A Fallen Angel

I woke up rather early, and got ready quickly. I was excited for what the new day would bring, and a murder hadn't happened since I was here, so that was definitely a good sign. I walked out of my cabin and locked it a small per usual. I fiddled with my strange pocket watch along the way, wondering what it was for. As I reached the food court, I noticed only me and Hajime Hinata were there. I didn't like him very much if I were to be honest, and he was looking around, under the tables...? What? I decided to avoid the awkwardness that would surely ensue should I question his table touching mannerisms and left the building.

I looked at my Monopad for the time and instructions to Gundham's cabin. It was 7:03 AM, and I didn't see anyone walking around. When I reached Gundham's cabin, I knocked and carefully stepped back, knowing he would likely slam the door open. As I predicted, the door swung violently and Gundham stood in front of me, wearing a his usual attire minus the coat. "Who dares disturb the great Gundham Tanaka?! Oh, it's you Y/N. I'm glad you're here but... Why exactly are you here?" I awkwardly rubbed the back of neck, was Kazuichi's weird habit rubbing off on me? Pun not intended... "I was going to eat, but walked in on Hinata touching the undersides of all the tables... I decided to avoid that whole situation and came here instead. I hope I'm not being a bother."

Gundham stepped aside and gestured for me to come inside. I walked into his cabin and took a look around. I'd never noticed the things in my own cabin very much, but his definitely seemed different. It was animal themed, but also edgy. Gundham put on his coat, which was resting on a chair nearby his desk. It seems like the cabins were identical in design but differed in decoration. I sat down on his bed and sort of just chilled, wondering what I should do next. Suddenly, Gundham spoke up.

"I'd like to look further into you possibly being an angel, would you show me some of your capabilities with illusions?" I nodded excitedly. "Alright! Prepare yourself, Gundham Tanaka!" I twirled around and took out a deck of cards. Shuffling them thoroughly, I help them all with one hand above my head. Holding my other hand below them, I dropped the cards, letting them fall into the hand below. However, when I help out my hand, I only held a single card. "This one is easy enough but hard to master so it looks like the cards disappear, or you could just use magic." I winked before getting rid of the cards once again. Gundham looked at me strangely.

"What items do you currently have with you?" I replied quickly. "My umbrella, my pocket watch, a magic deck of cards, a hand held mirror, and a rose!" He seemed confused but amazed. "How...?" He asked me, bewildered by my abilities. I giggled before replying. "Half the magic is the secret Gundham!" He paused before continuing. "I acknowledge your abilities, but I have two more questions. One, how do you have an rose with you?" I replied happily. "There's a vase of them in my room, and somehow they haven't died." He continued on and asked his next question.

"You said you were on a cruise ship to the Atua Isles, but what exactly was your last memory before awaking on this island?" I thought about it for a short time before replying. "I was falling. I can't remember where I was falling or where I was falling from, but I remember a feeling of falling..." Gundham looked shocked. "Then perhaps you are an angel, but a fallen one... Well, that just makes you all the more intriguing! Especially since you associate yourself with me, the Overlord of Ice and soon to be Ruler of Earth!" I thought for a moment before replying. "It may seem cliché, but perhaps we were destined to meet, Gundham." He looked into my eyes with a thoughtful expression.

"I agree with your theory, a fallen angel meeting the Dark Lord on an island in the middle of a killing game is not a simple coincidence..." We got to his desk and began writing our theories down after I got a chair from another part of his cabin for myself.

Gundham POV

Y/N may think her theory was cliché, but my mind has recently become plagued with thoughts of angels falling from heaven for falling in love wth the demons. I knew it sounded ridiculous... But I could dream. We may never make it out of here, but I hope we do so me and Y/N could perhaps live happily. Although I don't deserve Y/N, I couldn't help but wish she were mine...It's strangely ironic, me a Dark Lord, hoping for a happy ending and fantasizing about growing old with the love of my life. It's a little sad, how hopelessly in love I am.

As I drifted off in thought, I barely noticed the added weight on my shoulder. Looking over, I saw Y/N leaning on my shoulder, a small bit of drool on my jacket. I'm never washing this jacket again, not now that Y/N has come in contact with it like this. I blushed bright pink as I continued to watch Y/N.
