Rachel's POV

"Ross, last night was amazing but-" I smile, taking both of Ross's hands in mine.

"But.." He sighs, avoiding eye contact by staring down at his feet.

"Last night was amazing but, I don't want to rush things with us. I love you, very very much Ross but I think we need time to rebuild the foundations in our relationship." I squeeze his hands. Abruptly, his head jerks up with a huge grin on his face.

"Rach, thank you so much. I love you so much! As long as we are together, I will do anything, I promise!"

Then a pretty, short haired brunette walks into central perk, I don't take any notice to her at first, but when she strides up to the counter to get some coffee, Ross's eyes widen.

After retrieving her coffee, she spins round and her eyes light up. She comes running over to us, he perches on Ross's lap and takes his head in her hands and kisses him softly on the lips.

"Ross! Last week you said you would call!" She playfully hits him.

My heart shatters into a million and one pieces, tears gather in the corner of my eyes threatening to fall at any second.

"Wait, you saw her last week?" I gulp. Ross just stares at me blankly.

"Yeah, why? You must be Rachel right? Ross has told me all about you."

"Really? Cos he's never said anything about you."

"Oh.. Well I'm Chloe. Surely he must have said something! I'm his girlfriend. I hope his isn't too weird for you, Ross told me about you two." She smiles.

"Of course not, not too weird at all." I smile though tears are running down my face at a fast pace.

"Anyway, I'm gonna go, I have a few errands to run. Nice meeting you Chloe."

I grab my coat from the hanger and run to a nearby bench and collapse on it. I cry like a baby for at least fifteen minutes. Literally like a baby, screaming and getting red in the face.

What did I do to deserve this?
