━━━━━━━

She's beautiful, he thinks as he watches her. It's hot and cramped and the music's playing too loud, but Harry isn't paying attention to that. Harry watches from the side as Taylor jumps around, messing her hair around and waving her arms. She's never been more carefree than in that moment and Harry just watches lovingly, as giggles escaped her lips filling the room with a tune Harry wished he could hear every day. She catches his eye and crooks a finger towards him, playfully beckoning him to her and Harry can't refuse her, it's not something he could ever see himself doing.

When he reaches her, she pulls him toward her, and for a moment, Harry thinks she's about to kiss him. Instead, he feels her hot breath tickle his ear and it makes him shiver slightly, the alcohol apparent in her voice. "You haven't danced with me at all, you've just stood there smiling like an idiot." Taylor pulls away, smiling at him slyly and Harry laughs grabbing ahold of her arms swaying with her. She bubbles up with laughter and it's like energy to Harry, just watching her makes him feel alive and her touch sends shocks through his body. He thinks it's dangerous, to love someone like he does with her, but he decides not to care because if he lets her go, he fears he might die.

"I'm dancing with you now, aren't I?" He whispers into her hair and the smell of alcohol is pungent, swirling their thoughts into a series of unrelated words. He pulls her closer to him and he's suddenly afraid that she can hear the hammering of his heart in his chest. Taylor's too intoxicated though, all she can think about is the music and her feet. She wants to shake her head every which way and just feel the music course through her veins. When Harry dances with her, she calms down in his arms and is able to pull herself together enough not to embarrass herself in front of him. Taylor loves him more than anything but she's afraid to completely give herself to him, knowing there's always a chance he'll just throw her aside like every person before him did. Tonight, though, she let go, and now she's completely fearless.

The music gets tiring too quickly and Harry runs out of ideas to make her laugh even though it's obvious that Taylor would laugh if he even just smiled at her. Everybody continues to dance but Harry has a better idea and he drags Taylor along by the hand, smiling widely as Taylor continued to pester him with questions. When they step out of the house, it's a completely different environment, the air's a little clearer and everything is still, except for the music that faintly plays behind the closed door. Taylor's eyes peek at him through the dark night, sparkling with curiosity. "What's happening?" She shivers slightly in the cold air, wrapping her arms around herself but Harry leans closer to engulf her in himself, surrounding her in his scent. Taylor relaxes quickly, snuggling into him.

"I thought we could do something else than just dancing, s'all." He states simply, resting his chin on her head. And for a long time, they just stand like that, arms wrapped around each other, Taylor's face in the crook of Harry's shoulder with Harry's chin on her head, both of their eyes are closed, relishing the moment. Harry's the first to pull away, though Taylor's reluctant to move from their current position. He brings her pale hands up to his lips, kissing each finger gently, making her laugh as she complained about being ticklish. Harry laughs, swiping his curls off to the side before lacing their fingers together and bringing her out into the open street. "C'mon, darling! Let's sing!" Harry shouts out, bringing his arms out into the open and Taylor just giggles again.

He just smiles wider and begins to sing any song, the first song he has in mind, which this time is We Are Young by Fun. Taylor shakes her head, before joining him, their voices creating a perfect harmony. Too soon, they get lost in each other's eyes and their loud, clear voices turn into mumbled lyrics meant for only one other person. Harry's determined to keep Taylor singing however, and begins to sing about anything, words just flowing out of his mouth in a tune he doesn't recognize.  Taylor laughs too hard and has to bend over, clutching her stomach but soon she joins him, linking their arms together while skipping down the neighborhood.

Wide grins are plastered on their faces and silly lyrics to silly tunes are being sung, their voices don't waver however and it's heard clearly. Neighboring people are shouting for them to quiet down but the pair just erupt in giggles, quieting for a moment before launching back to their loud melodies. Their fingers stay intertwined the entire time and sometimes their walking patterns are off from the alcohol but they always pull back together in the end. Each time Harry glances at her, he's breathless, even with beads of sweat along her hairline, even though she's breathing heavily from straining her voice, even with all that, he thinks she's the most beautiful person he's ever seen. She's incredibly drunk right now, so much so that she probably wouldn't remember any of the events that just surpassed. But Harry doesn't mind, because he knows that when the sun finally comes up, she'll still be in his arms and to him, that's all that matters.
