Inside a dark room, Jaune woke up. He opens his eyes and sits up as he looks at his surroundings.

Jaune: Where am I? Am I in the office?

It was indeed the office. It was so dark that when he tried to switch the lights on, it did not turn on.

Jaune: What? Oh, that's just great.

He said in a sarcastic voice. He grabs his flashlight and turns it on. He walks around the dark halls of the pizzaria.

Jaune: It's so dark! C'mon! Well, I hope nothing goes wrong here.

He looks at the stage and the animatronics were gone.

Jaune: W-Where did they go? I hope no one's playing a prank on me.

He searches for Freddy, Bonnie and Chica. Until, he heard something coming from the kitchen.

Jaune: H-Hello?

He opens the kitchen and brings his gun out.

Jaune: If you're playing a prank on me, then I'll call the police!

He looks to his right and saw Chica standing there with her cupcake.

Jaune: W-What in the...?

Soon, Chica started to chase him, her eyes glowing red. Jaune ran for the exit, but was blocked by Freddy, also his eyes glowing red.

Jaune: Oh, shit!

He ran to the backstage and shit the door. He pants and was scared shitless.

Jaune: What the fuck. What the fuck! I'm calling the police. What the hell was that all about?

Jaune panted and hunched to catch his breath.

Then, he hears heavy breathing and then...

???: H-H-Hey there, buddy!

He sees Bonnie, who was beside the table and the suit ready to stuff Jaune.

Bonnie: We best you to get ready s-s-s-showtime!

That's when the bunny ran towards Jaune as he screamed.

Jaune jolted up and breathed heavily. He was sweating so bad too.

Jaune: J-Just a dream, huh?

Then, Jaune gets up and walks to the bathroom to wash up.

Jaune: Why did that felt so...real?

As he exits out of the bathroom, he went to make himself some coffee and looks out the window. He started having flashes of Bonnie and Chica stalking him that night and Freddy watching him. He holds his head.

Jaune: Ugh...

Then, there was a knock on the door.

Jaune: Who could that be?

Jaune goes to answer the door, with the person outside still knocking.

Jaune: Hold on!

As Jaune reaches the door he opens it.

Jaune: Hello?

There, Jaune sees Ozpin only.

Ozpin: Hello, Mr. Arc.

Jaune: (sighs) What do you want, Ozpin?

Ozpin: I want to discuss with you about your late night shift at a certain pizzaria.

Jaune: Why does it matter to you. I'm doing that job to help my financial situation.

Ozpin: I know that. If you mind, can I come in?

Jaune: Fine.

Jaune lets Ozpin in and they both sat down in the dining room.

Jaune: What's up?

Ozpin: Jaune, do you know what happens when people like you work there at night as the night guard?

Jaune: ...

Ozpin: Well, from the looks of your face, it seems like it.

Jaune: Look, I already know what to do already, okay? I just want money without your help.

Jaune told Ozpin bitterly not to stand in his way.

Ozpin: I understand. I wish you luck on your second shift tonight. May the gods be by your side.

Jaune chuckles and gave Ozpin a small smile.

Jaune: Thanks for the kind words, Professor.

Ozpin nods and stands, making his way to the door, but he stops.

Ozpin: One more thing. When you're at Freddy's, don't let that place get to you.

He exits out of the apartment and closes the door behind him.

Jaune: Get to me? What does he mean by that?

Jaune shrugged what Ozpin said and he sat down on his couch to watch TV.

Jaune's mind: Look, Ozpin. I can handle myself out there and there's no reason for you to pity me. I just need money and that's that.

Jaune looks at the time and it was 9:01 AM. He sighs and gets up and makes himself some coffee to keep himself up.

Jaune: Still...what was that about last night?

He had flashbacks of the three animatronics stalking him and the dream he had.

Jaune: It's almost like they wanted me dead. I just started working there. Maybe it had something to do about that message from the phone call last night?

Jaune shook his head to clear his thoughts about what happened.

Timeskip

Meanwhile, back in Beacon Academy, everyone was having their lunch at school. Everything was normal as usual, except for certain teams.

Yang: And so I said, "don't mess with me!"

Weiss: And you caused literal damage, you dolt.

Yang: Oh, be quiet you!

Weiss: Well, at least we don't have to worry about that Faker being here.

Yang: You said it.

Ren stayed silent from the whole conversation.

Pyrrha: I agree. It's for his own good to be out of the academy. Although, I think I heard Ozpin that he has a job.

Weiss: Why? Who would even want to hire someone like him?

Blake: Weiss, please stop. He's already gone, so stop insulting him.

Yang: Blake, he faked his way here. What do you think, Ruby?

Ruby was silent as well as she is seen playing with her food.

Yang: Ruby?

Ruby: Huh? Oh, sorry. Well, I don't believe what he was thinking, but I'm pretty sure he had his reasons.

Blake: Exactly. I heard that his family also disowned him.

Nora: I miss Fearless Leader...

Ruby: ...Y-Yeah. Anyway, we should finish our food since we have class in an hour.

They all nod, not insulting Jaune any further.

Back in Vale, Jaune is seen at a park and is looking up at the sky.

Jaune: It's a nice day outside. There are so many people enjoying their time with their friends and family.

Jaune felt sad, but the again, he was also happy that no one can control him anymore. He was a freeman that can do as he pleases no matter how dangerous it is.

Jaune: Well, time to head back after strolling through Vale and having ice cream.

Jaune stood up from the bench and walked back to his apartment.

Jaune had to get ready for his second shift and was preparing himself to face the three animatronics.
