Chapter 1: The Accident

STILL DogDay POV:

(This was inspired by another ship, if you know the name please tell me, I'm too lazy to look)

The day hadn't started, so I went to Picky Piggy's garden to get blueberries, because I wanted make CatNap waffles. I know that blueberry was his favorite, so I prepared to make them from scratch.

(Time skip, DogDay makes a mess in the kitchen, but was successful in making the waffles)

As he walked up to CatNap's house, I saw Hoppy just sitting under a streetlight. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Oh, nothing." Hoppy said. "I'll come back in a minute." I said, after a little while. I went up to CatNap's ladder and climbed, and climbed, and climbed. Jeez it felt like while. Once I got to the top, I tripped, and fell. Backwards. Ow.

CatNap POV Finally, lol:

I had left the door open because I saw DogDay with his waffles for me. While, yes, Picky is the chef of the Smiling Critters, I knew that DogDay made some mean waffles. After waiting for a little, I saw that he had arrived at my door. I was ready to embrace in him in a hug, but he tripped backwards. I turned into my true form, wrapped my tail around the ladder, and jumped. The wind rushed against my fur, and I caught him, right before he hit the ground. There we were, dangling above the ground. "Damn it." DogDay said. "Why?" I asked. "I dropped the waffles." We both laughed about this for a little, but then he kissed me. "Oooooh." I heard Hoppy Hopscotch say, which utterly surprised me. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Well, I was waiting for someone, but I guess they forgot." Hoppy said with sorrow in her voice. "Hey, do you want to come in?" I asked to Hoppy, feeling bad for her. "Sure." She said. As I pulled myself and DogDay up to my house, Hoppy followed us on the ladder. Slowly bringing myself up with my tail, I felt DogDay squeeze my hand. Finally we had gotten to my house, I put down DogDay, and returned to my normal form. As I walked him inside, he still squeezed my hand. After laying him on the couch, I kissed him, and went to the kitchen to get a snack. As I did, I heard Hoppy Hopscotch walk in, and lay on the couch. "Anything I can get you?" I called to Hoppy. "Some popcorn." She responded. "Anything for you?" I asked DogDay. "Nope, just some popcorn." He responded. After I put the popcorn in the microwave, I walked over them and I saw Hoppy crying. DogDay was hugging her, so I join them for a group hug. We finally let go once the popcorn was ready. After putting it into the two bowls, I handed them it. Believe it or not, Hoppy was very clean, which is odd because of how much energy she has. As they ate, I sat besides DogDay and wrapped my tail around him, scooted close to him, put my fur against his, and took a nap. It felt so nice to finally take a nap. Due to me being immune to my own gas, I hadn't slept in a week.
