Brooke's pov

I decided to go to Starbucks to get breakfast since Colin is on tour. there's one about a block away and my doctor tells me to walk for exercise so I decided to walk there. I was almost there then all of sudden I saw a truck coming at me so I turned my body so my stomach wouldn't be in front of the truck. then I was having trouble breathing, on the ground and holding my stomach.

"Oh my gosh are you okay?" a man asked

"You're Scotty McCreery's daughter I'm so sorry I'm calling 911"

Then I blacked out

Colin's pov

I'm in Nashville to surprise Brooke because I got my manager to cancel the rest of tour. I walked in our house and it was quiet.

"Brooke you here!" I yelled

No answer so I checked the rooms and she wasn't there and I got a call from a unknown number so I answered it.

"Is this Colin Swindell"

"Yes who is speaking?"

"I'm doctor Tayes, your fiancé was hit by a truck when she was walking somewhere so I recommend you get down here and call her family" he hung up

I jumped in the truck and sped to the hospital. I sat in the waiting room spamming Scotty's phone haven't had a answer yet...

Scotty's pov

Nicole just birth to a beautiful baby girl named hazel grace mccreery. I went out to the waiting room to tell everyone they could go in and see them.

"Guys you can go see them now" I told my parents and my sister

They walked back and something on the news caught my attention

*a teenage girl looks about 17 or 18 with a engagement ring in her finger was hit by a re F-150, the guy told the cops he hit her and is in questioning right now. pray for this family.*

I checked my phone nervously to call Colin and noticed all the missed calls I had so I called him back

"Colin what's going on?"

"Brooke was hit by a truck this morning. I was coming to surprise her then I got the news" Colin said in tears

"I'll try to get there as soon as I can my wife just gave birth. how's Brooke and my grandson?"

"Brooke is in a coma and the doctors did an emergency C-section on Brooke to save Travis and he's fine I got to hold him before they took him back to get looked at by doctors."

"Colin, I'll get there with everyone soon okay? just stay strong for Brooke"

"I will sir"
