Wings are a symbol of freedom, but not all have freedom or wings. In a fantasy world, in a kingdom called Atheasiar, lives a beautiful race of winged humans called the Aerias. The Aerias people have some of the most beautiful wings, but those with the most majestic belong to the king, queen and their son of Atheasiar, whose family line are the only ones to have gold markings on their wings. Not all is well though, on very rare occasions there are humans born without any wings called the mundrals, who are immediately thrown out deep in the woods with other creatures and monsters. Aerias consider them monsters, who are defective. Prince Leon Lamordieu, or Leo as some who are close to him call him, is a mysterious prince with silvery snow hair and icy blue eyes, but some have said that he looks almost sad sometimes. Leo is constantly having to follow the strict rules of his parents and is rarely let outside.Ava Lockwood is a mundral, who lives in a secret village of mundrals deep in the woods, with her mother, Elaine. Ava has chestnut brown hair and light amber eyes. She has a bit of a comedic side, but is also brave and kind, who wants to be like her father. Her best friend is David, who loves to joke around and play pranks. When Ava is sad, David always knows how to cheer her up. David has black hair and dark blue eyes. Ava likes to call him Dav. Her father had been killed by the Aerias for trying to obtain the golden harp which belongs to the royal family. The golden harp is said to be the reason why the Lamordieu family has golden markings, but it is also said that the harp can give wings to any creature, including humans. Her father wanted to give freedom to her and everyone.
