Tears & More Tears

Tears

The only thing that filled this household

Crying

The only sound that can be heard from within every each of its walls

Screaming

The only action that actually ever takes place there.

This is what the little girl's house was filled with, pain, suffering, despair, everything a household shouldn't.

Her mother's tears filled that household that night, followed by her screaming.

Tonight was an event was taking place at the little girl's school.

They were to arrive in their pajamas have snacks and listen to stories with their classmates.

But, yet the little girl sat in her dining room with her little sister, listening to her mother's tears and screams echo from the neighboring room.

7:35 PM

Her parents continued to cry and scream.

The little girl peeked through the doorway to see what was happening between them, watching them.

8:10 PM

The event started at eight but yet they stayed there.

"WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO US?!" Their mother screamed at their father. "WHEN WILL WE ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO CALL A PLACE HOME!"

"WHEN PEOPLE DON'T BETRAY ME BEHIND MY BACK! WHEN I CAN ACTUALLY TRUST THOSE I WORK WITH!" their father yells back.

A loud boom fills the house.

The little girl was used to this, her father used this as a way to "control"  himself when he was mad, he would overturn furniture or destroy household possessions.

"DAMMIT MATT!" their mother yelled.

He pushed the chair their mother accompanied over, making her crash to the floor along with the chair.

"GOD DAMMIT! DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN YOU DID THAT TO ME WHEN I WAS PREGNANT WITH PAYTON!" their mother cried getting herself up from the chair.

The little girl's eyes widened at the mention of her name.

He did that to her when she was pregnant with... me?

"OH, STOP BRINGING UP THAT SHIT! YOU KNOW IT NEVER HAPPENED!" he shot back, the veins on his neck popping out.

"YES, IT DID MATT! AND IM SICK OF YOUR BULLSHIT! I WANT TO STOP MOVING, YOU NEED TO DO BETTER AT YOUR JOB!" the little girl's mother fired back.

"DON'T YOU DARE FUCKING TELL ME HOW TO DO MY JOB, YOU USELESS BITCH!"

"I HATE YOU! I HATE THIS LIFE!" their mother cried, throwing herself to the ground.

The little girl began tearing up and held her sister tightly shielding her from the war raging within the home.

Screaming,

Crying,

Pain,

Suffering,

The only things this household knew, and the only thing they had left.
