She was 36 weeks on the dot,and going into induced labour.It was dangerous to carry triplets longer that 36 weeks,and that was the only choice.As she was pushed into the room,she passed many mothers with babies on their hips.Inducing labour in Ravka was hard.First,a heartrender would have to slow the mother's heart beat and then slow the babies as other nurses fed the mother a medicine named 'индуцированный'.It tasted like dried sick and smelt accordingly,but Alina lapped it up,keen to 'get the babies out'. Both Nikolai and Mal tried to cram themselves into the delivery room.Alina only allowed Genya in,which caused much annoyance between the pair.

At 8:00am,the first triplet was born.It soon became clear who the father was.She had dark hair and coal eyes.Her face was beautiful,with keen,sharp features,like a small pointed nose and death-pale skin.She was small in size,hense why she was first out.

Then,3 minutes later,a small boy came through,crying immediately.Though no one said anything,it was clear his features were different,with blond hair and oak eyes that sparkled with charm.

Lastly,at 8:10am,another girl was born.Now the nurses were confused.This girl had short brown hair with bright blue eyes that screamed 'Malyen Oretsev is my father'. She was large for her age, too.

When the two fighting men were allowed into the room,someone stopped at the door.They stayed just in front of the door as one of the nurses explained what had happened

"It's called superfecundation.It is where multiple men father multiple children in one womb.I will not go into further detail with children present"She explained,before leaving the room.

As all nurses left the room,the four adults faced each other,all reacting diffrently to the NEWS.Nikolai was trying to act as though he was happy a children was his,but she could see the hidden worry.Mal just kept his face hard as rock,and Genya picked up Aleksander's baby,smiling at the wee thing.

"I guess this ones..mine?"Nikolai asked,picking up the baby boy.

Mal recognised his daughter quickly,picking her up and putting her to his chest.His face melted as he held her and a tear rolled down his cheek.There was one problem with the whole ordeal.What would they name them?
