The Collection from File Cabinet #81
In late 2019, a group of contractors were working to clear out an abandoned office building in a small town in the northeast USA. During a break, one of the workers tried to catch a hardhat that had been kicked into the air. They tripped during the stunt, and instead of falling to the floor, they fell through it into a hidden basement not on the blueprints. The workers quickly got a ladder and went down to help their fallen comrade, who was bruised but otherwise ok. They searched the new room, finding documents that pertained to various previous tenants of the building. Against the far wall were three large file cabinets, one of them marked with a black #81. Inside, they found a large collection of old papers, some written in a script none recognized. The Collection passed from person to person until, last year, it came across my desk. I have worked tirelessly to transcribe the various journals and letters, and translate the strange texts to offer them here. I will not name those who provided me with the collection, nor will I name the town they came from. This is both for privacy and safety reasons. I present to you, for you to judge as you will, The Collection from File Cabinet #81.***AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a collection of short stories, as can be read in any order. They discover that Mr. Ping, a Chinese goose, is not their birth father; rather, they were only adopted by him. Suddenly their new lives of awesomeness are threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, the evil power-hungry peacock -- Lord Shen -- who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy Kung Fu. It's up to Po, Sonic, and the Furious Five to travel to Gongmen City and stop Shen. But how can Po and Sonic stop a weapon that can stop Kung Fu?
