Fadepaw woke up and slowly opened his eyes, seems like he was still use to waking up early. As he could not go to sleep Fadepaw just got up and headed out of the den. 

he was excited for today, why? because his mentor was gonna show him the territory and possibly tell him more about the warrior code. 

Fadepaw was becoming excited as an apprentice, he noticed that Oakpad was awake and headed over towards him "so when are we gonna head out?" fadepaw asked.

"eager one aren't ya" oakpaw replied amused "first go get yourself something to eat then meet me at the entrance" "ok" as fadepaw went to the fresh kill pile.

fadepaw realized he had never ate a mouse. he became nervous to bite one well you eat what you gotta eat and he picked a good looking mouse. 

setting the mouse down he took a bite out of it and cringed expecting t to taste bad. fadepaw did not expect the juiciness, flavor, and tenderness, it was good. 

not long he was stuffed full of mouse and then head headed towards the entrance like his mentor told to meet. fadepaw was ready to learn about this new culture.

Oakpad lead fadepaw to a sandy clearing "thing is the sandy hollow, this is where you'll be learning you fighting skills" next he lead fadepaw to a giant tree.

"this here is the great sycamore, it has great hunting places" oakpad explained "first lesson: the roots of the tree are great places to hunt as mice like to get under them"

fadepaw absorbed the information like a sponge forcing himself to remember it. Oakpad walked past the great sycamore and pointed to a pile of rocks.

"over there is called snake rocks im guessing you can tell why as to the name" fadepaw nodded knowing why it's called that. but it seem to be a good hunting spot.

shadepaw's POV

my new mentor then lead me to a road? "sniff the air, what do you smell?" I sniffed and instantly regretted it. It smelt horrible! is this what animals smell of gas from the cars.

"oh it stinks!" 

"yes as you can smell, this is the stench of monsters" oakpad explained, then out of no where a car came flying by. it startle oakpad as he was not expecting it. 

I was however unfazed by it "do you mean a car?" 

"whats a car?" he asked "that thing that just drove by, y'now the monster you call it". oakpad just looked at me in surprised. suddenly a flash caught my eye. 

I head over to it and see it as a deformed metal plate, my breath somehow became heavy. I looked around and things started to become familiar. 

"hey, you ok there" my mentor asked noticing my breathing, I walked past him a little further up the road. There was metal scraps, burn marks, and even cut pieces of caution tape. then i realized,

this is where I died.

I started having flashbacks of that night, the lights, the pain, the adrenaline, my body, it was almost too much. my mentor came up from behind and placed his tail on my shoulder.

"hey whats wrong" he asked reassuringly "this is where I died" i whispered. He gave me a confused face "i don't understand"

"I was driving on this road and another guy or two leg was not looking where he was driving, my car crashed into that tree and there I dies then saw my body. later i woke up and that's when I realized that I was a cat" I explained.

as oak was thinking a cat came out from the bushes on the other side of the road "aha! do't you think you can go unnoticed, we know what you'll do stealing our prey!" it hissed.

"look we don't want trouble i'm just giving a tour to my apprentice" Oakpad tried to explain. the cat looked at me in disgust "just so you know, thunderclan is not welcomed here!" he threatened.

who did this cat think I am, I was ready to castrate him but Oakfur held me back "you cannot go over there" trying to stop me "why not let me at him!"

"it's against the warrior code"

 I ceased trying but still glared at the other cat "you can't hunt or trespass onto another clans territory" he explained. 

"fine" 

oakpad said we were done for today and we both headed back to the camp.

3rd POV

as both entered the camp, oakpad was deep in thought of what fadepaw said was he really a twoleg? or a human as he called it? 

"go take some fresh kill to the elders and queens first before you eat, why is that?" fadepaw didn't know and looked at the ground shamefully. 

"one of the warrior code is that the clan goes before you so the slder, queens, sick, or injured cats get fed first" fadepaw nodded in understanding.

oakpad dismissed his apprentice and headed towards Hailstars den. fadepaw collected some fresh kill and gave them to the gueens and elders getting thanks in return. 

he was liking the idea to becoming a warrior
