Eddie Kaspbrak is the boy that I love but know if I date him I'd probably stab him. It's not because he's a bad guy. (Hahahaha Billie Eilish). He's actually a really nice guy. It's just he's such a Germaphobe. He probably wouldn't even want to hold hands with me if I ever asked him out.

"Hey shorty" I hear Richie say from behind me. 

"What do you want try hard." I say joking around with him. 

"Well I saw my sister kinda just standing there so I got worried. What's on your mind?" He asks. Of course, my brother knows me better than anyone so of course he could tell something's bothering me. 

"Nothing just stupid stuff."

"If it's stupid then why won't you tell me?" Richie questions

"It's stupid so why do want to know."  I snap instantly knowing this is not going to end well.

"Because you won't tell me." Richie argues back

Luckily I didn't have to tell him about anything on my mind because Henry Bowers decided that now was the time to beat Richie up. Apparently Richie thought it would be a good idea to trash Patrick Hockstetter. He is so dumb sometimes. I walk away and head to the bike rack. I stand by my bike and wait for the rest of the losers to show up. 

"What took you guys so long?" I whine to them. Richie just ignores me and gets his bike from the rack. Stan rolls his eyes while Bill mumbles something and Eddie takes a puff of his inhaler. 

"Well unlike some of us we actually had stuff to do before this." Stan says while rolling his eyes again.

"Stanley Uris did you just roll your eyes at me?" I say sounding offended. 

"Noooooo." He replies smirking at me. 

"Stan my man stop hitting on my sister I think old Eddie over here might have an asma attack soon." Richie gestures at Eddie who looked like he was going to pass out. 

"Shut up Richie. I am not it's just.... I'm worrying about something." He says totally lying. 

"G-g-guys we s-should go to the q-q-quarry today." Bill suggests. I nod my head in agreement.

"I just have to do something before we go." I say thinking of someone I talked to this morning. Her name is Beverly. I drop my bike on the ground and run towards the back of the school building.

"Where the fuck are you going?" Richie asks but I just ignores him. As I turn the corner I see Beverly's red hair and green backpack.

"BEV! BEVERLY!" I shout and she turns around. She seemed on edge for reason but smiled none he less when she saw me.

"Hey it's y/n from chemistry class right?" She asks and I nod my head.

"Yeah I wanted to know if you wanted to go to the quarry with me and a few of my friends." She seems genuinely surprised that I asked.

"Seriously? You want to invite me to go hang out with your friends. Even after what everyone has said about me."

"Yeah I don't believe rumors from stupid people and most of the girls in this school are stupid." I say

"I'll see if I have time." She says

"Alright hopefully I'll see you bye Bev." I say then start to walk away to go get my bike.

"Okay where the hell did you go in such a rush."

"None of your business Richard." I say while rolling my eyes.

"Hey that's my thing." Stan says while looking hurt

"Not anymore."

The boys played a spit game until Eddie and Richie got in a fight about who won the thing. 

"Alright who's first." I hear one of them say

"I'll go," I hear from behind me and see Beverly unbuttoning her dress, "Sissies." 

She runs to the edge of the cliff and jumps into the water.

"What the fuck!" Richie exclaims still staring at the water. 

"Alright I'm going in in." I say and do the same as Beverly. I surface up and hear five splashes and smile. I swim over to Richie and TRY to drown him. Unfortunately it didn't work and Stan pulled me off. 😭

"Stan he's my brother let me kill him." I whine while hitting Stan playfully. My eyes wander over to Eddie who looks pissed off at Stan.

"Hey y/n. Can I talk to you about something?" Eddie asks me I nod my head yes and Stan let's go of me. Eddie leads me towards the woods and I start to feel really nervous. Once we're a far enough distance away from the losers he finally stops walking.

"Ok, y/n I have liked you since I've met you. You're  absolutely funny and smart and beautiful. But every time you and Stan are together I just feel this jealousy. So what I guess I'm saying is I like you and I want to make you mine." He looks at me after he says this and I smile.

"Eddie of course I can be yours but I want to tell you something first," I say and he smiles and nods his head super goofily "There is nothing going on between me and Stan we're just really weird friends. Ok."

"Ok."

He grabs my hand and I feel my heart flutter at the touch. We walk back to the lake and Beverly and me spend the rest of the time tanning. I couldn't have been happier though.
