I'm What?!?!

This story uses female pronouns and feminine descriptions, if you want other pronouns feel free to comment and I will.

You had just gotten back from the training run of your life, Steve found out you could fight with strength only matched by him, Bucky, Carol, and Thor and decided he was going to spar with you. That wasn't the issue, you were fine with fighting him, you liked the challenge your size difference gave you and his face when you managed to pin him. The issue was that you had school work to do and teve wouldn't let you do it so you were freaking out because you needed to do school work and he had you in the gym minutes after you were back to the tower, not letting you go until well past 7:00 pm. When you had gotten back, showered, changed, and had eaten it was minutes to eight and Thor was talking to the other original six while they all sipped their respective versions and strength of alcohol, Nat sipping straight up, Russian vodka like it was water, Clint enjoying beer, Tony sipping 200 year old scotch in a crystal glass like the boujee AF man he is, Steve and Thor both nursing glasses of Asgardian liquor, you couldn't tell which version Thor brought this night, Banner drinking a martini. You found where you left your school books on the counter only to find that Mjölnir was on top of it.

"Thor, your hammer's on my school stuff." You complained, yelling over to the lounge where the six sat.

"Too bad, I'm talking to the older people over here." Thor responded.

"C'mon, Odinson, I have an assignment due tomorrow that's a huge percentage of my grade!" You huff.

"If you need it moved so badly, move it yourself." Thor responds, you know he must be tipsy and drunk because he rarely acts like this, he's not that rude.

"Well, what the hell." You mumbled to yourself, knowing there was nothing to lose. You take a deep breath and grab the handle of Mjölnir before lifting it. You were surprised by the lightness, but also the imbalance of it, it was really weirdly weighted. Before you knew it you were floating in an orb of lighting and electricity as your loose, oversized hoodie and old, loose, shorts became an Asgardian outfit fit for royalty.

"Thor, you're gonna wanna see this." Nat says, her jaw dropped and eyes wide in shock, just like the others that could see you, Thor on the other hand happened to be facing away from you.

"See what?" Thor questioned, turning around in his seat to see you wielding his hammer as you slowly were lowered from your floating electricity orb and back to the ground where you stood, also in shock.

"Thor, what's happening to me?" You asked, your voice unstable and confused, terror pumping throughout your veins.

"It can't be." Was all Thor said.

"What's that supposed to mean? What the hell is happening to me?!?!" You repeated, fear more prominent as you got no explanation.

"You're worthy." Again, was all you got from Thor.

"No shit! I can tell that, but this didn't happen when Steve lifted it, or Vision, so why me?" You question again.

"Because they're not Asgardian." Was his response, again puzzling you, you aren't either. You knew you were adopted as an infant but you were from earth, your powers came from an accident at an old job of yours.

"I'm not either, I've grown up on Earth my whole life." You argue.

"That may be true, but tell me, (Y/N), who are your biological parents?" He questions, the question leaves you at a loss for appropriate words.

"I've never met them, they died before I was born, or at least that's what my parents were told." You tell him truthfully.

"Exactly. You and your adoptive parents were miss informed. Your mother is a woman named Valkyrie." Thor explains.

"Okay, so who's my dad?" You question, pissed he won't just tell you.

"(Y/N), I'm your biological father." He simply states, causing everything your life was built on come crumbling down.

"Fine, so you're my dad, this Valkyrie, is my mom. Why didn't I have powers until the accident?" You question, barely scratching the smallest area of the surface of the millions and billions of questions that were brewing in your mind.

"I believe it was because of your upbringing on Earth thinking you were human. Earth's atmosphere is different than Asgrad's, people from either can breathe on the other, but there are different elements in Asgardian atmosphere that don't even exist here, not to mention you were brought up thinking you weren't a god and didn't have powers. If you didn't think or know you had the powers you would've never learned that they're there at all.

"Okay, that's all cool and whatever, but what do I do know?" You question, the one question you wanted an answer to the most.

"Well, first we got to Asgard and let you meet your mother and your brothers, and we'll give you a tour, teach you about your life, your family, let you see where you come from, and then we can go from there." Thor lists out, you nodding along, the prospect of taking a trip to your 'home' terrifying but making you happier than you can imagine being, more than you'd ever thought was possible.

"Okay, I'll follow you." You say, knowing that the bifrost existed and that it was how Thor got from Asgard to Midgard or whatever and back, but not knowing how it worked.

"By, see you another time." Thor says, waving to the six original Avengers and nodding to you to signal for you to follow him.

Time skip to when you get to Asgard.

"Heimdall, meet my daughter, (Y/N)." Thor introduces you to the tall man with yellow eyes and the aura of someone who's wise and powerful. You could tell he was trustworthy and wise just by looking at the way he stood and held himself.

"Ahhh, nice to finally meet you in person, I've been watching you across the realms for years." Heimdall responds, you're taken aback by what he says.

"Child, it's okay, Heimdall sees all, that's why he's in charge of the bifrost. He's also one of the most trustworthy people I know." Thor explains, making you much less freaked out and worried about the stalker-ness of Heimdall.

"Nice to meet you." You add, he smiles, mirroring the hugely wide one that hadn't left your face since you found out Thor was your biological dad.

"Come here, my daughter, I want to show you the most beautiful sight I've ever seen." Thor says, laying a guiding hand kindly on the small of your back and leading you to the opening of the bifrost globe and shows you the landscape of Asgard.

You just stood there, staring at the landscape in awe and love, you'd finally found home. You couldn't even find syllables to describe what you were feeling, there was nothing in your mind or body except complete and utter love and a warmth that could only be described as perfect. Before you knew it, or even had recovered words you found a small blonde blurr and someone who looked only a few years older than you came running toward you and Thor, mostly Thor.

"Daddy!" The smaller one exclaimed, jumping into Thor's arms, Thor catching him easily and hugging him tightly.

"Father! You're home early!" The older one exclaimed, hugging Thor on his left, careful to avoid the small blonde on his right hip.

"Hey, my sons." Thor responds, pecking the top of both their heads.

"Sons?" You uttered, suddenly finding your ability to speak once again.

"Ahh, yes, how could I forget. (Y/N), these are your brothers. Mothi (Mode-ee), and Magni (Mag-nee), Mothi and Magni, meet your sister, (Y/N) or her birth name, Torunn (tour-in)." Thor introduces, pointing Mothi out as the older and Magni as the younger, you wave silently, suddenly feeling out of place.

"I never thought I'd see you again after the accident." Mothi utters, his face showing you just how shocked he really is.

"Daddy? Why does she talk different than us?" Magni looks up at his father and questions.

"That's because she got stolen from us and grew up in a different place where they talk in a different accent than we do." Thor explains.

"Oh." The small boy responds.

"I can't believe it's really you, it's been so long." Mothi says, you feel terrible you have no memory of anything from your old life.

"I'm really sorry, I have no memory of my old life, I guess I must've had my memory wiped because I only know what people have told me about my life, and that's not even true as I'm learning, this is all new and unknown. I know you have these memories of when we were younger, but until about an hour ago I was an only child who grew up in Queens New York beside my best friend Peter Parker." You admit, Thor looks at me with sorrow, Mothi shockingly has a sorrowful essence, but more than sorrowful he's curious.

"That's okay, but, Father, has (Y/N) met Mother and Uncle Loki?" Mothi questions.

"I've met Loki, we had a lot of fun causing mischief and mayhem at the Avengers compound." You answer, knowing he asked hi- your dad, but also knowing you can speak for yourself.

"Follow me, she'll be overjoyed to see you after all of these years." Mothi invites, offering his hand for you to grab and follow him with.

"Thanks." You say, grabbing onto it as he begins to walk along the rainbow bridge to the glimmering and glittering gold castle that loomed over the land.

"It's cool, I missed having a sister, especially you." He says, chuckling at the end, you can't help but give him a questioning glance. "Oh, yeah! I forgot you don't know what you're the goddess of. You're the goddess of lightning and storms, but you inherited Uncle Loki's appreciation for mischief and mayhem. I've always wanted another sibling after you and Magni, especially because it's prophesied that Thor's fourth child will be the god of cunning and cleverness, I can't help but wonder what they'll be like."

"Oh, that's cool. On Earth I had powers, I could control lighting and sometimes the weather, they called me Static and my childhood nickname was Stormy because if I got sad or mad enough it was almost like magic how it could become rainy and stormy in seconds. They thought it was just a coincidence or after I got my powers it became like I was destined to have those powers." You add, he chuckles along with you.

"You know, I'm kinda sad we didn't grow up together, I think had we been a couple years older we could've caused all kinds of shenanigans and mischief together." Mothi reminicses, probably to times I don't remember.

"I can't help but feel like you're the responsible older sibling." I comment, he chuckles.

"You're not incorrect, but I do have the ability to have a bit of fun when I can." He mentions, you roll your eyes. "We're here, Mother's reading in her and Father's room, right here." He says, guiding you to a large, ornate double set of golden double doors.

"Wow." Was the only word you found that felt like it fit the situation.

"Yeah, but, changing topics, are you ready to meet mother?" He checks, you know that he really cares about you.

"I think so." You answer, trying to sound confident but knowing you have no idea if you're ready.

"Okay, remember to take deep breaths and you can do this." Mothi assures, you close your eyes to take one final deep breath before what was about to happen. Mothi raised his fist to knock on the door as you opened your eyes.

"Coming, one moment." You heard a feminine voice call through the doors.

"That's her handmaiden, she's kind but a bit odd." Mothi prefixes before a woman with long platinum blonde hair and extremely rosey cheeks opens the door to the left.

"Ah, Prince!" She greets looking at Mothi before her focus pans to you, all of a sudden you feel tiny and have the urge to hide. "And who do we have here? Could it be a future queen to rule beside you, Mothi?"

"No, this is the princess, Torunn, or as she knows herself to be, (Y/N)." Mothi corrects, seeming as though that was not the first time he'd been asked that or a similar question by the woman.

"Oh." She says, "Oh!" She repeats, more shocked and confused than last time as the information seems to register.

"May my sister and I see our Mother now?" He prompts, very obviously exasperated at this point. The handmaiden simply steps back, opens the arm that points to the inside of the room to gesture that she permitted you to enter, also bowing her head down.

"Wow." You utter in complete shock and amazement as you look around the beautiful and extravagant gold and jewel encrusted decorations as well as beautiful paintings and sketches all along the walls. The far wall had a spiral staircase that led to what you assumed was a loft for reading by the countless bookshelves and loose books that were scattered around the staircase's base.

"Yeah, there are some talented people in the Nine Realms that will do whatever is wanted for the royal family, especially the queen." Mothi explains, you silently nod in response.

"Mother!" Mothi calls up the stairs scuffling could be heard and after a moment there was a beautiful, fit, strong, and extremely unique looking woman in front of you.

"Who've you brought home, Mothi?" She questions, glaring at you with an unknown fear and suspicion in her eyes.

"Father found Torunn. Mother, this is (Y/N) as she grew up and has lived, but we know her as Torunn." Mothi explains, you slowly checked the pieces of information in your head to make sure he had included all of the vital stuff, he had missed two very important details so you spoke up and added them,

"I can lift Mjölnir and when I did a ball of lightning appeared, lifted me off the ground and made me glow and stuff, then made my original clothes into this thing." You gesture to your dress, "After that Thor, Father, whatever, brought me here, and here I am, a goddess, a princess? I have no idea, all I know is that I went from being human to god to a god royalty with brothers in under three hours, maybe even under an hour."

"Oh, daughter. No need to be afraid or confused, you are who you were meant to be and whatever. In truth, I'm not the best at this whole 'parent' thing, I was a warrior then a scrapper who sold people to the Grand Master for them to be enslaved fighters for his entertainment, to a Revenger, then an Avenger, then a Queen of a small colony in Norway, then somehow the girlfriend of Thor, then became the queen of Asgard which had been rebuilt in a way, I don't really know how, but here we are, post Ragnorok and Thanos's little charade, then the wife of Thor, then in what felt like a blink a mother of two," she gestures to you and Mothi to insinuate that you two were the 'two' she spoke of, "In less words because apparently I've been reading to much poetry and romance novels and now speak in monologues, you're confused and in a bit of shock. That's completely understandable and acceptable, I reckon I would also feel similarly should I be in the same position as you find yourself in."

"Thanks, that really helps to assign words to what is and has been going on in my mind through this all." You admit truthfully, seeing the relation to you and Valkyrie from the way she spoke and acted.

"Now. How about we look at a bit of the history and some pieces of good to know things and possible memories to see if we can jog your mind, see if it can catch up or if there might be some interference from magic or other possibilities." Valkyrie proposes, you slowly nod at the preposition and follow her as she leads you to a large room lined floor to ceiling, all four walls with bookshelves, all of those shelves packed to the brim with all sorts of books, tombs, and scrolls.

"Woah." You gasped, your eyes widening and jaw dropping as your gaze panned across the large library and observed all of the books and stories.

"Ueah, pretty awesome, Odin wanted there to be one room in the castle with as big of a collection of anything related to Asgard's past, present, and future, should that be important and correct accessible to only the royal family, not even servants or assistance are allowed in here because it houses secrets of the entire realm, and the other eight realms under our rule." Mothi explains.

"Cool." You respond, snapping out of it as Valkyrie drops an abnormally large tomb on the golden and cedar looking table, causing a very large bang of sorts.

"Here we are, the complete history of the Asgardian royal family, blood relatives, relatives by law, enemies, friends, allies, connections, anything, I'm pretty sure if someone had an extra toe or finger, or if someone in the royal family lost a tooth even a day late it's in this book. Also, it's really damn heavy." Valkyrie announces as she starts leafing through the pages and chapters, scanning each page as she went through.

"You don't act or seem like how I always envisioned the Valkyrie, Thor always described them as if they were these perfect, majestic, capable and beautiful, not to mention smart and brave and perfect, but you're not as perfect and majestic as I envisioned you." You comment as she bites her lip, slightly sticking out her tongue as she continued to scan through the tomb.

"Ha- Mother? Majestic? Perfect? You must be joking." Mothi laughs, Valkyrie looks up at her son and glares at the boy.

"We were, every girl dreamt of being one, every man dreamt of marrying or befriending one." She says, a smile appearing as she reminisced, her smile then faded as her eyes clouded over with grief and sadness as he continued, "Until Hela killed all but me."

"I can tell it's hard for you, you don't have to tell me if it's too hard." You assure, trying not to make your mother reminisce about the goddess of death during your first meeting.

"No, you need to know thi to understand your life, my life, your father, grandfather, uncle, aunt, your country's life." She argues, you decide to step back and let her do her thing. She closed her eyes as she took a deep breath in and stepped back to place her head between her arms which were braced on the table. "Hela is your aunt, the oldest of Oden's children, the goddess of death. She worked side by side with your grandfather as he conquered the Nine Realms, but she was never complete. She caused death and destruction everywhere she went, so Odin sent the Valkyrie to kill her. The Valkyrie were a group of highly talented, extremely capable and experienced warrior women whose only goal in life was to serve their crown and their country, they fought everyone they were told to, did whatever they were told to, etc. We went into her hiding space, a large and fortified cave, all riding our unicorns in our uniforms, carrying our swords and prepared with all sorts of weapons. She killed every. Single. Last. One. Of us. Every Valkyrie. Dead." Valkyrie's tone gets gravely serious as she punctuates her last chunk of words with grave seriousness, harsh consonant sounds, and a heavy, meaningful pause between each word that sent shivers down your spine and gave you a cold and deep pit in your stomach of grief and second-hand sorrow for the warrior, "That was the day I ended up in Sakaar, distraught and grieving after watching all of my sisters die, even one of them die in my stead. I watched my whole world crumble and I was then me by being stranded on a world I'd never seen and knew nothing about. That day on for years I swore to myself up and down that I would never return to Asgard, never respect my crown or country ever again, I was no longer a Valkyrie and I was no longer an Asgardian."

"I'm so sorry." You try, hoping to do anything to help Valkyrie in her hard, deep and sad place.

"So am I." Was her only response, that's when you notice the wet lines down her cheeks and unsteadiness of her voice meaning that she had been crying.

"Well, I think it's time to go to sleep, it's late already and Mother needs to sleep." Thor says, all of us look to the door where his voice had come from where he leaned on the wall with a small Magni asleep against his chest.

"Okay, Father." Mothi accepts, standing up and hugging his mother before hugging his father as well.

"Mothi, please show your sister to her room, I'm sure you can help her magic it to her liking. Yes?" Thor prompts, Mothi looks back at you in glee.

"Yes Father! (Y/N), follow me, we get to magic your room to look like anything you want!" The teen god exclaims, almost squealing with excitement.

"Ok, I'm coming!" You follow, extremely intrigued by the prospect of magicing your bedroom.

Once you find your brother he's in a smaller room than the last two you had visited, but the room was still larger than your room at the Avenger's compound doubled in size.

"Ok, so bippidy, boppidy, boo?" You joke, Mothi just looks at you in utter confusion. You stare back, not understanding why he didn't understand the classic reference that everyone on Earth- oh, right, you'd forgotten he isn't from Earth. "Sorry, Mothi, that's from an Earth movie that's very popular for young children to watch."

"Oh, okay. Anyway, to make your room into anything you want there are three rules, one, you can't change the basic structure of the room, so can't change the ceiling height, size, window and door placement, two, you can add a loft you just need to make sure you visualize supports and strong foundation of it, and three, be careful. The process is simple, close your eyes and visualize what you want your room to look like in as much detail as you possibly can, then say this incantation," He pauses, snapping to summon a large spell book and pulling it open at a page that's headed with large fancy text reading, MANIFESTATION OF DECOR AND OTHER BASICS OF MANIFESTING HOME OBJECTS and handing it to you. Before he lets go he runs his finger along a few lines of text and magically they're highlighted in blue. "While continuing to visualize it until you've said the incantation three times, then snap and open your eyes, and if you visualized well enough, you should have what was in your brain in the room.

"K." You simply respond and get to work, after a little visualization and incantations, complete with a snap, you open your eyes and look around at your perfect room. (insert description of said perfect room here, you have your favorites, I know you do).

"Wow." With your room decorated, you hugged your brother and got into your bed, it wasn't until you actually laid down onto the bed that you realized how tired you actually were as you fell asleep I'm What?

"Wow." With your room decorated, you hugged your brother and got into your bed, it wasn't until you actually laid down onto the bed that you realized how tired you actually were as you fell asleep almost instantly, still in your clothes from the day.almost instantly, still in your clothes from the day.
