Girl: Try to stay calm. The faster your heart beats, the more the circle expand.

Zora: Easier said than done.

Kirito then try to stay calm, and shot his shot, but the recoil hit him and he jumped back surprised and the girl pulled the target closer and Kirito missed his shot.

Kirito: No way, I missed?

Girl: What you expect? It's your first time.

Zora: Well I guess it's my turn.

Kirito stepped back and Zora stepped in and hold his gun and aimed it at the target and he took a deep breath before narrowing his eyes and gripped the gun and the girl looked at him surprised by how concentrated he is.

Girl(Mind): His concentration is amazing. I can feel his drive from here.

Zora then shot all of his bullet, before reloading at an amazing speed and after he was done, the girl bring the target closer and she looked completely shocked that all of his shots were dead center of the head and chest.

Girl: Uh, are you sure that you never fire a gun before?

Zora: That was my first time.

Kirito: He always good at adapting to new environment pretty easily.

Girl: You don't say...

(Timeskip)

After finishing up in the market, Zora, Kirito and the girl walked out.

Zora: Thank you for going your way to help us.

Kirito: Yeah, we really appreciate it.

Girl: No, I was happy to help. And there aren't any girl players here. I wasn't doing anything, so it was good way to kill sometime before the prelims.

Zora just sighed when the girl said Kirito's a girl.

Kirito: Wait, your gonna compete in BoB too?

Girl: Uh huh. I was on my way to sign up, before...

The girl then looked at the time and was completely shocked to see that they only got 10 minutes left.

Girl: O my God! Their closing soon!

Zora: Really?! I'm so sorry. This is our fault that we're late.

Girl: No, it's mine for not keeping track of the time.

Kirito: Then let's get moving!

The three of them then started to run to the Governor General office.

Zora: We're never gonna make it. Can we just teleport over there?

Girl: I wish. But that only happens when you respawn at the revival point after you die. And we can't suicide ourselves to get there either, cause in town our HP never goes down. The Governor General office is at least 3 kilometers away. This gonna take us 5 minute to sign up, so we have to get there in 3 minute. Come on...don't close. Don't close till we get there!

Zora and Kirito started looking around and the two of them saw a buggy up ahead and the two of them nodded.

Zora: That's it!

Zora then grabbed the girl's hand and pull her towards one of the buggy and put the girl in the back seats and Kirito got his own buggy and the two of them started it up.

Kirito: Alright!

Zora: Here we go!

Zora and Kirito then started to drive the buggy at high speed and drove into the highway.

Zora: Better hang on!

Girl: Wait a sec! These are suppose to be ridiculously hard to drive?! I don't know anyone could handle them, so how could you can?!

Zora: I have a motorcycle in real life, so it's not really that hard for me.

Zora started to drive between cars, driving past them and the girl was holding onto him, with Kirito tailing behind them.

Zora: Are you okay back there?

Zora looked back and saw that the girl was smiling.

Girl: Yeah, I'm fine! This is great! Go on! Punch it! The faster the better!

Zora: Yes Ma'am!

Zora started to go faster as he speed through the cars in front of them and after a few minutes, they reached the Governor General office.

Zora: 5 minutes to go!

Girl: We have to hurry! This way!

The girl, Zora and Kirito then ran up to the building and both Zora and Kirito was looking around at the players that were around.

Girl: Hey come on!

Zora(mind): I wonder if one of these guys is Death Gun?

Girl: Here we are.

Zora, Kirito and the girl reach the sign area.

Girl: This is where we have to sign up for the tourney. It's a typical normal touch panel interface. Think you guys can handle it or do you need some help?

Kirito: No we can figure it out.

Zora and Kirito then went to the terminal and started to sign up for the tournament and saw that they were asking him if they want to put their real life address and name and info and Zora skipped it and signed himself up.

Zora(mind): There is no way I'm putting my personal information. Even if it's the top prize!

Girl: You guys done yet?

Kirito: Yes, we're all done.

Zora: And thank you so much for all of your help today. And sorry for all the trouble.

Girl: No worries. That crazy ride on the buggy made up for it. Anyway, which block did you end up in for the prelims.

Zora and Kirito looked at the blocks that they were assign to and found their names.

Zora: I'm on F. F-37.

Kirito: I'm on E. E-45.

The girl then looked at Zora surprised.

Girl: Oh, I'm in F too. Number 12. That's kind of a cool coincidence huh? When do we meet though? Oh good, we're not gonna meet up until the finals.

Zora: I'm not sure what you mean? Why is that good?

Girl: If a player makes it to the final bracket on the prelims, it won't matter if they lose. They'll automatically advance to the battle royal. That means all three of us have a shot at advancing to the battle royal. As long as we make it to the last bracket.

Kirito: I see...

Girl: But, if we do meet at the final bracket at the prelims, I'll be playing to win.

Zora then smirk at the girl.

Zora: That makes two of us. If we both make it, no holding back!

After signing up, Zora, Kirito, and the girl then got to the waiting room for the qualifiers and they walked in and both Zora and Kirito saw all the different players.

Zora(mind): Where are you death gun?

Girl: We're gonna go change. You can go change at the boys waiting room.

Zora: Right...

Zora didn't pay any attention as he continued to focus on the players and the girl bring Kirito to the changing room before Zora realized something and looked at the girl.

Zora: NO WAIT!! He's a...

It was too late as the girl brought Kirito to the changing room and he just sighed.

Zora:...boy.
