(Friday night, 2:39 am)

(Jungkooks POV)

I kept waking up throughout the night. I didn't know why either, I had fallen asleep around the same time I would usually go to bed. I tried getting up but then felt something heavy on my chest, keeping me from getting up. I then remembered (Y/N) stayed the night with me, making me blush. She had her arm wrapped around my waist and her head laying on my chest while she quietly slept. I smiled and sighed happily, putting my arm around her waist.

I then remembered the reason why she fell asleep with me and frowned, "she's so vulnerable at this point...why would she have bothered asking me for help.. it's not like she trusts me either." I quietly said to myself as I looked out the window, seeing the dark and starry night outside. I realized how terrifying it must've been for her, almost being raped and kidnapped by two guys she had just met, and It was all my fault. I had suspicions of the two from the start, but they were fairly good at their job, so I eventually let it go. "I'm sorry (Y/N)..this was all my fault, I should've paid attention more.." I quietly talked as I brought my arm up to her head, gently petting her hair. I then felt her move a bit and then slowly got up.

"Mmm...why are you up so late...." she said lowly and quietly, her hands gently rubbing her eyes. I smiled and giggled quietly, "sorry..I've just been in and out of sleep for a couple hours" she groaned in a sleepy-like voice and laid down on her side of the bed, yawning tiredly as she bundled up in the covers. "How long have you been up for?" She asked in her sleepy voice, making me smile even more. "Uh not that long. Like five minutes?" I said, turning to my side to face her. She looked back at me and had a small smile on her face, making my smile bigger. I leaned in and kissed her cheek softly, making her flinch and then get flustered. She then cuddled up to me and hugged me tightly, "I kinda like sleeping with you..." she whispered softly, looking up at me with a shy smile. 'God that was just adorable' I thought to myself as she kept hugging me and cuddling me. "Maybe we should keep doing this then, unless your not comfortable with it, of course" I said quietly as I cuddled her gently. She nodded and hid her face in my chest, "you're so adorable, I'd give anything to start a family with you..." I said to her quietly, giggling lightly as I saw her get super flushed in the face. "I-I uh..am..flattered I guess.?" She said very confused and nervous as she then let go of me and turn to her back to face the ceiling. "Jungkook..what happened before...thank you for for getting them away from me..I don't know what I would've done if you never came in."

I sighed and held her closer to me, still petting her hair slowly and calmly, "I realized you were gone when I was gonna ask you to dance with me, and then I didn't see you or the two so I got worried." I heard her start sniffling quietly, wiping her face with her hand quickly, "hey don't think about it anymore..they're gone, I'm here now." I started to hum softly and quietly to calm her down and help her fall asleep. She kept sniffling but still kept herself close to me.

I then started to feel her breathing get lighter and saw her Now sleeping peacefully. I leaned in and kissed her forehead before closing my eyes and finally going to sleep.

(Saturday morning 9:37 am)

(Jungkooks POV)

When I woke up I saw (Y/N) sitting up on the bed. I was about to talk when I saw tears fall down her face. She quietly wept and looked at the wall emotionless. I closed my eyes and frowned, she was probably thinking about last night again. I then felt her hand touch my cheek gently and softly. She lightly caressed my cheek with her thumb as I kept my eyes closed, hearing her quietly sniffling as well.

I opened my eyes to see a (Y/N) full of tears while still lightly caressing my cheek, "what's wrong babygirl?" I said to her tiredly. She looked at me surprised and started to wipe her face with the sleeves of my hoodie. I sat up from bed and embraced her in my arms, kissing her head and stroking her hair calmly. She rested her head on my chest and sighed.

"I want to go home...I want to live like a normal person again.." I frowned as she looked up at me with her eyes full of tears and sadness. "I really wish I could..but you know I can't, not now at least." She sniffled and kept her head down, still wiping her eyes off with the sleeves. I kissed her head and kept stroking her hair, trying to make her calm down a bit. "Jungkook..why me? Why do you only want me? There's so many other pretty girls that would love to be with you.. I don't get it"

"Because, you've always been the first girl that was always nice and sweet to me, even when you were in rough spots. You helped me through everything and I hadn't felt that kind of happiness for the longest time. You made me actually want to keep living, even when you weren't there..I still felt as if you were there helping me up."

There was a long silence afterwards. (Y/N) stayed still while I kept comforting her, petting her hair and rubbing her back gently. After a bit I heard her start to cry again, making me more worried. She hid her face from me as I tried to look at her, covering her face with her hair. "(Y/N) please...just tell me what I can do to make you happier...I'll give you whatever you want just please tell me..." she raised her head and tried to wipe her face. I wiped her tears away with my hands and kissed her forehead, "jungkook...can I please just go home...I'll visit you everyday I promise...just please...I don't want to live like this any longer Or I'll go insane.." I sighed and thought about it for a while, not wanting to dare look into her eyes. "Okay..I'll let you go home..but you promise to come here everyday right?" Her eyes soon widened and she nodded almost immediately. I took a deep breath and nodded in agreement. She then yelled happily and threw me down onto the bed, hugging me tightly, "thank you jungkook! I love you!" She kissed me on the lips gently yet quickly and continued to hug me.

"You don't mean it though.." I whispered as she kept her head on my chest. She looked up and frowned, going up to meet my eyes and kissing my lips again, this time giving long and passionate kisses. I soon kissed back, hugging her waist gently. Although she kissed me lovingly, I didn't feel a hint of it itself. She kept making it seem like it, but I felt nothing, nothing of how I used to feel years ago. She pulled back and saw my emotionless expression and sighed, "let me guess..you don't believe I love you" I sighed and nodded as I tried to get up. She gave me a sad look and got off me, standing up and stretching. "Jungkook, I do like you I do..just that, some things you've done I can't forgive yet..just wait a little longer." she gave me a small smile and went back to her room to change. I sat up at the edge of the bed, ruffling up my hair in my hands as I got up. I then heard (Y/N) gag from the other room and chuckled lowly, walking over to her quickly. "What's wrong?" I asked as I leaned on the doorway. "You guys are gross...you could've at least cleaned the floor up, now it reeks" I smiled and nodded,  "well if your so bothered, you clean it." She rolled her eyes at me and went into the closet to find clothes. "I'm not your damn housewife." I smirked and sighed contently, "maybe one day you will be." I heard her scoff as she closed the closet door to change. "Well with the way things are I'm assuming that's years from now"  she said as she changed. "So you will marry me, is what I'm hearing." I said with a small smile formed on my lips. "Wait I didn't mean it like that, I meant to word it differently" she said. Soon after she got out of the closet in her outfit.

"And where are you going in that?" I said as I stepped in front of the doorway, "I'm going home..so move" she then tried to move me from the doorway, struggling to push me out the way. "Jungkook pleaseeee" she then whined, giving me a pouty look as she finally stopped. "Kiss first" I said and leaned towards her. She pouted again and planted a quick kiss on my lips. "There, now can i go?" I smiled and moved to the side, smirking as she started to go down the stairs. "How will you get home? You don't have a car." She stopped walking and sighed as she turned to face me, "my cars at my house..." she said in realization. "I can drive you home, if you'd like." She pouted and looked at the ground, nodding after a few seconds. "Alright, let me get dressed then" I told her. She nodded and went to go wait in the living room as I changed. I decided on a light brown and black sweater to wear since it was fairly cold today.

I went into the living room to tell her I was ready. She was sitting on the couch patiently waiting for me as I changed. She looked over at me and opened her eyes wider as she saw me leaning on the door. She coughed a bit and blushed as she stood up, "u-uh I guess we should go now." She said as she turned to face me, a light pink painted onto her cheeks. I smiled and nodded, grabbing the keys from the entrance desk and opening the door. we both got into the car and soon drove off to the house she once shared with her friend.

she soon got out the car and smiled as she looked up at the house. "Thank you Jungkook" she said to me. i smiled and waved her goodbye as she started to walk to the door, putting in her lock combination and opened the door. she then went inside her house, without looking back once.

(Woo I'm glad I finally finished this chapter! I'm happy that I got this done and I can start on a brand new chapter. Also I know I don't wanna be such a pushover but could you take the time to read my first ever story that I made it would really make my day. It's called different and it's a TaehyungxReader.
