"Why, (Y/N)!? Why can't you just remember!?" Gojo cries out at you, his blue eyes bewildered and brimming with unshed tears.

"Why?" He adds as a whisper, voice breaking. You're taken aback at his outburst, heart breaking at the sheer amount of raw grief he conveyed through his voice.

"I... I don't understand what you're talking about, Gojo. I'm sorry." Your voice is barely a whisper. You watch as his eyes widen and something inside him seems to break.

"Sorry," he reaches for his blindfold, bringing it over his white hair. "Forget I said anything." He wipes away his tears with his sleeve before sliding the blindfold over his eyes.

The Rules of Appalachia

Hassel used to think that being plucked from his life in the city to live in a cramped, rundown farmhouse in the Appalachian mountains was the worst thing that ever happened to him but when his younger brother, Sloan, goes missing in the wilderness surrounding the property he soon learns that there are worse nightmares to endure. Hassel decides that the only way he'll ever be able to move on is if he faces those very same dark, wicked, woods that swallowed his brother up and never let him go. Gathering a couple of trusted friends, he embarks on a hiking trip to set up a memorial for Sloan so that he may finally be free and lay the past to rest.
