Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.)What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test.-------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along. Definitely not a horror story, although it has its share of action.4 updates a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday!Copyright April 2017. All Rights Reserved. Readers may not copy, alter, or steal this story. Fanfictions are allowed to use my *world* and *zombie ranks* as long as credit is given.

Isabelle Mercier has always been seen as weak-too young, too pretty and too innocent to be told the truth about what happened to her family in France. As an act of rebellion, she shuns the mores imposed on her gender by the English upper class and leads a life away from the people and the house that sheltered her in her youth. But as the years of her life slowly trickle away, the fear of aging and dying alone grew in her mind. Figuring it was already too late for her to catch any gentleman's attention-if not affection-she dares approach the one person who promised to aid her.Francis Thornton has been sailing the seas of the Atlantic and Mediterranean most of his life, with a sterling reputation that was hard-earned, but no storm has ever left him stunned beyond belief as the azure-eyed young girl whom he had rescued from her family's enemies. Now a vice admiral for His Majesty's Royal Navy, he does not have the time or physical will to finally settle down as his family desires him to. He helped French émigrés escape the Revolution-that was his expertise. Yet when Lady Mercier recklessly asks for a specific skill he supposedly possesses to help her in an insane plan, the notoriously indomitable lord of the sea suddenly finds himself-and his heart-in a quandary.
What is your take on poetry? Do you read them? I know some are quite heavy, brooding and all, but a few like Robert Frost's , "Stopping by woods on a snowy evening" are simple and elegant. Right? In case you are wondering, why I am harping on and on about poetry, let me confess; this tale is as much about verse as it is about prose. I dug out a poem by John Godfrey Saxe, titled "The Blind Man and the Elephant" for this week's edition. The tale is titled, "Jugalbandi" which means "entwined twins." (Can I be more obvious you say! I agree). But nothing brings out the beauty of satire like a few lines of rhyme to highlight the pun. Happy Reading!
Free Range Hens | Organic Free Range Eggs | Happy Hens FarmFree-Range hens at happy hens farm lay organic free range eggs. Diet of our hen is free of non-therapeutic antibiotics and hormone free. Get free range chicken. The hens we raise are improved indigenous breeds, chosen because they are best suited for backyard poultry. They instinctively love the free-range life, foraging for insects, worms and greens, all of which make for a rich diet, with their natural agility. They spend their days wandering across green pastures or scratching under the canopy of trees. We have four varieties of hens on our farms. One of the indigenous breeds we rear is the Kadaknath. It is mainly popular in local to central India because of its adaptability to the environment and also because of the high medicinal properties it possesses. The bird has black plumage with a greenish iridescence, black kegs, claws, beak, comb, and wattle. The meat and bones of this breed are dark as well.We at Happy Hens farm take pride in rearing these breeds in our farm, one reason being that these desi/improved desi breeds have inbound instincts. The availability of these native breeds is very scarce and so we depend on private institutions and government bodies for their supply.https://www.thehappyhensfarm.com/our-hens/
