~Netanya's POV~
I woke up to Derek sleeping next to me with his arms wrapped around my waist. I carefully slid out of his arms, so that I wouldnt wake him. I checked that I was wearing clothes, yup, and then I looked at my phone. It was 7pm. I had 25 texts and 8 calls from Stiles, and 1 text from Scott. I remembered what happened earlier today and decided to not check the texts from either of them. I went out into the kitchen to make a sandwich or something. There was left over pork in the fridge. BLEHH!! I hate pork!! I kept looking and found a half drunken bottle of wine in the very back. I decided to drink that and eat some chips. I went to the living room and turned on the TV. Supernatural was on, so I watched that but it wasn't long before Derek came out shirtless and sat down beside me. He saw what I was watching and gave me a 'really?' look. I laughed and continued watching. He eventually got up and scrounged around for some food as well. He came out with a package of pop tarts and I stole one of them, hopped up, and ran around with Derek chasing me. I was laughing so damn hard I dropped the wine glass and it shattered everywhere. I stepped on a peice and screamed. Derek came over, picked me up, and carried me over to the couch once again.
"This might sting a little but once its out, the healing process will start."
"Ok ok just take it out." I snuggled into his chest embracing myself for the pain.
He pulled it out and it didn't actually hurt as bad as I thought it would and it healed really quickly.
"Thank you" I realised I was still in his lap and looking into his eyes. Those beautiful green eyes. He looked down into mine too. He started to lean forward and I did too. Thats when Erica came in through the door. I looked away and fell out of his lap, onto the ground. Nice job, self!
Derek only laughed and helped me up.
"What do u want?" Derek asked her kind of rudely.
"Um, help learning control? The full moon is tomorrow night and we still haven't been able to control it. By the way, have you seen Zeus?" I flinched a bit when she mentioned him. I was also concerned about what was going to happen tomorrow night, consitering I haven't gained control yet either.
"Zeus is dead. He attacked Netanya and tried to rape her so I killed him. You won't be able to learn control by tomorrow but I will be locking you up to keep everyone safe."
Erica just stood there, wide eyed. Zeus was her lover and Derek killed him without even thinking of her
"YOU KILLED HIM?!"
"He was going to kill Netanya so I did what was nece-"
"WHO GIVES A DAMN?! THE TRAMP PROBABLY DESERVED IT OR SHES LYING! DID YOU EVEN CONSITER THAT?!" She started crying but I was nearly in tears. I ran out of the door and down the stairs. I ran through the darkness until I reached the forest and I let the tears fall. I sat on the ground and continued crying. I missed my dad, as bad of a father he was, I missed the nights that he would come home and read to me. The tears finally started to let up but almost as soon as they were gone, I heard a hissing noise. I stood up and looked around, thinking it was a snake but I saw 2 cat like eyes through the darkness. I saw it run towards me but before I could react, I felt a cut across my neck. I fell to the ground paralyzed and in shock of what just happened. I closed my eyes and cried again, awaiting my death. It never came though and I opened my eyes to see Derek fighting the thing off. He picked me up and started running back to his house. The creature didn't follow but we still ran all the way back up to his loft. He locked the door and set me on the couch.
"Why the hell would you run off like that if you knew there was a new threat?! I thought you were dead! Lucky for you, I heard the thing hiss and found you just before it attacked!"
"Im sorry." I still couldn't move, but I started crying again.
"Its fine.. just don't ever scare me like that again! I thought I lost you.."
I just layed there and stifled my tears until they stopped compleatly. I started to gain feeling in my legs and arms but I was so tired.. I fell asleep with my head in Derek's lap.
