Chapter 13: The Landlord Coalition;

"Stop right there." A man's deep voice came, sure enough, from the wall where Gong Pildu sat with a magazine.
"Take another step... and you're dead."

Dokja, was slightly shocked, impressed.. suspicious...
There he was, Gong Pildu, and you knew exactly where he was, who he was...

'[Name]... just how much do you have up your sleeve..?' you heard him think. You could tell by the tone that was inwardly smirking.

'More than you Dokja, that's for sure..'

"I haven't seen you around before," Gong Pildu said, unbothered as he continued to read his magazine, "you've got quite the nerve."

"Why should I be nervous when I'm just here to do what needs to be done?" Dokja responded.

"Oh? A smartass I see! Don't get too cocky!"

Gong Pildu started to stand, prompting you to make sure Hyunsung kept the kids away from the green zone before stepping in to join Dokja by his side. Dokja sweat dropped nervously as he looked at Gong Pildu's character profile.

"Oh? Another?" Pildu directed his attention to your form.
You simply nodded and Pildu rightfully assumed you were with Dokja.

"Well? What business do you have with me, it doesn't look like all you're going to do is pay me. You better not be thinking of doing anything crazy, if you know what I mean," he said while eyeing the sword on Dokja's hip.

"Now, now, Mr Gong, what else could a tenant ever want from a landlord? We want a room," you said smoothly. "A room?"

Dokja nodded.
"Yes, let me and my friends stay in your green zone."

You grew slightly nervous as you remembered that instead of the story's original group of 5 people, you had a group of 11...
You worried there wouldn't be enough rooms.

"No. We don't take tenants who aren't apart of the Landlord Coalition. Unless.. you want to pay 500 Coins each, daily."
Dokja's jaw clenched slightly behind his smile.

"We can't afford that... instead, we can pay you in intel," your partner side-eyed you. It's like he wanted to test if you knew what he did.

And you did.

You put on your best smile as you looked at Gong Pildu and the man sweat dropped.
'I feel like I'm about to be scammed...'

"We have intel on Yoo Joonghyuk," you held up your hand to command people to stop their ruckus before it even started as you continued to talk, "we are companions, my partner and him have been through life and death."
You leaned on Dokja's slightly smaller form as he smiled with you.

You inwardly sighed as the scene continued, 'I just want to collect another ancient power...'

"Whether you believe us or not, you've got nothing to lose," Dokja said.

Gong Pildu leaned forward and looked up at you both, as he activated his skill. 
Ding!
[Gong Pildu has activated the skill Calculate Profit, level 2.]
"I do have something to lose."

You inwardly sighed again as he started talking, now should be the time when he activates the turrets and makes a big fuss...

Dokja started to turn away, "Well, if you say so. It's your loss."

This is when you spoke up, wanting to avoid unnecessary conflict

"Before we leave," you held out your hand, offering him to shake it.
As Gong Pildu shook your hand, you transferred over 5,000 Player Coins. "Your payment, good sir," you slyly smiled at him before walking away to join Dokja.

As you both started walking away, Yoo Joonghyuk came along with Lee Jihye, doing as he did in the novel and pointing a sword at Gong Pildu which made him let you go, even though he was already letting you both go..

'System.' you called in your mind once your group had settled down, you were looking at your phone to remember the next scenario and what happened during it.

'Hm... The Fire of Destruction is definitely closest. I'll go there with Choi Han, Ohn, Hong and Greeney just for good measure since this place was never mentioned in the novel.' You quickly looked at your phone to search up the walking distance, deciding when you'll have to leave.

'5 minutes?' you deadpanned as you saw the screen displaying the walk time. 
'Are you sure....?'

"[Name]-nim," you heard Choi Han call from behind you.
"Mh?"
"Are we going somewhere again?"

"Yeah. After we finish the Third Scenario, we're going on a little trip outside."

The black-haired kid nodded before your clothes were tugged on by the nameless child, you had momentarily forgotten about them..

You didn't know any of their attributes or skills, you didn't know how strong or weak they were; therefore, you didn't know if they should come with you or stay with Dokja and Gilyoung..

You sighed and picked them up before turning to Choi Han again, "go get Dokja and the kids."

'Honestly, this feels like a family meeting...' you sweat dropped slightly.

Kim Dokja was on your left while Choi Han and the nameless child were on your right, clinging close to you and Ohn, Hong, Greeney and Gilyoung sat around in front of you both, creating a circle.

"Dokja, you have your plan for the Gong Pildu, don't you?"
The man beside you sweat dropped but nodded slightly. You knew he was suspicious, but you'll just say you have a future sight ability, which you technically do.

"Then, as you carry that out, I'll bring Choi Han and a few others with me somewhere."
"Where are you going?"
"Somewhere close, we'll back in no time," you answered vaguely as possible.

"[Name]-nim, are we deciding who will be going with you?"

You nodded at Choi Han's question.

Hong immediately volunteered, "appa! Appa! I wanna go!"
"Are you sure?"
"Mhm! Mhm!"
"Alright then."

Beside you, the nameless child also timidly spoke up. "Me too..."
You pat their black and white hair lightly, "Greeney, Ohn, Gilyoung?"

"I'll stay with Dokja-appa," Ohn said. Gilyoung and Greeney nodded along with her.

"Make sure to bring me good food when you come back!" Greeney said, exposing their sharp teeth as they smiled widely. It was a surprise to you how Greeney became so humanoid in the short time you were with them, but you didn't question it.

As you eight finalised your plans quickly, a notification caught your eye.

You sighed inwardly at the amount of notifications coming from the Constellations.
