"Hello beautiful."

Ah so he thinks he's a player does he?

"Um hi. Are you Beetlejuice?"

"The one and only Doll."

"Okay. Let's get this straight. My name is Thea Deetz. Not beautiful . Not Doll. Thea. I dare you to call me anything else. Dead or alive. I don't care. I'll chop off your man hood before you could even move." I glared my eyes at him.

He glared back but I could tell he was slightly cringing inside about losing a significant body part.

I smirked and then went back to neutral.

"So why am I here?" I asked.

"You did call me."

"Well... I guess I did didn't I?" He rolled his eyes and I slumped to the ground.

This surprised him.

"You. You're not freaked out even in the slightest that you are talking to a dead guy?"

I shrugged. "Should I be?"

"I don't know. But, most people would be."

"You could say I'm not like most people."

"You're telling me bab... I mean Thea."

I sighed. "So what now?"

"I don't know."

"Well then. Can I go back out of here? I don't know about you, but I'm hungry and I need my one true love. My bed."

"Sure."

He waved a mimic goodbye and I found myself stood back in front of the model. I sighed and made my way back downstairs.
Lydia looked at me as if she saw a ghost.
"Where have you been, it's been nearly three months since any one has seen you. Dad has been going crazy and has been sending search parties looking for you!" She started shouting.
"Lydia calm down..."
"No! Do not tell me to call down! Do you know how worried we were? How we were like two minutes ago until I saw you!"
"Sis. I'm fine. See I'm aliv..."
"We thought you had joined mom!" She yelled but her voice cracked.
My eyes widened.
"I thought you joined mom." She whispered.
Without a second thought I ran to Lydia and wrapped my arms around her.
She started to cry.
"I'm sorry. I promise. I'll never leave you again."
"Where have you been?"
"You won't believe me if I told you."
"Thea?" The voice of our dad flooded the room.
He came rushing towards me.
"Thea? You're here right? Like physically here? I'm not dreaming?"
"I'm here." I embraced my dad and Lydia joined shortly after.
"Where's Delia?" I asked.
"She's outside looking for you."
This shocked me.
"Really?" I can't believe what I'm hearing.
Just as I spoke the front door opened and Delia and Otho came marching in with camouflage outfits on and leaves and twigs coming from their hair.
"Thea! Thank goodness you're safe. Never disappear again. You hear me. I don't think I can take another round of this."
I nodded.
"I'm sorry I worried you all. I promise I won't disappear again."
"Right will you look at the time. I believe that we all go to bed now. But before I do, I have to call Maxie first."
We all made our way to our rooms and I got changed into some PJs.
I rested myself into bed and sighed. I started to hear moaning and knew straight away that Adam and Barbra were trying to scare Delia and Dad.
"Can they be any louder?" I groaned while placing a pillow in my face.
"You're telling me."
I gasped and sat up.
There in front of me was Beetlejuice.
"Why are you here?"
"I wanted a change of scenery and you're the only other person I can talk to besides myself. Nice clothes choice if I do say so myself."
I looked down and saw that the PJs that I picked were parts see through and with lace.

I felt my cheeks heat up and  I threw my pillow at him, to which he caught and laughed. I ducked my body into my duvet and made sure nothing that shouldn't be showing was.

"Hey. How come Lydia and the others were saying that I was gone for three months? I was only in the model talking to you with what only felt like ten minutes."

"Ah. Must be the fact that you were in another dimension so to speak. Your body was shrunken and in a foreign space where it technically shouldn't have been."

I nodded. I still don't understand it really, but I guess that I don't really need to know. As long as no harm has happened then what is there to worry about.

A hand waved in front of my face.

" You still here?"

I blinked and gave him a half smile.

" I guess I'm just tired."

"Say no more. Scoot over. Let's snuggle under the covers together and get to know each other a little better?"

I gave him a sarcastic laugh and gave him the middle finger.

"I think not. You have to take me on a date or a few before you or any other specimen gets into this bed."

"Ah worth a try."

He smirked and then with a snap of his fingers he was gone.

The next day started with an argument between Delia and Lydia. Lydia was trying to convince Delia that this place was haunted and had two ghosts, technically three, were here.

I saw Adam and Barbra hovering over the door frame. I couldn't really speak to them without Lydia knowing that I know about them also and having Delia think that I've gone mad in my sudden three month disappearance.

I gave them a slight smile and sat next to Lydia, not for long though as she seemed to be annoyed and gave up. I guess she knew there was no way of getting to convince Delia without any solid proof. That makes sense. Anybody could have pictures of ghosts.

I saw the couple disappear back into the attic and sighed.

I didn't know what to do while waiting for the guests to arrive besides getting changed.

I guess that's what I'll do then.

I think it's time to start to wear white again. No point mourning any more. Sure it still hurts but that's what makes me human. Life punches you down, but regardless of how hard it hits, it's how quickly we get up and punch back that counts. I also have to go with the fact that everything happens for a reason regardless of how tragic it is.

I picked one of my crème dresses that had a black lace outline that was on the bottom of the dress.

"Nice body." I squeaked and saw him yet again.

"Ever heard of knocking? Or at least let me know that you're here."

"And ruin the show I just witnessed? No way."

I sighed. Its not like I can reverse time.

"I've just met the Maitlands if you must know. The losers ran away before any terms could be agreed on. Like they are working with a professional here."

It hit me.

"So you were possibly making a deal to scare us out of the house?" I asked. I could feel my temper slowly rising.

I think he could sense it too.

"Hold it there babe. Don't think like that."

"Strike two." was my reply.

"Well it's not like I was going to scare you at least."

Wait. What?

"Why?"

"Why spare me?"

"You seem chill. And I need company. That and I want out for good and the only way to do that is to get married. Hey, don't take it from me. These aren't my rules. Come to think of it, I have no rules."

So he thinks we're going to get married.

"Dream on Mister Beetlejuice. But, this isn't for sale." I said while motioning at my body.

He mumbled something, but was looking directly at me as he did.

"I'm sorry?"

"Doesn't matter. Whatever makes your boat float love. Uh-oh"

I grabbed my baseball bat for emergencies a second too late as he disappeared as my bat was a few inches late away from making contact with his head.

"Damn." I muttered under my breath.
"Thea. Our guests are here." I heard my dad yell.
We were all sat at the table that had Shrimp sat in front of us in a goblet shaped cup.
Delia out did herself this time.
I picked at my food not really hungry.
"So Delia mentioned that you ran away for three months Thea. Is that true?" Delia's boss person asked. What was his name again?

Meh. Doesn't matter.

I shrugged as my response and had no other interaction with anyone until Delia started acting funny.

"What's wrong Delia? Is everything alright?" I asked concerned.

Before I knew it, everyone besides myself and Lydia, were singing 'miming' along to Day-O.

The two of us got out of our seats just in time as well as the shrimp turned into hands and gripped onto their faces.

I couldn't stop myself from laughing so I decide to leave the room.

It wasn't long however until Lydia left the room to go upstairs. I'm guessing she's been forced to go to the attic to talk to Adam and Barbara. I sighed.

I went and joined Dad and the others in the main room.

"Did you know about these ghosts Thea?" Dad asked me.

"I guess."

"Why didn't you mention anything?"

"Wasn't and isn't important to mention." I shrugged.

Dad was about to respond but Lydia saved me from the lecture.

She mentioned that they were refusing to come down which seemed to tick Delia off. The guests at this point decided it was time to leave. Thank god for that.

Delia got even more ticked off and made her way upstairs towards the attic where we all followed her.

The attic door was locked, but not for long.

I decided it was best not to go in the attic and just waited for them to leave to which they did three or so minutes later.

We were all going back downstairs but the banister turned into a snake.

The head looked familiar somehow.

Wait a minute. It's him.

"We're coming for your daughters chuck." he spoke before dropping him over the edge.

He has gone too far. He could have just killed my father without having thought about it. He then looked at me and Lydia. I noticed Otho and Delia had already ran away. I pushed Lydia into her room and came face to face with him.

"Go away now." I said in calm, yet demanding tone.

He just continued to stare at me. His tongue hissing every few seconds.

"Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice." Barbara came rushing to the rescue.

"Oh no!" he shouted before disappearing and the banister turning back into normal.

I heard Lydia starting to cry out of fear. There was nothing I could do besides go in there and say everything was fine and nothing else was going to happen, but I feel like that would be lying to her.

I sighed and went to my room, where I saw him sat on my bed.

"Why did you do that huh? Are you happy now?" I so badly wanted to yell at him, but that would alert the others.

"Well not really ..."

"Button it. I don't want to hear another word from you. You're lucky that my dad is okay or I would seriously be making you regret your death life decisions."

I picked a pair of fluffy shorts and a vest top to change into. I walked into the bathroom to get changed and left my hair down for once.

I walked into my room and saw that he was now laying in my bed, next to where I usually sleep.

I didn't say anything, but climbed into my side of the bed and fell asleep remotely quickly that night.

Unknowing to me that a certain dead guy was wrapping me up into my duvet and soon then placing me into his embrace.

A/N In this story BJ doesn't go to the whore house and Lydia doesn't meet him in the model.
