Chapter 1

Once my plane landed, I was beyond excited. I was excited to experience a new world. So once we settled in, we went to our hotel that mom booked earlier that morning. Once we walked in I said "Oh my goodness! This hotel room is perfect mom. Thank you so much for booking us at the "Sheri Bonique Hotel". *Mom chuckles* "Oh your welcome sweetie. I'm just trying to make this experience wonderful for you :)". "Thanks mom." I said softly. "Remember Hannah honey, this is from both of us so you shouldn't just thank your mom for this, you should probably thank me too." *Dad chuckles* "Thank you dad." I say. "Anytime pumpkin" Dad says.

Later that day, after all the unpacking, I go on my laptop, and start searching for schools nearby Phoenix, and I find this one called "Liberty High". I look at the home page and I start looking around, and I thought to myself "this is the perfect school for me!". Its like an arts school. You basically have to have "talent" to get in. I like photography and I'm going to assume that taking pictures is a talent at that school.

I discuss it with my parents a few minutes later and both of them think its the perfect idea. I think my experience in Arizona so far, is going pretty well ;}}

The next day, mom calls the school and asks for an interview. And they surprisingly could fit that interview in their schedule that day. Yeah, I know. I'm shocked too.

For a special school like Liberty High, that's a big shocker. So at 5:00 P.M that day, we went in for the interview. They just wanted me to tell about myself, and explain why I like photography, and and much more. But 1 hour later, we were finally done. I thought it would never end! So the next day, we received something in the mail from Principal Porter. (Yes, this hotel has mailboxes if you are going to have a long stay). So my mom called me and my dad down to read it with her. And It read,

"Dear parent/guardian of Hannah Baker, Hannah has been accepted into Liberty High School. Congratulations. Your daughter is very talented, and we would love to have her attend Liberty High.

~ Sincerely, Principal Porter"

We all basically started flipping out, and celebrating. So there were 2 sets of very good news, and one set of bad news. The bad news is, that we have to leave the hotel. The first set of good news is we are getting a house of our own, yayy. And the second set of good news is that I got accepted into Liberty High!

To be continued someday..
