The fight between the heart and the mind,

Which one has the right to win?

The mind tells me to be clever,

The heart tells me there is no need to be,

It is simple run after the one you love,

Run away from the ones you hate,

The stars tell me everything is going to be alright,

The situations spark that starts the battle within me,

Listen to yourself my heart says,

Listen to the society my mind says,

Who should I listen to?

Like two directions, my life decisions has split into two,

The never ending fight between the heart and the mind,

I fall on my knees begging them to stop,

Turn off emotions, turn off desires,

If it was possible to stop the heart and the way mind,

I would have done it a long time ago..
