(D.W is dreaming)

Kate: *Dora Winifred Read is a strong, sophisticated, and courageous young lady. She is the first female boxer to go in an undefeated streak of 900 wins, 0 losses, and 0 draws. I have the greatest pleasure of calling her my big sister. It is with great honor and an undying sister's love that I present her this Elmwood City Boxing Hall of Fame trophy as a symbol of Bravery, Justice, and Everlasting Endurance. I love you D. W.*

(The crowd cheered louder than ever as D.W walked on the stage to accept her award from her little sister.)

D.W: Thank you Kate. I love you too. Thank you everyone who believed in me and made me believe that I can do it. I thank my Mom and Dad for being at every match, I thank all of my family for being there when they could, and I dedicate all of my wins to my grandpa. I know he's up there watching me. I love you grandpa and we will meet again someday. Thank you.

Crowd: Thank you DORAAAA !!! Clap clap clap clap clap!!!! Thank you DORAAAA!!!! Clap clap clap clap clap!!!! Thank you DORAAAA!!

Host: Let's give it up for Dora Winifred everyone!!!!!

Crowd: DORA!!!!! DORA!!!!! DORA!!!

(D.W's dream was fading and her mom was calling her name)

Mom: D.W!!!! Wake up honey!!!

D. W: (wakes up with a slur) I'm up, I'm up. Good Morning mom.

Mom: Good Morning sleepy head, I made you breakfast.

D. W: Awww Thanks Mom. You know you didn't have to do that.

Mom: I know sweetie. I just wanted to. Plus I made pancakes the way your dad use to.

D.W: Thanks mom. I love you so much. Are you and dad coming to the big fight tonight?

Mom: Yeah honey. I don't wanna miss my daughter's match for nothing. Then on top of that. My manager loves you so much that he said when ever you have to fight, I can have the day off. That's a good load off of me.

D.W: I'm glad about that because I'll be facing someone new tonight. She's from Brazil and she's the toughest cookie there.

Mom: What's her name?

D.W: They haven't told me yet, but I know I gotta be ready.

Mom: Just be safe and always remember that I'll be praying for you.

D.W: Thank you mom. Your the best.

(Later in around 5pm, D.W was at the gym getting ready to train for her match in 2 hours when suddenly, she noticed that someone moved her gear out of her locker and cut her shorts. She went to Coach about the situation and asked him what happened. Coach claims that he wasn't sure what's going on and he hasn't been in the locker room. D.W saw a random female training at her area specified for her. She confronted her to talk but the new girl just stared at her.)

D.W: Um excuse me miss, who are you and are you the one who cut up my shorts?

(The woman looked at her and made a smug face towards her as if she doesn't know.)

D.W: Hello!?!  Do you speak English!!?!

(She did not respond which made D.W angry)

D.W: Alright then. Your not worth my time anyway.  It pretty sad how people act like children and can't own up to their.....

Female: WHO YOU CALLIN A CHILD YOU GRINKO!!??

D.W: Ahh, you do speak!?!

Female: Yea!! And I did cut your pants. That's to let you know that your gonna lose tonight.

D.W: Wow. And your my opponent tonight?

Female: Yes!! My name is Carmen Diablo Rodriguez

D.W: Hmm. Ok! You going down and I'll be back with some new gear. You just wait. You gonna get what's coming to you.

Carmen: I'll be waitin you shrimp!

D.W: Your so cocky to be a rookie.

Carmen: Your so lame to be a professional

(Coach came in just before they had an impromptu match right then.)

Coach: Hey!! Break it up you two!!! Go cool down now!!!

Carmen: I ain't even did nun....

Coach: I DONT CARE!! GO NOW!!!

D.W: Yeah! Get out of here!

(Carmen storms out of the gym and let's the door slam)

Coach: I can't stand these cat fights y'all always have. What ever happened to settling it in the ring nowadays?

D.W: Coach. It's 2019. You can't keep living in 1963 all your life.

Coach: Your right Dora. I just miss the good old days. If me and my friends had a dispute with one another, we take it to the ring. Back in my day, it was legal to fight over a woman. And the one that won the fight won the girl.

D.W: How old are you?

Coach: Well let's see um, I was born during the 2nd World War and I started boxin when I was 18 so this year makes me......ummmmm......79 years old.

D.W: Geez Coach. Are you even thinking about retirement?

Coach: I'm retiring when I turn 80. That's not too far from her. My birthday is December 16.

D.W: Hey, that's the same day as an author of a book I read.

Coach: Cool, well what's his name.

D.W: Hmmm. I forgot but he wrote that James Newman book.

Coach: Hmmm. That book sounds familiar. I'll remember sometime.

D.W: Yea. I gotta go Coach.

*D.W had to buy some new gear since Carmen ruined her other clothes. Luckily, Elmwood City Sports Store was open 24 hours. She ran as quick as she could to get the gear that she's been dying to get. These shorts she wanted were green with black and gold designs.  She had enough money to get them and she did. Later on back at the gym D.W was getting into her new gear.  She did her warm ups, drunk some CrocadileAde and trained. It was time for her match and she was ready to go*
