Morgarath's son has been dealt with and all seems quiet in the Mountains of Rain and Night. Everyone is relieved the danger is over.
Yet, Holly is uncomfortable and not at all certain things are as quiet as they seem.
There's a new noblewoman in the royal court of Araluen and she doesn't trust the woman. She too perfect, manners too polished, pedigree too good to be true. There's something off she can't place. Not to mention she saw the woman in the forest practicing with a bow.
Despite all of her feelings about the woman no one believes there's anything wrong, they're all charmed by the pretty noblewoman.
It looks as if it's up to Holly to rally her friends and investigate to figure out what exactly is happening. It may be up to the apprentices to save the day.

After saving the girl from certain death by the drunk truck driver he was invited to live with her and her family.So I got a lot of inspiration from The Remedy For My Darkness made by Grace_sama though this story will skip the year of him living in the Karuizawa household and skip to him entering ANHS. Before entering ANHS he was challenged by the politicians that he should go all out because they wanted to see if he was the real deal. He was still handicapped and placed in class D. He agrees with their terms in one condition that she is also in the same class as him due to him being attached to her because she was the only person he truly trust and she was also the person that is helping him overcome his past. She is the first real friend he really made and his best friend. The characters Kei and Kiyotaka belong to Kinugasa, author of COTE.
