После того как домашний котенок Дымок стал предводителем Пеплозвездом , Когтегрив сказал ему убить его, На протяжении всей истории Чернолистый старался украсть заветную 9 жизнь предводителя но вскоре Чернолистый застал предводителя на обрыве с которого виднелась бурлящая вода и.. Чернолистый скинул предводителя , но Ветроцап убил Чернолистого. А Когтегрив наблюдал за этим из под кустов, после смерти своего союзника Когтегрив покинул лес полностью Но его дочь осталась жить в лесу а сын стал хорошим воином . Но все ровно его дети получили отца, который предал их. По этому его сын, так же не соблюдал воинского закона.. Но.. Это уже другая история.
