Chapter I: Visions of The Past

After summer vacation ends, I head back to School at Honnōuji academy. The life throughout the school differs from it's past being, what was once a terrine is now a will fit school. Students life's there no longer depend on the stars they hold in ranking or on there uniform. Life for all is now at peace and equality for all. Née-San has changed her ways and in ruling over Honnōji academy, though in the past she has treated the students there as "Pigs in human clothing" now she leads it. She seeds to lead the school in an image of her own change, knowing so she thrives the school into an age to greateness. Yet it surprises me at times...she once would look down on each and every soul at this school, saying "Humans are weak mined" or "they are Mir pigs in human clothing"
That had been thing I had much despised about her in the past, not only that but how she had always managed to speak big with that mouth of hers. She had....come a long way from where she had been in the past....

We ride a train awaiting the stop of it's current location "Honnōji Academy" I sit in a booth with Mako at my side and across from Née-San . "Ryuko-Chan aren't you excited to back to school? Just like old times?..." Mako says with a smile on her face. "Uhh...sure....just gonna hate all the school work..." Née-San gives me a smile. "This time...at least try to aim for decent grades..." She says with a smile. "Ya ya..." I grunt bluntly.

As we play cards and pass the time, I see it Honnōji academy gleaming at the peak of the town. Looking at it brings back memories from the past, this had once been the battle ground for me and Née-San. Our differences had made us blunt, we had trended these grounds with our swords and fought. We had been oblivious unknowing we had been bonded by blood, we had been sisters...all this time. Although we had not been given this information till we had finally realized it. Our mother had used us as test subjects for "Life Fibers" Née-San had been incompatible within the process. I had been a match for the results of the test, but they had suspected me as dead before anything could be done. So our mother had disposed of me for thought of death in the process. Knowing she Had a sister that she had no recollection to, Née-San acted to be pledged to our mother "Ragyo Kiryuin" she had sought to crush our mothers ambitions and kill her. Yet her plan had been successful it had not been enough to kill our mother. I had foiled her plans for "Life Fiber" domination, after I did she had taken her own life by crushing her heart in her own hand.

Née-San snaps her fingers in front of my face to get my attention.

"Ryuko...are listening?" She asks.

"Huh...ya ya..." I say confusedly be-founded.

She frowns and looks me in the eyes...

"Ryuko...try not to think of the bad things..." She says with worry in her voice.

What she means is not think about past teary memories such as, Senketsu or our mothers suicide.....

But knowing is only half the pain....reliving it or remembrance of any kind of bad memories makes it worse...

Knowing such a tragic thing has happened in your life....leaves a mark on you.....

"I'll try...Née-San..."

She smiles and ruffles my hair with her hand...

"That's my girl..." She says softly

I will be strong for my sake and Née-sans sake...I needn't worry her so much...after all our bond...is unbeatable...

We stand at Honnōji academy's entrance, it's appearance has not changed a bit. After all this time it still stands sturdy on it grounds. "Ryuko-Chan!! Look it's the rock we used to sit on!! Oh and look that's the hallway we walked in!" She yells enthusiastically. I smile while remembering these good memories I've had with mako in the past, Everything stands untouched.

"Well goodbye Ryuko...I have to go lead this school now..."

I smile and hold my thumb up "Go get em Née-San!"

As she enters the school she is swarmed by her faithful warriors the elite four...

"Lady Satsuki...welcome back..." They all greet her with a smile on there faces.

She smiles as well "It's good to be back..." She says happily.

As they walk deeper into the school, They leave from my found of vision.

I revert my vision back to the very grounds of the academy, where we'd had once stood. But then I see it...something red that lays on the ground in the middle of the courtyard. I walk to pick it up, this red piece of cloth laying on the ground had not just been a random piece of cloth nor rubbish. It had been a piece from non other than my dear Kamui "Senketsu" "Hey Ryuko-Chan what's that you have...?" Mako examines the piece of cloth tightly clutched in my hand. "Could it be....?" She says. I hold the piece of cloth close to my heart and feel hot streams of liquid drip off my face.

This piece of cloth i hold is...a sign...I know that Senketsu is watching me from above....wherever he is....

It is my hope....hope....of his return.....knowing that he is watching over me....makes me happy....

"Ryuko......" I suddenly hear a whisper.

I look around to see who could have called my name, but there is no one around. Only me and mako stand outside the schools entrance...could it have been my imagination or my mind playing tricks on me......?

"Ryuko..." I hear once again, but more clearer than before....

My head then begins pulsing with a heavy amount of pain, i cannot think right and I feel woozy. I fall to one knee clutching my head with both hands....

"Ryuko-Chan what's wrong?! Are you ok?!" Mako yells in panic.

"Ryuko!!..." I hear once more, but in a sudden rasped tone.

The pain is gone in an instant and I do not feel woozy anymore.....

What could that have been?....the voice that had called to me.....it had sounded like Senketsu........

"I'm fine Mako...."

"Are you sure...wanna rest a bit?" Mako asks with worry in her tone.

"No...no I'm...fine now" I say.

"Alright...." Mako says.

She walks in and gets to class without me...

Before I leave for class I give the sky a glance and gaze at the clouds for moment...

"I will find you..."
