Whispers Of Heavenly Death

The sun set underneath the cold sea. In the distance, the heavy waves crashed into the bed of the ocean. Splashing and crashing, dancing in the midsummer air. Then, as she pushes herself closer to me, she calms down and dissolves into the warm sand. The sedation of motions and foam celebrate bygones- celebrate the dismissal of anger, hatred and jealousy. The chaotic ocean evolves into the mild sea, forcing me think about my journey from London. I think about the harsh crashes of a life infused with passion, love and rage. I think about the distance from London to California, and how blue I am now- to how red I was then.

As the smooth sea wrapped herself around my feet, I begun to shake off the memory of last year. Letting him, her and everyone I used to know, everyone who has pushed me to the edge of the ocean- to the loneliness of America, dissolve into darkness. I feel the need to celebrate them, feel the need to find glory in all their gore. It is a painful thing to love a dying man- he who has winded and twisted around me like a torturous whirlwind in a peaceful urban town.

The ocean pulls back and retreats to the low sun,
And my thoughts of London and everybody who consumes it, disappears into the wavering ocean.
