Your POV

You jump to your feet and took a second to comprehend the Devourer as it reared back and lunged. 

A flash of metal and a clunk of something large appeared in front all of us. 

The Samurai X suit was holding the Devourer back from a bite with a lampost. 

"Samurai to the rescue. Again." Jay groaned.

"Its breath smells worse than Cole's chilli." Lloyd commented from the Samurai.

"Hey!" Cole shouted, seemingly offended.

The Great Devourer swings its head around, smashing into buildings and all that stuff.

"Get out of there, sis!" Kai yelled to the Samurai.

"I can't! I'm stuck!" Nya said.

No kidding. If Nya let go, she would fall straight into the Devourer's mouth.

You spotted the Ultra Dragon swooping in from the sky. It hits the Devourer from behind. It looked kinda cool. Four heads is cool.

"Rocky! Our dragons are back." Cole exclaimed.

"It appears Dragons go through a metamorphosis when they reach adulthood. They too have found their True Potential." Zane said.

"Ha! They couldn't have come at a better time. Go get them, Rocky! Go!" Cole shouted, jumping up and down like a child.

You turn your attention away from the dragons (dragon?) and onto the Devourer, who was still a little stunned.

Shard's head shot some ice at the Devourer's neck.

"Ice!" Zane yelled.

Can this get any more... cringe?

Fast forward the rest of the elements. You could see the Devourer getting more stunned and angry, which was both a good and terribly bad thing.

Bad, because the Devourer swung its sharp tail at the dragon. Somehow, it managed to land the hit.

"NOOOO!" The ninja shouted.

You sigh as the Ultra Dragon disappeared.

"What now?" Nya said.

You hear someone coming and turned around to see Lord Garmadon.

"You came back!" Lloyd said, surprised.

"Give me the weapons. I am the only one who can handle the power of all four weapons at once. It's the only thing that'll defeat the Devourer." 

Scratch that small sense of warm surprise in your body. He came back for the weapons?

"Uh, I thought we were supposed to do everything in our power not to let him possess the weapons." Jay said, frowning.

"I've ran every other scenario through my servers. It appears to be the only way." Zane replied.

"It's still not a good idea." You mused.

"What else are we supposed to do?" Cole shrugs.

"Give me the weapons." Garmadon repeated.

"Kai?" Zane looked to Kai for confirmation.

"Only I can destroy it. Or prepare to watch-"

"Quit your yammering and just do it." Kai tosses his Sword of Fire to Garmadon. "When you have a chance to make the blow, it has a weak spot near his forehead."

Jay was the only one still holding his Weapon. He hesitates as he gives Garmadon his nunchucks. "Uh, I don't think this needs to be said, but we're gonna need these back."

"No kidding." You muttered.

"I'll do my part. You just make sure he stays in one spot." Garmadon chuckles and runs off.

"I don't trust him." You said after a second.

"Stays in one spot? Stays in one spot!? How are we supposed to do that?" Jay goes full panic-mode again.

"Don't forget: we're ninja." As Kai said that, the others nodded and ran off to their own spots. "Come on, you overgrown worm. Take the bait. Come and get me!"

You sprint off in the opposite direction Kai ran to as the Devourer chased him. You had no idea where the others were, but saw the tail of the Devourer curled around a tall building. 

You hear a loud roar and hiss, signalling the Devourer nearby. You spot the Ultra Dragon diving behind a building.

Using a couple shields, you gain high ground about fifty feet in the air. The Ultra Dragon suddenly swooped down and over you, disappearing behind a building with Kai, Jay, and Zane on its back.

The Devourer was slithering straight towards you at a high speed, extremely angry now.

You use a boost from your shields to jump straight over the Devourer's head as it charged to you. The heavy momentum on the Devourer's speed caused it to run its jaw into its own tail, getting it painfully stuck.

You land on the Devourer's back and nearly rolled off until you grab the edge of a large scale.

"That was lovely." You said, slowly sliding off the side of the body. You use another forcefield to make a soft landing and went to the where the other ninja were.

"We did it! Now, where's Garmadon? He's not gonna hold on for much longer." Cole said.

"Look!" Lloyd points to the top of a building. The sky speedily gets engulfed in dark clouds as Garmadon was on top of the building, holding all the Weapons.

As he jumped off the building, a purple energy light was released from him.

The power of the Weapons combined slammed on top of the Devourer's head, right on the little weak spot. A loud explosion echoed and the Devourer's body exploded, leaving sticky bright green venom all over the place.

"He did it." Jay mumbled.

"No, we did it!" Cole corrected him.

"Did we, though?" You asked no one in particular.

You were trying to wipe some green slime off your clothes as the ninja approach Jay's parents.

"Ooh, our little ninja." Edna said.

"Hey, there you are, you big lug." Cole pets the Ultra Dragon. "It's good to have you back."

"I don't see my dad." Lloyd says, looking a bit disappointed.

"He should be around here somewhere." Kai said.

"Your analysis is incorrect. He is not here." Zane said after a moment.

"Then our Golden Weapons are gone too. Well, isn't that convenient?" Cole grumbles.

"Look, his footsteps." Nya commented. It was imprinted in the green slime and on the road.

"I have a feeling you'll see your father again soon." Kai said to Lloyd, patting his head.

"I know, but that's what I'm afraid of."

"Ah, Sensei Wu!" Cole exclaimed.

"Ha! Would you look at that! He survived!" Jay's expression lights up like Christmas lights.

"I'm surprised he didn't get digested." You said, slightly amused. Nonetheless, you were grateful for his ability to survive weird circumstances.

"I can't tell you how glad I am to see you!" Wu said, passing his teapot to the ninja. "The Devourer left a bad taste in my mouth." He sips a cup of tea. "Ah. Much better. And still hot."

"It's good to have you back, uncle. But my father left and he took the Golden Weapons." Lloyd said.

"Ah, very true. The ability of the weapon is truly great, but the ability to better oneself makes you limitless." Wu said. Oh, he's back to spitting out random wise phrases. 

"I couldn't have said it any better myself." Jay replied.

"True."

Jay rolls his eyes at you.

"Besides, we have what is most important: you." Kai gestured to Sensei Wu.

"The pupils have become the masters." Wu muttered.

"Am I really gonna have to fight my father one day?" Lloyd asked him.

"One day. But today we can feel good that Ninjago is saved, for tomorrow you will train for the day. Good will finally face evil and a final outcome will be decided for all of time." 

"Uh, but don't worry. We're gonna teach you everything we know." Kai reassured the little boy.

"And make sure you're prepared for that fight." Jay added.

"Because as we all know, good will always stand up to evil." Cole said.

"And ninja will always stand up for what's right."

"Go, ninja, go!" They all said.

"I'm so done with this." You facepalm, but couldn't help but smile.
