There was one news story, however, that got them both on their feet. 'Neighboring city destroyed overnight'. Sonic swore he'd never whipped around to face the television faster in his life.
"WHAT?!" Both he and Tails exclaimed in unison.
"Breaking news!" The news spokesperson person exclaimed. "The neighboring city of Soleanna has gone up in flames and decimated overnight! Sources say remnants of robots created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik remained in the city streets! As of now, we have discovered no survivors in or around the city." Sonic felt his blood freeze over and his heart stall in its beatings.
Soleanna, a city he will not soon forget, fell to an overnight blaze. Worst of all, Soleanna was close enough to Station Square to make it a potential next target. Why would Eggman do this? What reason would he have to burn an entire city?

When a neighboring city comes up in flames overnight, Sonic and Tails take it upon themselves to get to the bottom of it. With the help of their friends, they soon find themselves way in over their head. Eggman has made shady connections with a group of supposedly mythical demons, and he's using them to take over the world.
Time is cut short as the Chaos Emeralds lose their power and the demons grow in power. Will Sonic and his friends be able to save the world from a dangerous, deadly threat?
