Yeonjun looked at his brother's condition and secretly called the doctor, then hurriedly brought the diary and sat next to his brother and waited for him to speak.

Taehyung stared at his brother, he wanted to tell him so many things, but sadly he didn't have the time and strength to do so. So in the end, he cried. His pulse getting  slower, breathing irregular and his eyes started to get heavier.

'This is it.' He thought sadly, to himself. He then gathered all the strength he could, to say the words he wanted to say to his brother.

"What do you want me to write, hyung?" Yeonjun asked impatiently, holding his brother's hand tight, thinking that if he didn't, his brother would slip away.

Taehyung opened his mouth and Yeonjun got ready to write whatever his hyung was going to say. But he stopped, as soon as he heard the words.

"I love you, my brother... a-and I-I'm sorry..." Taehyung said and took a deep breath and gave a faint smile to his brother. He took a long glance at his brother's face, in an attempt of taking in all his features... for the last time.

The heart monitor let out a long beep and Yeonjun sat there in shock, silently staring at his brother's closed eyes, tears slipping out from his own. The doctors and nurses came rushing inside the room. But their voices got faded in the background. The only voices Yeonjun could hear were of the heart monitor and his own heavy breathing.

And as the doctors checked on his brother, Yeonjun let out a loud sob. Because he knew his hyung was gone. The doctors looked at him sadly and shook their heads, confirming that his brother was no more.

Yeonjun wailed, desperately clutching at his hyung's icy hands, partly in an attempt to get a response from him and also because he didn't get to tell back his brother how much he loved him.

He looked at his brother's pale face and still form and ran a hand through his hair. He wiped his tears as he remembered what his brother told him. He composed himself and said the words he wanted to, even though he knew he wouldn't get a reply.

"I love you too, hyung. And don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I'll try and work hard in the future, just like you. I will make you proud. And I'll miss you a lot, hyung."
