I won. It worked. I. Won. I step on the podium and give a small speech before saying: " Now! Let's have a little guest up on the podium, a friend of mine. Y/n, why don't you come up here?" She steps out of her seat and walks up to the stage.

y/n pov - The Festival

I go along with it, I didn't know this was gonna happen but I had it planned for me to go on the podium at on point anyway so I work with it. I step onto the podium and look down at the crowd getting into their seats where tommy and wilbur look up at me and stare for a bit before looking to each other and talking "not quite sure why I'm here or what to say, so Um I will just sing a song as a start... for the festival" I sigh and re-adjust the mic and fix my shirt.

(we skip a little of the song at the end for the sake of the plot 😌, we stop at the ba ba da da bit)

"One tries to fly away"
"And the other watches him close from that wire"
"He says he wants to as well"

y/n looks over to tubbo as she sings the next line.

"But he is a liar"

She looks down into the crowd to find Tommy and looks at him with a soft but sincere smile.

"I'll believe it all"
"There's nothing I won't understand"
"I'll believe it all"
"I won't let go of your hand"
"Two birds on a wire"
"One says 'c'mon' and the other says 'I'm tired' "

She looks down to Tommy with a look of worry for his reaction for the next line.

"The sky is overcast and I'm sorry"

He looks up to her confused by what she means by that but she is looking at the crowd avoiding his eyes.

"One more or one less"

She looks down at him and looks at him as she continues singing to comfort him but he looks distraught and looks over to Wilbur for help understanding what she meant but he looks just as confused and then looks up to her.

"Nobody's worried"
"I'll believe it all"
"There's nothing I won't understand"
"I'll believe it all"
"I won't let go of your hand"

She looks back over to tubbo, her smile dropping before she looks away and continues to sing.

"Two birds of a feather"
"Say that they're always gonna stay together"

She looks at Tubbo.

"But one's never going to let go of that wire"
"He says that he will"
"But he's just a liar"

Wilbur leans in closer to Tommy and whispers "You and Tubbo are the birds" before shutting up and looking back-up and y/n.

"Two birds on a wire"
"One tries to fly away and the other"
"Watches him close from that wire"
"He says he wants to as well, but he is a liar"
"Da da da da da dah. Ba da ba da ba ba ba. Da da da da da dud dud bububu"

She whispers the next line, blending it in with the last.

"Boom"

An explosion goes off.
