Jayce's POV:

Vanilla, sweet sweet vanilla... I pull the scent closer to me and breathe in. I slowly open my eyes and find Casey tucked into my side. I prop myself up on my elbow and brush a strand of hair away from her face. She scrunched up her nose at the movement. I smile and whisper, "Casey. Casey."

She groans and turns over. I laugh softly and nuzzle my nose into her neck, "Casey, wake up." I hear her sigh and her beautiful eyes met mine. Gorgeous blue eyes with a golden ring around the pupil, their unique coloring stun me. How did I get so lucky?

She rubs her eyes, "What time is it?"

I look over my shoulder at the clock, "It's 5:46 love." She groans and moves to get up, but I pull her back towards me. She laughs, "Why did you wake me up if you didn't actually want to get up?"

I sit up with her in my lap, "I didn't say we had to get up."

She raises an eyebrow, "Then what did you have in mind?" I look down at her gorgeous lips and lean closer. She bites her lip and wraps her arms around my neck. I softly kiss her lips, she's like a drug intoxicating me every time I kiss her. She is a drug that I can't live without.

I pull away and rest my forehead against hers, "I'm hungry, want dinner?" She pecks me on the lips, "Of course." That's my girl.

I get up and head towards the door, but I didn't hear Casey's footsteps. I turn around and see her sitting on the edge of the bed, "Are you coming love?" She raises her arms, "Carry me." I laugh and have her hop on my back. I hold her legs and feel her arms wrap around my neck.

I look over my shoulder, "You okay?" She nods and rests her head against my back, "What's for dinner?"

I start heading downstairs, "What would you like?"

"What would you like?" I stopped at the bottom of the stairs, "Casey..." She groans, "Jayce I don't know. Hamburgers?" Hamburgers actually sound pretty good right now. I placed Casey down and kissed her forehead, "Sure thing love."

I slipped mine hand into hers and we headed towards the back door. As I opened the door a high pitched voice called my name. Oh no...

Casey's POV:

A high pitched voice came from behind us, "Jayce!" I turned around and see a brown eyed blonde running up to us. Talk about barbie's sister. She ran over to Jayce and jumped on him, "I've missed you babe!" I let go of Jayce's hand and step aside. Who is this chick? Why is she calling Jayce babe?

Jayce pulls the girl off of himself, "Ashley, what are you doing here?" She holds his hands, "Babe what do you mean? I came here to welcome you home. I love you."

She loves him? A huge pain pierced my chest, a black emptiness moving in. Jayce seems to falter a bit and he looks towards me. I step farther behind the two.

Tears trickled down my cheeks, does he not love me? His green eyes soften, he reaches towards me, "Casey, I..." I open the back door turn and run towards the woods. Tears were flowing down my cheeks now, I could barely see.

I hear Jayce's voice, "Wait Casey!" Then I hear Ashley say, "Leave that whore, I can give you what you want..." I tune them out, Jayce never loved me? My chest started hurting even more, what's happening?

I keep running until my legs can't carry me any further. I trip over a tree root and skid across the grass. I break down crying, I'm such an idiot...

I hear a twig snap behind me, I whip around and wipe my tears away. "Jayce?" Three big, brown wolves emerged from the bushes. Their growls shook my already trembling form. That is not Jayce. I scrambled to get up and sprinted farther into the forest.

One of the wolves pounced on me, excruciating pain ripped through me as I felt something break. I scream in excruciating pain. I punched its muzzle and kicked it off of me. But another wolf sunk its teeth into my arm. Someone, please help me! I tried to get free, but the wolf only bit harder.

I screamed as the third wolf bit into my side, my eyesight was beginning to blur from the loss of blood. Then I heard a howl echo throughout the forest. I see a flash of black enter the clearing. The wolves release me and go after the black wolf. Jayce? Then nothing...
