The Snape's House

>POV SARAH<
I woke up today early than usual. I can finally go to dad's old house! I've never learned a bit of history by the name Snape, so I can't lose this opportunity, but I guess I have enough time since vacation lasts 2 months! Rose told me their whole family is going to Alaska for awhile, and Albus with his family on Hawaii. I don't really envy them, I already got my family here at home. "Sarah! Eat breakfast first!" dad shouted from the kitchen, I raced Silver downstairs without missing a step and landed down first.

"Hah" I teased, I was wearing my Hippogriff-feather necklace, but Silver just rolled her eyes. "Morning, dad" I greeted him as I sat down the chair opposite. He handed me a fresh plate of omelette and began to eat, tbh I really like dad's cooking! Then I ran to my room, brought my wand and cloak then put it on. I remember Albus telling me "Dad always said to bring a wand in case. Even dementors can attack you whenever and wherever." His voice came to my head, I don't miss him that much, but it's pretty lonely being an only child. I walked down the alley with my muggle clothes on, and looked at the old house. At first it reminded me of the Shrieking Shrack, but it couldn't be haunted, can it?

As I went in, the house was really dusty and dark. "Lumos" I whispered, so the muggle neighbors won't hear me. I walked around the house but flinched as I stepped on a loose wood making it screech. I'm a pretty brave kid, but I get a bit jumpy at certain moments. After I walked around the place, I brought out my bag and pulled a broom, not the flying one, and other muggle cleaning supplies I found at dad's house. I sweeped the floors clean, dust some bookshelves and even spotted a cute tiny spider that waved at me, to be polite, I waved back.

But as I entered a room, my jaw dropped... this was dad's room. But it looks so, dull and dark, well, not really surprising if you met my dad for the first time but you know what I mean. I stepped around and sat on his bed, I almost tripped as I saw a large box. Well, ladies and gentlemen, if you see a box, you have the temptation to open it, and thats what I did. I sighed in relief when there was no dangerous animal or boggart inside, but an album and what muggles call it, photographs or polaroids. There were some that moved and some that didn't. "Hmm?" I said as I grabbed the album, I read the cover, that said Property Of The Half-Blood Prince. Where, when and who did I hear that name again? I can't remember. I flipped the first page. There was a picture of a dark long-haired boy with black robes, and a red-headed girl wearing a beautiful green dress. "Who is this?" I asked to myself absent-mindedly and continued to flip the pages. There were pictures of them smiling goofily that made me laugh, and I noticed that each page shows them how they grow older and older. But the pages stopped with photographs when there were no more until there was a label of 5th year.

Wait... Half-Blood Prince... Long-dark-haired-boy... A red-headed girl... 5th year... And a Lily pressed at the end of the book... this was dad!! I knew it! And this must be Lily Potter! I somethimes thought to myself on how she can be so mean of not forgiving dad, after all he did apologize at least a hundred times... But if nothing of this happened, I guess there will be no me, or Harry Potter, or Albus, maybe even Voldemort will still be alive!

I sighed as I dropped unto a sofa and searched the box with the other things. I was so busy searching when dad Apparated from the house to behind me. "Sarah..." he said in a silky voice, just like what I said, I was a bit jumpy and fell down to the floor due to the surprise. He giggled as he pulled me up, hmph the usual attitude... But I'm alright with it.

>POV SEVERUS<
I stared at her eyes while she joined me in the laughter but I noticed she was holding something. The laughter died and I read what was on top of the box. Half-Blood Prince... she's been searching my box. "Oh! Sorry dad-" she apologized, but I gently took the box out from her hands and opened it. I'm supposed to be angry at her for snooping without any permission, but how can I? Yes  curiousity killed the cat, but it led the cat's life into an adventure too. "It's alright. I see you've found my box..." I said, she eyed me weirdly, I guess she was expecting me to strangle her to death or something.

"You're not angry?" she asked, I put a stray strand of her behind her ear and smiled. "How can I?" she smirked at me and looked around my old bedroom. "You used to sleep here?" she asked, spinning around and landing on the bed goofily. "Yes. But not the paradise I believe..." yes they can say that you're bedroom is the best place on earth. But our house had really thin walls causing me to wake up every night when my parents started to argue.

I was a coward basically, and behaved well, but they still gave me hatred. Lily, always cheered me up, I visited them, since my parents won't really want any visitors in the house and we'll stay under a tree as I read and she'll keep on making some flowers float in the air. Lily...

But thats enough, I'm happy with Sarah now and I know she'll never be mad since I know she isn't a muggle-born. I just want Sarah to have a childhood that isn't like mine. "Can I show you downstairs? I'd clean the house." she suggested and pulled me down the stairs. My mouth was gaped as I saw the dunpster was all clean and tidy. "Are you sure this is the right house?" I joked, she laughed at it and sat at my armchair. "I love being occupied. Boredom is not really my type" she told me, I sat opposite of her and smiled. "You are a one-of-a-kind witch, aren't you? Even as the daughter of the Dungeon Bat." I said, and stood up. "Care to join me for Butterbeer down the street?" I asked her politely, she acted like a lady and laughed. "Of course" and we both had fun drinking our Butterbeer.
