(Y/N) POV

Our friends just left the hospital. Interacting with them and catching up with their life's really took it out of Neo.

"Come on, let's get you to bed," I say as she rubs her eyes.

"Carry me," She says holding her arms out

"What?" I ask her as she giggling

"Can you carry me please...I'm too tired," she says as I smile a little.

"Ok, fine," I say, making it sound like an inconvenience.

In reality I've been carrying Neo around a lot.

She refuses to use a wheelchair, it doesn't affect me much though...she's light as a feather.

I picked her up princess style and she snuggled up into my chest

So warm

I can't help but feel warm inside after giving her mind a glance.

I haven't used my semblance a lot on her lately...there's no use nowadays.

Kelly wasn't here, it was dark out so she decided she would take our friends to the bullheads to make sure they got there safely.

We reached her room and I set her into her bed gently.

"We are alone in here right?" She asks.

"Yeah, I think so," I say looking at the door. I look back at her when I saw on one in the room

I was met with a kiss when I looked at her again...that sneaky girl.

I didn't pull away... It felt nice. My heart flipped as she opened her eyes and pulled away.

"Is that all?" I ask as she smirks and pulls me in again.

We separated after a couple more with blushes on our faces.

"So I'll ask...does this mean we are going out?" I ask her. I think we both knew the answer, but we haven't flat out said it yet.

"I wouldn't mind," Neo says, smiling ear to ear.

Her smile...it's so pure...so innocent.

Her small smooth face makes my heart start beating rapidly every time I look at her...I love this girl

I love this girl a lot.

"Sorry to interrupt, but may I come in?" A familiar voice at the door says as I break my glaze from Neo and look toward the direction of the voice.

Ozpin stood in the doorway resting on his cane.

"Ozpin, nice to see you," I say as a smile comes to my lips.

Although Katherine wasn't the one who woke Neo up...I have no doubt that she gave Neo her voice back.

For that alone, I'll be eternally grateful for Ozpin.

I didn't waste any time.

I stood up and did a little bow in front of him

"Thank you, Ozpin...i'm sorry I haven't been able to thank you before now," I say as he laughs

"That's fine...I hear Neo has gotten her voice back," he says looking at Neo.

"Yes, I have," she says, answering him herself.

"That's wonderful," he says looking at me.

"If you don't mind, can I take (Y/N) for a couple hours?" He asks the both of us.

Me and Neo transferred confused looks.

"Sure, Neo was about to go to sleep," I say as he smiles.

"Wonderful, I'll be waiting outside the hospital when you're ready to leave," he says.

I watched him walk down the hall and disappear from my vision.

"That was....a little weird," I say to Neo as she shrugs

"I'm sure it'll be fine," she says

"Maybe this relates to Indigo?" I mutter

"Possibly, you better not keep him waiting," Neo says as I nod

"Yeah, I shouldn't," I say as she smiles.

I couldn't resist.

I walked up to her and planted a kiss on her lips before I left

"Be safe," she says as I laugh

"What's gonna happen? Ozpin goes crazy and kills me...I think I'll be fine," I say as she giggles

"Good point," she says lying down in her bed.

"I'll be back later tonight," I tell her as I leave

"I love you," she whispers to herself. I don't think she intended me to hear it...but I did and it almost made my heart explode.

"I love you back," I poked my head back into the room as her face turned a shade darker than the pink side of her hair.

I exited the hospital and Ozpin was waiting

"Let's go," he says as I nod.

We walked maybe 5 blocks away from the hospital before he spoke again.

"I'll have to apologize in advance," he says as I look at him with curious eyes.

"What do you mean?" I ask him as he looks at me with regretful eyes.

"I'm afraid you'll never see Neo again," he says. I funnelled my brow as he raises his cane

What is he doing? What does he mean by that?

The cane suddenly thrusted forward and nailed me right between my eyes

I saw some stars before my vision was completely filled with darkness.

Indigo POV

I watched Katherine carefully as she sorted through a bunch of bottles

"You are good kids, you know that," she says suddenly...I look around the room for more kids...but she's talking to me.

"Why am I tied up? What is so important to Ozpin that he will capture me," I say as she stays silent.

"You can't be much older than me, how are you and Ozpin connected?" I ask her. She lived a month away from Beacon...I can't see her and Ozpin seeing each other much

"I'm a lot older than I look," she says looking at me with sad eyes

"Believe it or not, I'm actually older than Ozpin," she laughs as I look at her confused

"I can't tell you much more then that...or Ozpin will have my head after the ritual," she says as I'm even more confused

"You guys keep saying Ritual...what is that?" I ask her as she looks at me bittersweetly.

"It's kinda like what I did with Neo...it's semblance," she says

"My semblance is the ability to transfer things between people," she says.

"I can also fiddle with things inside bodies as well," she says

"Reason why I called her to help your friend...also the reason why I was able to give her voice back...I hear she is doing well," she says as I focus on her.

"So what does (Y/N) have to do with this," I ask her

"Do not tell Ozpin I told you this...I like you so I'll enlighten you a little," she tells me

"Mind reading is a really handy trait...Ozpin wants it," she says as my brain starts working overtime

"What does that have to do anything?" I ask her

"I can transfer things from one person to another," she repeats as it clicks.

Ozpin is going to take (Y/N)s Semblance.

"What will happen to (Y/N)?" I ask concern filling my words

"Normally I can transfer body parts with no issue, someone needs a kidney. Transfer and both survive," she says

"But a semblance is different...I don't know how to explain it...but it doesn't have a physical form in the body...it more as if part of a soul," she says, leading me to a conclusion.

"So when I transfer a semblance...I need to rip the soul apart," she finishes.

"And I'm sure you can guess what happens when a soul is ripped apart," she says

"They die,"

(Y/N) is going to die
