Dick's POV

It has been 8 years since my bestfriend died protecting me with her life.

Her name was Y/n L/n.

She has been my bestfriend since i met my Adoptive Father. She has suddenly showed up one day and in that moment i realized i liked her as a crush but when she came over to the manor often..

She became my first love...

She has been with me through thick and thin.

She would protect anyone of us in the League.

She fighted along g side me and the young justice as the vigilante named (Hero name). And she was hell-Amazing.

She would be here when i needed a combat buddy.

She has been here when i would argue with Bruce about a childish thing.

She has been here when i would dream of my past life

And she was here when.... I would find new lovers.

Yep... i would get some girlfriends from time to time because at that time Y/n had a boyfriend that really loved her like i do.

So i tried to move on but... i just couldn't.

She was my light and my Rock.

She was the person i could count on.

She trusted me with her life but... I wasn't fast enough I couldn't reach her in time.

Author's POV

The raven haired male found himself floating in a dark abyss with a blurry figure floating towards him.

When it became clearer he found that it was his bestfriend wearing what seemed to be her funeral dress..

"Y-Y/n? I-I thought you..." the man couldn't say anything further for the h/c haired female cut him off with a heartbreaking question he has ever heard.

"Dick... Why didn't you save me?"

"Y/n i-i trie-" he knelt down looking at her from above like crying to the Gods.

"Dick did i mean nothing to you?" The young girl started to cry and bleed her eyes out.

The young lad tried to touch her but she slapped his face... Hard.

"Am i just a stranger? DICK!!" She had a demonic voice in her tone then suddenly out of nowhere was a black hole underneath him and The dark haired male started to fall into the infinite dark abyss.

He tried reaching out but he just couldn't.

*Dream Ended*

The raven haired jolted awake and sweaty as he dreamt of his dead friend again for the 9th time this week.

He Stared at his sweaty palm as he cried silently with his hand over his mouth and wiping his sweat.

"Dick baby? Are you ok?" The lady in bed with the young man said while sitting up and rubbing his broad muscular back.

Britney Samson...(oc)

Yes. She was the new girlfriend or rather Fiancé of the well known Nightwing but she doesn't know that he was a vigilante.

They have been dating 3 years after Y/n's Death.

They met in Gotham High when The First Robin was depressed for her death.

They are very sweet to each other, Yes, but Dick never saw it that way at all, he just sees Britney as a slut who wants to be Dick's girlfriend because if his money and good looks.

'Well who wouldn't?'

"Y/n wouldn't" the young man thought quietly as remembered what she said to him.

*Flashback*
"Y/n why do girls just like me for my Father's money and looks? Don't they like my personality?" The young raven haired male said to his bestfriend who sat beside him while patting his back.

"Oh come on Dickie-bird... they are just like that because they are a bunch of sluts who wanted to get banged on since kindergarten." The beautiful young girl beside him said while laughing at her own joke.

It did lighten his mood but he was still sad.

"Oh Dick." The young girl took the male's bigger hands on her small frail ones. And kissed his cheek. That took the ravenette by surprise and looked at the petite young girl with a slight but noticeable blush on his handsome face.

"They don't deserve you, you are a lovable, handome, dorky, and funny boy that loves gymnastics and acrobatics, who is also the boy wonder" she whispered rhe last one quietly as she continued. "They may not see the boy i see but, you can show it to them and prove them that there is something behind every beautiful face" the young girl finished as she smiled at him lovingly like a big sister.

"Thanks Y/n you are the best" he said lovingly at her but she never noticed

"I know i am" she saud cheekly."

*Flashback Over*

The young man suddenly shook himself out of his daydream and looked back at his new girlfriend.

"Oh Babe, yes. I am ok i just... just had a bad dream though. I fine just go back to sleep love." The Former Robin said while kissing his new lover on the forehead and putting the blanket on theirselves again as the Young man wrapped his slender arms around the other female.

The Next Day

The raven haired male woke up feeling like shit was dumped on him as he walks to the bathroom.

He starts his normal routine like every single day of his miserable life without her.

But little does he know that something special was going to arrive any second now.

As he was done taking a nice long shower he walked to his wardrobe and found that a pair of delicate arms wrapped around his torso.

"Babe were where you? It felt so cold without youuuu" Britney said whining more than usual. This what annoyed the shit out of Dick sometimes.

His new Girlfriend would be very.. and i mean very CLINGY.

I mean even if he tries to do his business in the bathroom she would constantly start banging on the bathroom door and beg him to let her in and see what he was doing in the bathroom.

"Britney babe im just here I won't go anywhere anyway. I have a day off."

He tried to reason out as he finally dresses up and heard a faint knock on the door.

He quietly cheered as he heard the faint knock that saved his life from Britney.

"Dick you have to see this." Said Tim as he pulled his older brother to the front doors.

"What did you want to show me Tim?" He said as his girlfriend trailed behind him.

He looked behind the figure of his little brother to see a friend he never saw in years.

"Y-Y/n?" He stuttered out as he hesitantly walked close to the small figure but went there anyway.

"Dickie-Bird!" The young girl suddenly tackled the male into a hug as the young make also hugged back.

He started ro tear up as he took in the familiar scent that he missed and loved so much.

He broke the hug and looked at her top to bottom and hugged her again.

This time the petite girl broke the hug and smiled at him brightly.

"Y-y/n how are you alive?! I saw you die in the explosion in the warehouse?!" He said in a sudden shock.

Thats right the last time the girl was seen was in a mission of the young justice to infultrate Scarecrow's Diabolical plans... but instead of a grat mission. It was an ambush.

*Flashback*

"Oh no its an ambush! We got to get out of here fast!" Kid Flash said as he speedily started to knock ot some of the goons.

It was a fierce battle between the young justice and the Goons.

"Ack!" Robin said as he was hit by the goons by suprise.

"Robin!" Said the hero in a skin tight-spandex.

She immediately went to protect her bestfriend from danger.

"Hahaha! It seems like you have fallen into my trap! You stupid league! Now to make this fun let end this with a BANG!" Scarecrow said as he held up a bomb.

The league started to panic but had a straight face.

Once Scarecrow clicked the button to sttart the cont down for the bomb the league started to exit the warehouse but only one remained.

Megan had been caught on a rock and she went unconscious.

Since H/n was the last one to almost get out she helped Megan first then gave her to Kid flash.

She then whispered to megan when she almost gain conscious again.

"Protect him for me..."

Kid flash then left with Megan

After they left it was to late the bomb exploded.

Robin saw this and kneeled to the ground, with teardrops falling down his face as he saw his bestfriend die.

He started to loose his mind.

"Y/n!!!!" The league tried to hold him back but he just keptpushing then away.

"Y/n no please! I need you! Y/n!!!!" He shouted as he tried to get out of the League's grip, after he calmed down the League let go of Robin and started to cry.

"I... love you...." he whispered very quietly for no one to hear.

*Flashback ended*

The boy started to remember the tragic happenings but shook it off because she Was finally here with him in his arms again.

"Oh um you see... Dickie-Bird I had to fake my own death to protect you from... Them..."

"Faked your own death? W-why? Did you know how it felt to see your own bestfriend die?!" He said angrily but kept calm.

"I needed to... I- I didn't want you all to suffer what i have caused...." she said and started to stutter And breakdown.

"They said they will Use me to infiltrate the Manor and find out who the real Robin was and murder him." She said as she tried not to look into the ravenette's eyes.

"Y-y/n you could've told me or the League." He said as he caressed her cheek.

"I didn't want you or the guys to get hurt." She said as she stopped crying and just looked at his beautiful blue eyes.

And same goes for the young man.

"Ahem" they suddenly got out the trance and looked at a blonde who looked very pissed.

She suddenly pushed the h/c-ette haired girl aside and hugged her boyfriend.

"Um i don't really know who the Fuck you are but would you please stop being a slut and hands off my Boyfriend!!" She said as she faced the petite girl and gave a threatening a look at her.

The petite girl also gave an intimidating glare and folded her arms.

The brown eyed female that was hugging the male got scared and let go of him and huffed then walked away to Her and Dick's shared room.

"Let me guess new girlfriend?" The young girl said as she looked up at her bestfriend.

"Um Fiancé actually.." he said sheepishly.

"What?? When? How and why?!"

"Ughhh this is going to be a long day..."
The raven haired male said as he started to catch up with his long lost bestfriend that he has missed so much.

*Timeskip*

It has been a month since Y/n revealed that she was alive and still the same girl that Dick had love.

And right now. They were sparring with swords at each other and for the first time Dick was winning.

Dick finally tackled Y/n to the ground with a sword pointed at her and her sword behind the ravenette.

"I win" he said proudly

But the girl had other plans.

She kicked Dicks legs and caused him to fall back and lose his sword.

Y/n got back her Sword and sat down on his stomach smirking down on him pointing her sword on him.

"Nope, I win"

Dick smiled at her and Y/n then stood up and gave her hand for him to take and lift him up to his feet.

"Ha! I win again!" She said childishly while sticking her tongue out for Dick to see.

"I just let you win." He said not admitting defeat.

"Yah sure!" She said giggling at him.

"Come on don't tell me you have a new Girlfriend Dick!" Said Jason as he crossed his arms and leaned in the door frame.

"Ha ha very funny Todd" Y/n said as she went to the changing room.

"By the way Dick... I just wanted to tell you that your Fucking Slut of a Fiancé is cheating in you." He said as he folded his arms and looked straight at his adoptive brother's eyes.

"What? That can't be.. I know Britney can be annoying sometimes but she can also be very kind." he said as he removed his training outfit and wipe his sweat.

Actually the ravenette already belived his brother he just doesn't want to admit it because he's hurt.

"Dude its true! When i was patroling and i saw your Slut for a Fiancé having Sex with another guy."

"Ha ha nice joke Jay but thats not going to work on me." He said convincingly while hanging his towel around his neck.

"Don't say I didn't warn yah pal." He said while going out of the training room and go back polising his gun collection.

The raven haired male just arrived from his nightly patrol around the city with his Adoptive Father, brothers, and His bestfriend

He went to his and Britney's shared room and heard alot of moaning and and skin slapping.

He hesitantly reached for the door nob and opened it to see Britney some other guy having sex on their bed!

"You son of a whore!" He shouted as he went over to them.

"Dick your home early" Britney said nervously.

"Britney im so disgusted with you." He said looking at her straight into her eyes.

"Dick i-i can explain I- um" she stuttered and tried grabbing his hand but he slapped it away he averted his eyes away from her and pointed to the door.

"Di-dick honey- I- he-" The blonde tried to say.

"JUST FUCKING GO AWAY!" He snapped at her.

The two whores ran away after they dressed up and Dick sat on the bed looking down at his feet with his bangs covering his eyes.

"Dickie-Bird? Are you ok?" Said the young female trying to comfort her bestfriend.

She also sat on the bed him rubbing his back in a circular motion.

"Y/n, Do you love me?" He said not looking at his bestfriend.

"W-what?" It took her by suprise.

"I said if you love me." He said it again but more sternly. The young man lost hope in your answer.

He suddenly stood up and tried to go but the petie girl prevented him by pulling him in a hug on his back.

"I-i do... since we were kids actually.." she said completely embarssed.

The former Robin looked surprised at what he just heard. He thought he was dreaming.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He said sounding calmer while grabbing her chin and letting her look up at him while caressing her cheek lovingly while towering over her.

"I- i thought you didn't like me back so i tried to move on- be-because i- i know- im just a friend to-" she started to stutter looking down on her feet and cry she also started to bawl her fist.

She was cut off by a hand holding her chin up to look at him and pair of chapped yet soft lips kissing her passionately.

She realized it was Her bestfriend, No, her lover. So she kissed him back.

They pulled apart and pressed their foreheads against each other lovingly staring at each other.

"Your so cute when you ramble, that's why i love you so much" he said as the young girl was shocked by his words.

"Why would you love someone as ugly and careless as me?" She said sounding insecure about herself feeling a bit sad.

She started to have tears on her eyes again but Dick kissed it away.

"I love you for who you are and thats all that matters" he said looking at her lovingly as the girl started to smile again and started to kiss again.

Extended Ending

"Pay up Demon Spawn! I win!" Said a rather happy Tim with a grunting Damian reaching for his back pocket getting his wallet and a smirking Jason as he quietly closes their bed room door and saying the words i would never hear him say.

"I Fucking ship it!".
