The villagers were both in shock and awe, there were maybe five alpha tyrannosaurus rexes. All standing as tall as the trees and they were pissed... No... Livid...? Enraged...? Irate...? Uhhh... Well... They were angry to the point it was hard to pick a word to describe their rage. They wasted no time, charging at the one who broke the egg, Luna.

Luna jumped back when an AT (Alpha Tyrannosaurus) tried to bite down at her. They roared and charged after her. Lori yelled out a command and the warriors surrounded the ATs. First, Lori and other spearmen warriors did their best to restrain the beasts' movements with their own large size, making moving about difficult for them. The ATs swung their large tails and sent a number of warriors flying, but more villagers quickly took their place waving torches to use the beasts' natural fear of fire.

Then a warrior got grabbed by an AT's mouth, he screamed in terror as he was tossed into the air, the AT opened its maw to devour him, but it then roared in pain and the warrior fell back to the ground. He looked up Had it not been for Lori swiftly stabbing the creatures with a powerful thrust to the hind leg, he would've been a chewed up mess resting in the beasts stomach.

*SNAP!!!*

Lori hissed through her teeth, while she managed to pierce the dino's hide, the spearhead snapped in the beast's flesh. Lori jumped back when the AT tried to bite down on her, two more than surrounded the now-injured dinosaur. Lori felt a poke, she looked to see the warrior that got thrown, his leg having been injured from the fall, handing her his spear with a grunt. Lori nodded then took it and the warrior limped back to the caverns.

Lynn let out a fierce war cry as she charged at one of the dinosaurs not protecting the injured one, she ducked under a tail swing, sliding on the ice of the frozen lake. She then spun around 720 degrees to land a decisive and crushing blow on the back of the AT's leg with her maul. It broke the bone immediately, causing the bone shards to splinter out the other side of the dino's leg, causing grave bleeding and serious pain.

The AT roared in pain before kicking Lynn away. Sliding back, Lynn came to a stop but didn't fall. She instead maintained her balance. Withstanding the blow and getting back into an upright stance, all with a twisted grin on her face, she then roared before charging at the ATs. Going right after the same one she injured.

Back at the cavern, Leni was aiming down at the dinosaurs before relaxing her bowstring, she made a grimace face. While it looked like they were handling the situation, Leni could tell that her arrows wouldn't pierce the hides of the ATs. But there was something else stopping her. A low rumbling in the distance, the warriors couldn't hear it, but there were more Alphas coming. They were just fighting scouts.

Leni looked behind her to see several gatherers and crafters exiting the cavern through a back entrance, Lana and Lola were gathering their things, Luan and Lucy were helping elderly villagers to the exit, and Lily was with Lisa, who was prepping provisions for the journey. They were all leaving, this place was doomed if they stayed. Then, Leni heard several *thunk* noises behind her, turning she saw several arrows stabbed into a campfire.

Back in the battle, Luna could tell the dinos were still after her, as their eyes repeatedly looked at her. She knew that if she tried to approach the ATs would immediately attack her. Suddenly, Luna heard the sound of crunching snow behind her. She looked to see Lincoln behind her. He ran off and Luna noticed a clay pot next to her now, filled with animal fat, the kind they used to burn on their torches.

Luna got what Lincoln was thinking, shouting to the other warriors in her group, they each grabbed a pot of animal fat. Meanwhile, Lincoln was running around the surrounded dinosaurs as fast as he could, and repeatedly slamming his stone pick into the ice of the frozen lake. Leaving cracks in the surface all around the battle, which slowly grew toward the center as the ATs stomped around, attacking and retreating from the fire.

Then with a strained roar, Luna and her group of warriors threw the pots of animal fat high above the dinosaurs. Luna then let out a loud whistle, Leni then instinctively grabbed all of the arrows in the campfire and drew the bow and arrow. She then let the flaming arrows fly, each one hitting its mark, and the fat inside the pots ignited upon contact with the fire arrows. The pots broke open and the dinosaurs were drenched in boiling hot and flaming animal fat.

The warriors of Lori's group then started slashing their spears at the dinos, which stopped the alpha tyrannosaurus rexes and their injured friends from attacking the people. Then Lincoln came by with yellow fruit, a primitive lemon. Lincoln then sprayed the juice of the lemon onto the dinosaurs' wounds. ATs howled in pain and stormed around as the flame on their backs and lemon juice on their wounds. Lori then roared at the warriors to get everyone else off the frozen lake, some needed help to move as they were wounded from the battle.

The ice began to rapidly crack as the dinosaurs stomped about from their pain. Eventually, the ice broke underneath the ATs as they struggled to put out the flames, dropping them into the ice-cold water below. The two wounded ones were torn to pieces under the ice, due to both the jagged rocks and the razor-like ice, not helped by their broken bones, burnt flesh, and open wounds. Worse yet, while the fire was put out, the sudden temperature drop caused their scales to break upon being hit.

Fun fact, when something is heated to a high degree like with forged metal when that thing is cold at an almost insane rate, it'll become brittle like glass. Breaking at any form of impact, nothing is immune to this bit of primitive science. No matter its toughness, heat then cold will break it.

The ATs tumbled and struggled under the ice as rocks and ice tore their bodies to ribbons before their lacerated bodies came bursting out from the end of the lake and fell off the plateau with a final roar that echoed through the land as they fell to the ground. The ice continued to crack as chunks of it were broken from the ATs thrashing under it as they were swept away by the current. Then the warriors heard the sounds of heavy footsteps, they heard the other much bigger ATs coming.

They immediately began to flee to the caverns, it didn't matter if the river washed away the first group, these ones sounded like this wouldn't faze them. Lori then noticed something; Lincoln was still on the ice, having exhausted himself from running around the battle and the cold, and he couldn't move fast enough to get off. This wasn't helped by the ice becoming unstable from the ATs thrusting under it. Lori roared at her brother but it was too late, the ice under him gave way, and he fell into the icy water. Lori immediately thrust her spear into the water in hopes Lincoln would grab onto it, she looked upstream to see more ice chunks were coming.

When she felt something latch onto it, she pulled as best she could without breaking the spear. Luna and Lynn then grabbed onto the spear and pulled their hardest to get him out. Lincoln's hand then came out of the rapids followed by his head. He gasped and coughed for air, through his icy slush-covered vision, he spotted his other sisters rushing out of the cavern to help. But not even Lori, Luna, and Lynn's combined effort couldn't pull him out, he was waterlogged. If they pull too hard, the spear would snap, too light and they'd get pulled in too, escape seemed impossible. Lincoln then smiled and then... Let go.

Lori roared in confusion at Lincoln's actions, but Lincoln was simply smiling, he had accepted this inescapable death. Sure he'd die, but his sisters wouldn't. He felt his life flash before him as his body got colder and colder. He recalled being raised by Luna, his mother and father being nomads and unable to stay in the village. He recalled when his little sisters, Lucy, Lola, Lana, Lisa, and Lily were brought to the village, how they all played, learned, laughed, and even hunted together. Lincoln smiled, accepting the fact that he was going to die.

Suddenly a roar echoed throughout the area, suddenly a tree trunk came crashing into the lake like a spear, sticking itself into the ground. Lincoln slammed into it and was able to keep on it just before falling off the waterfall. Lincoln spotted Lana and Luna chopping down trees with no more than two swings. Lynn and Lori then took those tree trunks and tossed them into the rushing river like a spear, Lily, Luan, Lisa, and Lucy, made ropes to tie the trunks together, the only ones able to walk along the trunks were Lola and Leni, due to their higher sense of balance and natural gymnastic skills.

Leni reached down to give Lincoln another rope as a safety line to pull him out, while Lola tied the trunks together. Lincoln couldn't move much, much less reach for Leni's hand, due to his low body heat, keeping hold of the trunk was the best he could do. Leni managed to grab Lincoln by his fur hood, but then, she heard a heavy footstep. Looking up she saw a true warrior Alpha Tyrannosaurus Rex. It looked just like the scouts, only it was three times their size and covered in scars.

Looking down at the Louds, it knew crossing the river would be painful. All it wanted was revenge on the one who took the egg, but it couldn't smell any traces of it anymore, due to the egg gunk on Luna having been frozen and rendered scentless, and it wasn't going to harm itself for some creatures it would barely call snacks. So it turned around and whipped its long tail at the Louds. Knocking Lincoln, Leni, and Lola off the edge of the plateau. Lori, Luna, and Lynn grabbed onto the rope Lola tied to the trees, followed by the rest of the Loud sisters, but they all were pulled by the heavy trees, unable to stop themselves, they fell off the plateau, the AT turning around to leave.

Then Chandler came out of a bush, the wound where his hand was now frozen shut after having been shoved in the snow for so long. He smiled at the sight of the Louds getting smacked off the edge. Before he could roar in celebration, a spear pierced through his lower torso, he turned to see the warriors behind him. The Warriors had come back when the Louds ran for their brother. Their loyalty and companionship to the Louds drove them to return to make sure they were safe. Seeing them missing only filled their hearts with rage.

Chandler saw that his last two Outcasts were dead, one impaled through the chest and laying in a frozen pool of his own blood, and the other had his jaw smashed into his face to the point where his chin met his nose. Chandler fell to the snowy ground as the warriors surrounded him, his screams echoed throughout the area as his legs were broken, both the joints and the bone, and his torso was repeatedly stabbed again and again. His screams were then cut off by a resonating-

*KKKKRRRRUUUUCH!!!*

Lincoln opened his frozen eyelids when he felt a wave of heat hit him in the face. He was falling, far and fast, toward a forest where the heat was rising. Moreover, something was approaching him rapidly, looked like a cliff that was sticking out of the-

*KR-SPLAT!!!*

Lincoln had hit face-first and head-only into a cliff, bouncing off it and continuing to fall, blood splattered onto the rock before Lincoln's eyes closed. When he opened them, everything was black, was he dead? He could see something in front of him, it was rectangular in shape and there was something behind it... Many things and even people, doing things, making things... Then Lincoln touched the strange thing in front of him. Suddenly images started to flood his mind, images of people.

They were using wood and shaping it to make round things they attached to a large wooden box that made it easier to move... People are turning strange rocks into shiny rocks... There were people putting stone rectangles together into another box but this one people lived in... People walked with small wolves, some had snakes and other scaled beasts, and some even had spiders!

Lincoln saw so much... he couldn't understand it... Why were these people wearing strange clothes? Why were they turning rocks into shiny rocks? How were they making simple cut rocks into homes that were so tall? How did they make friends with animals? How? Why? Question after Question flooded Lincoln's head, but more images of these strange yet amazing people filled his head. Then he felt the sensation of waking up, but the images kept coming.

Lincoln opened his eyes and to see he was dangling above the ground from vines connected all over a forest, below him, he saw the dead body of an AT. There was only one of the five Alphas, clearly having snapped the vines with its own body weight, while he was saved. He couldn't see his family anywhere, they must've fallen in a different area like the other ATs.

Lincoln looked around, he was in a warm forest, it was much different from his home. It was a deep and thick forest, jungle brush was thick and hard to see past, noises of both bugs and animals were coming from every direction. He needed to think, first get down off these vines, next was to see if he couldn't find any leads to his family-

Lincoln looked around, thinking he had just heard someone speaking like those strange people in his dream-

There it was again! Looking around, Lincoln couldn't find the source of the voice. What was this voice? Where was it coming from? And why does it have an incessant need to describe every little thing that he was doing-

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" Lincoln suddenly roared at the voice, he flailed his around in anger toward the- "RAH!!!" ... Lincoln roared again, this time with his arms close to his torso- "RAH!!!" .... Lincoln roared once more- "RAH!!!" Will you- "RAH!!!" Stop- "RAH!!!" Interrupting- "RAH!!!" Me?! "RAH!!!"
