i looked in awe at the being in front of my eyes before known as Oscar,in the place of his eyes two blue orbs constantly flickering looking straight at me

"pray tell me kind sir what are thine name  ?"

"eh...Alexandros"

he looked  me and said with calm in his voice 

"its a pleasure meeting you Sir Alexandros,i see by my appearance you saved me from Death  and so I swear solemnly to be your ally"

and saying this he drew his sword and leaned it to the ground and crouched with his face also looking at the ground

"eh...ok first Oscar i think you need to know something"

he looked at me with a questioning look and said

"what is it Sir ?"

"actually it was Death who saved you"

and i pointed to my left and Death gave a small wave with her hand,Oscar looked at her and said 

"i thank you miss Death for saving me"

then he looked at me and said 

"now please tell me what are you ? "

i looked at him and said 

"i'm a Vampire"

"a Vampire huh i thought your species were all extinct"   

he looked around seeing the massacre around us and then he looked at me 

"Sir Alexandros I need your help,as you know the Blackstone legion attacked us looking for the tome of black magic known as the dark chronicles i've made a promise that i would protect the chronicles so i ask you this: please help me find it and keep it safe"

i looked at him for a moment and said 

"okay i will help you"

a smile appeared on his mouth and he said with joy on his voice

"i thank you Sir Alexandros i know it was the right choice to serve you"

he grabed my hand and started shaking and i asked as he let go of my hand

"okay Oscar when was the last time you saw the chronicles ?"

"well the last time i saw it, it was on the castle we've locked in the castle vault behind king Aundrey throne so i think we should look there first"

"okay Oscar lead the way to the castle "

he gave a nod and said 

"follow me,if i am right when we cross that threshold we will reach the castle"

we started walking in the middle of the corpses some of them were without they're helmets and i could see they're all tennagers barely out they're eighteen i hope you all find peace brave souls 

(Oscar P.O.V)

Alexandros was silent I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw him looking at the corpses of my fallen brothers and i said to him

"Sir, what's bothering you ?"

i asked him already knowing the answer

"is that the most of this soldiers were teenagers they barely could hold a sword they would not stand a chance against the legion "

we stopped for a moment and i looked at him with sympathy on my eyes

"i can ensure you Sir,these boys don't have died in vain they have joined the army to protect their families i know these because i was one of them you needed to see how proud the king was to see introducing us in the barracks so don't worry they have found peace"

Alexandros gave a nod and said

"i hope"

and we continued walking when we crossed the threshold i could see,the central square and the castle of King Aundrey the proud ruler of Ushteinheim 

now looking like the castle have been destroyed two hundred years back,i looked back at Alexandros 

"Sir the castle is right there let's go"

but then i stooped in my tracks when i saw it 

(Alexandros P.O.V) 

i gave him a nod and said 

"let's go then"

we continued walking throught the central square and the moon was already high in the sky but then Oscar suddenly stopped, i walked to him and I saw it why,the massacre that the Blackstone had done,corpses of women,children and old thrown on the ground like leaves they're blood looking like rain on the ground and Oscar said

"they're the ones who didn't reach the castle in time" 

it was then that i felt it my chest burned,my mouth hurt,my eyes widen and in my mind only one thought remained: I needed blood but i pushed that feeling aside when Oscar asked me

"Sir Alexandros are you alright ?"

"uhh yeah is that im starting to feel the hunger,i need blood"

"Sir stay calm okay you can win over this hunger,fight it"

I took a deep breath and closing my eyes i calmed myself i took another breath and opened my eyes,i looked at Oscar and said to him

"i'm okay we can continue to the castle"

he looked at me and said

"you're sure ? you can sit down if you need rest"

"no i'm okay really we can keep going"

"okay Sir,let's keep going"

we continued walking and a thought keep lingering on my mind 

"why the Blackstone are looking for this chronicle and have this really happened to Willindorf ?"

and then Death said throught my mind 

"Alexandros stay calm okay,we need to focus on helping Oscar to find the chronicles,after helping him we can check on Willindorf"

"Okay thank's Death"

"err...your welcome"

i was about to ask what was wrong but i putted it asside because we have reached the entrance and we saw that the front gates have been  overthrown and were lying on the  hall and Oscar said 

"by the gods"

we continued walking throught the hall and Oscar said

"the throne room is throught here in the end of the hall"

suddenly rain started to pour into the hall throught the holes in the ceiling thank the gods that my armor protected me from it's acidic touch and the moon was showing her glory iluminating the hall and Oscar said 

"you Blackstone dogs what have you done to this house ?"

it was then i heard,voices coming to our direction and i said to Oscar putting a hand in his shoulder to halt his moviment

"Oscar we must hide,NOW"

and i runned to a door on the left side of the corridor and Oscar followed me,we hided inside a small room and i looked throught the door frame and in that moment a platoon of Blackstone soldiers passed in the hall the leader of them was a lawbringer with a ornament on his head and he was been followed by two captains with  great swords  and a hand full of common soldiers

then the Lawbringer leading them turned to one of his Captains and said to him

"Varlax,one of our scouts told us that a soldier have entered the vilage one hour ago,no one can interrupt the meeting of apollyon so i want you to take the platoon and a few more soldiers and go investigate"

"yes sir"

Varlax said and take the platoon and returned throught the hall remaining only the Lawbringer and the captain until a warden came throught the hall and said

(Warden)

"Comander Gabriel,Apollyon is asking for you the meeting is begining"

Suddenly Oscar said with a small voice behind me 

"Apollyon is still here"

i looked at him and make a "shush" so they would not find us then Gabriel said

"okay thank's Julius"

he looked at the Captain and said 

"Hector go to the square with the rest of the platton to help them"

Hector looked at him and said 

"yes sir"

he gave a small bow and started to run to the entrance and Julios and Gabriel walked away,i looked back at Oscar and he said 

"Sir Alexandros,Apollyon is the bitch who leaded the attack on this place,she is the Warlord of the Blackstone Legion"

"so it's better we tread softly by the looks of this commotion there must be others platoons,we must continue to the throne room,let's go"

i looked at the both sides of the corridor to see if anyone was coming but no one was in sight i opened the door and we continued walking throught the hall the rain have stopped and the moon was high in the night sky until we reached the door to the throne room,Oscar was about  to open it when i halted him and said

"wait i'm hearing voices from the other side"

i walked to the door and used my Vampire senses to see inside the room and i could sense a lot of heartbeats inside,i turned to Oscar and said to him 

"if we walk throught here we will be dead"

we looked around and there was a stair leading to the second floor and a door that leaded to the throne room and i said pointing it

"there,we can use the stair to enter the throneroom"

Oscar looked at it and said 

"Okay let's go "

we walked to the stairs and started climbing it when we reached the second floor we walked to the door and opened we crouched down and enter when we reached the middle of the passageway we looked down and there it was in front of the throne,Commander Gabriel and the Warlord Apollyon herself

 and in the middle of the room was a group of Blackstone Soldiers,they'were looting the treasures from the vault and Apollyon was speaking with three....individuals,one of them was a giant skeleton with horns on his head and glowing red eyes and a rusted armor and behind him was two skeleton soldiers as his bodyguards: one  with a knight armor with the visor of his helmet opened showing the skull beneath with two horns on top of it and in his hands he was holding a sword and shield and the other was a knight too but without his helmet but with a hood covering his head and a black armor and he only had a sword

the second was a female lizard it looked like a Argonian,she looked like she was in her twenties with red eyes and yellow iris and  with a helmet with red horns in the top  and a black hood covering the sides of her face and she was wearing a few pieces of armor the most notable thing  was on her left arm, it was a gauntlet with two blades coming out of it 

behind her were three Argonians one of them appeared to be her second in comand and the other two were simple soldiers, the second appeared to be a tough guy he was at her side behind his back a sword was strapped and a few pieces of armor strapped on his body with his arms crossed over his chest and his yellow eyes fixed on Apollyon he was like a hawk watching his prey,watching every movement she made,the other two were behind the woman the one on the left was with a shield and a spear with a metal armour and a collar of bones around his neck and the other was with two swords sheathed only with a  line of leather that crossed his chest and closed at his waist where the swords were guarded 

(her Second in Command)

and when i looked at the third member of the group the color of my iris became red with bloodlust in that moment i wanted to jump down and drain him of his blood,that red armour with horns on it's head and on it's shoulders:the Nemesis

and on it's back was the sword that drained the life of my father ,the Soul Reaver

i should have known that bastard would seek help,my mouth ached with antecipation for his blood but i was taken out of my trance when Oscar called me with a small voice 

"Sir let's get more close so we can hear what they're saying"

i gave a nod and we started walking more close to them,we were  almost  on top of them when the voice of the Argonian boomed in the hall,all the soldiers had stopped what they were doing and were now looking at them and she continued

"HOW DARE YOU ?.WE HAVE MADE A DEAL YOU SAID IF I HELPED YOU TO CONQUER THIS MOUNT OF RUBISH YOU WOULD GIVE THE TREASURES TO ME AND NOW YOU SAY TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT RAID AND THE WORST PART IS THAT YOU THINK WE CAN ATTACK WILLINDORF AND SURVIVE"

Apollyon only give a sight and said

"you worry too much Nem-ra,we've have conquered half of Nosgoth without much resistance this castle is the proof of it"

"I WORRY TOO MUCH ? THIS VILLAGE IS NOTHING COMPARED TO WILLINDORF,WE WOULD LOOSE HALF OF OUR ARMY BEFORE WE CROSSED THE RAMPARTS AND IT'S  ARCHERS WOULD PICK US APART"

i was right they were truly planing to attack Willindorf so the Reaper was lying so that means Vitoria was  alive but still in danger i needed to tell her so that she could rally the defenses, suddenly a black portal opened and from the inside came a figure Black as night with two yellow glowing orbs for it's eyes with two blue fireballs on it's hands and a axe attached on his back and the most interesting thing it was that he was...floating 

he looked at them for a moment and said with a ghostly voice to the Argonian called Nem-ra 

"what troubles your mind Nem-Ra ?"

i was looking at that creature in front of them,is he the Mastermind behind all of this ? was he the one trying to topple the pillars ? i stopped my thoughts when he said while putting his feet on the ground and walking to the front of the throne and looked at her

"i see,you're afraid of the battle"

and Nem-Ra said with anger in her voice but without shouting

"are you calling me a coward ?,i the great general Nem-Ra conqueror of the kingdom of Jeruvia and countless others,you know better than me,Willindorf is impenetrabel,i don't know what you're gonna do but i will not send my soldiers to they're death beds"

the shadow looked at her for a moment and said

"are you certain of that ?"

she looked at him for a moment and said 

"all the certainty of the world"

and he said while shaking his head

"what a shame"

and with a flash of his hands he send a wave of black energy towards her and her followers stucking them on the ground and he said

"i will not let the plan be fooled by you, i will obtain the relics and if you're not gonna help me then you are my enemy"

then a Blackstone soldier came to then with a book on it's hands  saying 

"Commander Apollyon we've found it"   

and Oscar said with terror on his voice 

"oh no the chronicles,Sir Alexandros they can not take'it,we have to stop them"

he was about jump down but i hold him and said

"Oscar wait look"

we looked at then,the shadow took the book on it's hands and he said

"finaly,with this chronicles we will be one step closer to fulfil our destines,and now Nen-ra your life have run it's course"

Nen-ra looked in horror at him and began to struggle against the magic and the shadow said

"struggle is futile Nen-ra no one can escape it's destiny"

then he looked at the skeleton and said 

"Joachin"

he gave a nod and raised his sword i looked down and saw a Blackstone stopped under  the balcony,i looked at Oscar and said

"it's time Oscar,let's go" 

he gave a nod and we jumped down 

(Apollyon P.O.V)

it was sad really she is a great commander but Sheep don't belong among Wolves the skeleton named Joachin was about to strike her down when a scream erupted from the middle of the throne room,we looked at the source of the scream and i see a man latched  on one of my  soldiers whith his mouth on his neck,i keep looking at him and said with surprise on my voice 

"a Vampire"

(Alexandros P.O.V)

oh the sweet blood,the screams,finaly the hunger have subsided but i was still not satisfied the hunger would only go away when the Nemesis would be death at my feet and his blood deep into my veins, i looked at them the terror in their eyes,i wiped the blood of my mouth and said 

"Let's dance"

and I unsheathed my sword  and shield and Oscar  unsheathed his Sword
