I told myself as I stumbled over rocks trying to keep my footing as I zoomed down a grassy hill, I could hear dead leaves crunching under my feet as I ran. CRUNCH. CRUNCH. CRUNCH. The leaves sounded so loudly to me. I was giving away my position but I had to run. I could feel my heart throbbing against my chest as I gasped for air I could hear them running behind me their breathing rang in my ears I felt like a rabbit being hunted by a wolf all I could do was write my will in my head as I ran I barely had hope I'd be able to outrun them as I prepared for my despair when my foot hit a root poking out from the dirt and sent me barreling down a hill, My side hit a pointed rock and I cried out in pain the footsteps got closer then I was lifted into their arms, they didn't say anything and they didn't seem to really care that I was wounded I couldn't squirm or even attempt to break free they had strong arms and we're roughly gripping onto me. I stared at the ground scared and unsure what was going to happen next.
