Epilogue

The Lord smiled in satisfaction as he heard the prayers coming to him from the bottom of his servants' cave. His gift of the cave and all its potential had been well received and used to it's very fullest, enabling Him to reach those who had been unable to hear His message for so many years.

"They have succeeded," the Lord said to his challenger, Satan. "I have won our wager. My faithful have stayed true to the message of faith they were tasked to bring."

"Not so fast. Unless you intend to take them now, to deprive their children and their families of their wisdom and support in the years ahead, our wager is still in play," Satan said.

"I will not take them ... not yet. They will continue to serve me well for the rest of their lives. Their families will need their support in the coming years, as they meet their own challenges and continue to grow in faith. Until such time as others have matured enough to take on their role, it is my will my servants shall continue for several years yet," the Lord said.

"And until you bring them home, the game is in play," Satan said. And he commanded his allies to gather around, to consider the next move they would make.
