Adonis Prior:
His glares and constant mood swings push everyone away from him, his scowls keep a three-foot radius of people away from him, and his tall muscular frame does nothing to ease the tension of those who shy away from his after just one glance.
He has only one friend and he doesn't want any more.
Adonis wasn't alone but he was lonely, he was broken from the inside out.
Daisy Ivory:
She could be seen with a smile on her face most days, although fake it was there. People generally liked her caring attitude and she shied away from the attention, hating to be on the spotlight.
Her happiness was a well built up mask that not even her best friend could see past.
Daisy was a girl with a broken heart and a broken life.
When Adonis first saw Daisy in junior year, he had no clue what to think, she seems so happy and everyone seems to fall for it but he can see past the walls. He wants to know her better but for someone who doesn't like anyone a crush like that is dangerous. Adonis knows that he'd just end up hurting her anyway.
Without even knowing her he tries to avoid her, avoids his feelings for her. Daisy noticed Adonis before, noticed the tall, mysterious boy who was always alone before but made a point to avoid him because he seemed like a heartbreaker and she has had enough heartbreak to last a lifetime.
They tried to stay away from each other but it seems the universe has different plans.
The first day of senior year, right when he thinks he was over his little crush for her, Daisy wants to be friends with him and they had no idea that their lives were to forever change.
They were both broken, and they both needed mending, and they might just be the key to each other's happiness.
Eventually, they become friends but will they ever become more than that or will their sadness swallow them whole?
Will they ever become whole again?
