After finishing their work at Minghao's house, they went to the police station for interrogation. As he entered, he saw Mark there.

"Hey Mark." Jun greeted him.

"Hi. How's the case going?" Mark asked.

"We actually made some progress considering what we did in hours. What about you?"

"Oh we are done with the case, Mr. Wu's team was already more than half-way done with the case by the time I joined their team today. They just needed my help for some things which I did for them which made it easier for them to solve the case." Mark said.

"Obviously you will, who are we talking about here.. Mark Tuan!" Jun exclaimed and to response, Mark flipped his non-existent long hair.

"Oh by the way, Chief asked me to join your team for this case." Mark said as he remembered what the Chief said.

"Oh that's great." Jun said.

"Ok, so is the work for today done so that we can discuss what you have gotten so far?" Mark asked.

"No, not yet. We still have one interrogation to do today and after then we should be finished." Jun stated and then he proceeded to summarize the case for now.

"The one we are interrogating is the victim's bestfriend named Lucas. We are interrogating him about the suspect named Minghao. Lucas, Minghao and victim named Yuqi are really close friends. I will give you details later." Jun said which made Mark thinking.

'Minghao.. why does that name seem familiar?' Mark thought.

This train of thought was broken by a figure entering through the doors.

"Sir, you have called me?" That figured asked.

"Yes. Welcome Lucas. We had few questions about Minghao so we called you here." Jun said.

"Oh okk.." Lucas said.

"Let's go to the interrogation room." Jun said and both Mark and Jun took Lucas to the interrogation room.

There were 1 table and 4 chairs surrounding the 4 sides of the table. Lucas and Jun sat in front of each other and Mark sat to the right edge of Jun's chair (left edge of Lucas' chair).

"I want to make this short and simple because the sun is already about to set now and I don't want to be working with citizens at night." Jun stated at first to which Lucas nodded. Mark opened his small notepad to take notes of this conversation.

"Ok. So I need all information about Minghao's ex-girlfriend and what is her connection with Yuqi and this case." Jun asked straightforwardly.

"Minghao's ex-girlfriend's name is Shuhua. Both of them know each other since birth. Both Minghao and Shuhua went to the same school till middle school and that is how Yuqi and Shuhua knew each other. Shuhua and Yuqi are pretty close. I would not say she is close to Shuhua as much as she is close to Minghao but still they really great friends."

"Minghao asked Shuhua out during their first year of high school. They both shared mutual feelings so they started dating. That is when I came to the scene. Shuhua was a kind person. Both of us did not really talk that much because she was not a talkative person at all but out of the words we shared, she was really a nice person."

"However, at the second year of high school, she had to move to a different school. Shuhua's family were switching houses so she had to move from the place that she had been living since she was born, but it was in he same town and not that far away from Minghao's house so she still met him every single day."

"Minghao really loved her so much. Obviously, he did because he cared for her A LOT. They were a really strong couple. They gave gifts to each other, shared all different emotions, barely had arguments that went too far. They were like made for each other couple.

"However, there was this one situation that brings us here now. Shuhua suddenly distanced herself from Minghao. She stopped going to Minghao's house to hangout with him. She stopped talking/texting Minghao. She comeplely distanced herself from Minghao. When asked, she said she wanted some space. Minghao being the love blind he was, he gave her space without asking the reasons. 3 months.. 3 months he gave her the space she wanted. Those 3 months are the worst 3 months that I have ever seen from Minghao. He was not being himself at all. He was daydreaming the entire day, barely ate anything, barely talked to us. We were really worried for him. So was Minghao but he was worried for Shuhua. After those 3 months, he could not take anymore. He went to talk to her." Lucas then took a drink of water that was placed on the table. After he took the drink, he continued

"He went to her doorstep to ask what the reasons that he should have asked her before giving her the space. She then accused him of cheating on her. Which made no sense because we know him. He loved Shuhua so much. There wasn't a moment where he thought or spoke about Shuhua and cheating on her does not even come in her dreams. He tried so hard to convince her, he tried to talk to her, get her to know that he did not cheat on her but she was not listening. We know how much Minghao tried. Even Yuqi and I went to her house to talk about this situation but she was not listening at all, and what could Minghao even do when the other side is not cooperating with at all? He gave up on her."

"He also himself slowly started to take our all her memories that he shared with her. It was really painful watching Minghao during that time because it was all his memories that he shared with her since the start of his life. Some things he burned, some he threw in the trash. We all knew that Minghao still wanted Shuhua. Even though he was burning everything, he still had a slight hope that she will be back in his arms. And with that hope, he once again went to her house. But before he could talk to her... s-she left the world." Lucas ended.

"What?" Mark exclaimed. He did not expect it at all. Jun on the other hand was just listening carefully.

"How did she die?" Jun asked.

"Murder." Lucas said.

"What? I don't remember a name Shuhua being said in our station." Now this is a shock to the two policemen.

"I think she was registered after her second name." Lucas mumbled.

"Second name?" Mark questioned.

"Yeah. Both her mom and dad wanted to give her different names so she has 2. Shuhua was the name her mom gave." Lucas said.

"And the name her dad gave was?" Jun asked. Lucas took another drink of water before saying..

"ChengXiao"
