Blood was everywhere, some mine , some Paula's , we've been at each other for what feels like days now . Every move I throw she counters , and every move she throws I counter , at this point we were both lying on the ground in pain , trying to get back up on our feet's .

"Wow , they've been at this for a while now" Jackson said
"I thought Violet would have giving up a long time ago" Seb said
"Are you kidding , did you see the punch she threw , I thought Paula would have given up a long time ago" Cameron backed me up
"Am done" Paula groaned out , as she got back on her feet , limping
"Same" I agreed, also limping to a seat between Cameron and Angela
"Here" Cameron said handing me an ice bag , with a warm smile on his face
"Thanks" I said , returning the smile back
"Girly you got skills" Paula complimented
"So do you" I said returning the compliment
"So you said you fight" Seb said , bringing up a conversation
"Yeah, underground fighting" I said
"Badass" Jackson commented, causing me to chuckle
"What's your underground name" Cameron asked
"Queen Violet" I responded
"La-amee" Paula sang , I frowned as a response
"Ok what would be a better name" I asked , rolling my eyes
"Badass Violet" Jackson suggested
"And you call her's lame" Angela retorted
"How bout Serial killer" Seb suggested
"Wow, how about not that" I said
"I got it , Dead eyes" Angela suggested
"Dead eyes , dead eyes , I like it" I said agreeing
"Yeah same" Paula agreed as well
"You guys I have to go , talk to y'all later" I said , getting up from the chair
"Byeee" they all said in unison
"I'll come with you" Angela said , placing her hand on my shoulder , as we started walking

Angela walked me to my house , there was really something about this girl , we just clicked, and now she be like my bestie.

"Wow you weren't lying when you said your neighborhood is bad" Angela said
"Yeah , thanks for dropping me of , byee" I said quickly, so she would leave

I didn't want her seeing my mum by accident

"Ok byeee" she cooed before walking away

Immediately I entered the house , I saw my mom , in the kitchen

COOKING?!?!

"Hunny" she sang
"Um hello" I said , in a confused voice , I inhaled a delicious scent coming from the kitchen "you're cooking"
"Yes , I am" she said excitedly, smiling
"What's the occasion" I asked
"I just thought we could have diner" Mom said

I wanted to say no , but then I thought , she actually went out of her way , to cook for me

"Sure"
"Really , I thought you would say no" she said
"Will Gregory be joining us" I asked , hoping she would say no
"Actually , I broke up with Gregory"

That was the best news I've heard in a really long time , it used all my strength to not do my happy dance round the room

"Why" I asked , holding back my smile
"I wanted to get better  , for you , I know that you need a mother , and I want to be that mother" she said , stroking my hair
"Thank you mama" I said giving her a tight hug , you could tell it took her by surprise, but a few seconds later she hugged me back.

It's been so long since I have been in my mother's arms  , I've missed her so much . I inhaled her scent , and for once she wasn't smelling like smoke , and alcohol.

The woman holding me now , this woman is the woman I call my mother , she is the woman who held me in her hands as a baby . Who comforted me as a kid , the woman who loved me , as her own.

"Wanna cook with me" she said releasing me from her hug , I simply nodded my head, as we made our way to the kitchen

I spent the next couple of hours cooking with my mom, it was honestly a lot of fun . I missed when we used to cook with dad , but I would just have to appreciate this. 

16 minutes later...

We were sitting down at the diner table , I was about to dig in to the Mac and cheese on the table , but my mother slapped my hand away.

"We are waiting for someone " she said , I simply nodded my head , a few seconds later , the doorbell rang , I went to get the door , and immediately I saw who was at the door , I hugged the person so tight

"You're killing mwe here" my 6 year old sister said,  tapping my back to release her
"Emily , I've missed you so much" I cooed
"I mwiss you too" Emily cooed , as I released her from the hug "Mama" she yelled running to hug my mom
"Your sister and I missed you so much"  she cooed
" I smwell Mac and cheese" she said excitedly, Mac and cheese  is her favorite food
"Dig in" I said , as I put a full spoon on her plate , and mine
"So how was your aunt Rosa" my mom asked
"She was mwean" she replied , crossing her arm over her chest
"I bet she was" I said to myself
"Violet, my sister is not mwean" my mom mimicked Emily
"She was too" Emily defended herself
"Was not" my mom fired
"Was too"
"Not"
"Too"
"Not"
"Too"

Even though my ears were bleeding from them arguing, I missed this ,'seeing my mom back to her old self again , seeing me lil sister back with us .

My 3 older sibling were always out , so I was the closest with my lil sister , so when I found out she was leaving cause of my mum I was furious. Now we're back

I didn't even noticed when a tear drop from my eye

"Honey why are you crying" my mum asked
"I just missed you" I said  ,  holding her hand  "and you" I said also holing Emily's hand
"I missed you to honey"
"Same" Emily agreed
"Love both of you"
"We love you too" they said in unison

And with that , we were slowly picking the broken pieces

At least that's what I thought
